    So guys

I'm sorry, but I found something far more beautiful than Thor and the other examples. This. And this. Seriously, soooo much more aesthetically appealing than a puny human or two.

    So guys

As the opposite of what you say is true, your statement must be erroneous.

    Girls and Boys and Sexism

I sense a Veggietales reference for some reason.

    So guys

... This entry has not degenerated into a discussion about hair. Please humor me by agreeing. Please.

    So guys

No. Because I'm sure It'd get into the sexism thing. Although here I could argue about the objectification of women but- Yeah, it'd get too moral/religious too fast. Besides, I'd die halfway through writing such an entry.

    So guys

I think we should come up with a topic not related to sexism, racism, homophobia, religion, politics, or other such things, and start a blog war over it. Wait. We already had this with Bring Back Bionicle. I guess that just means we need more ideas. Any ideas?
  7. Samantha Barks isn't positively beautiful? Oh, whew. I was going to question your eyesight and hearing.
  8. I meant what I said. I did laugh. I'm also still mentally laughing at your misconstruing of my position.
  9. As the opposite of what you say is true, your statement must be erroneous.
  10. I said nothing that I was sexist. To call me such is entirely on your part. Furthermore, I must apologize for any bluntness, but please. Please. Be rational. Not raging, not flying into a tizzy, not being irrationally sarcastic. Just nice, civil and rational. Deal? Don't make massive assumptions, 'kay? I say one thing, you assume I'm a bigot. I make a guarded statement and you assume you know my principles by heart. Seriously. I don't have a problem with woman not being in the kitchen, I don't have a problem with men being in the kitchen. If a man wants to cook, that's their choice, if a woman doesn't, that's hers, and vice versa. You're serious applying a label to me based on a few sparsely worded posts, and that's seriously not cool. I don't believe women are stronger than men. Bam, we run into definitions of strength. Women can be very, very strong. Mother Teresa and other such amazing woman far outstep men like me in terms of strength. When it comes to men being physically stronger or not, it's all relative. My reasoning for the subject is a lot wider than that. As I said, it's also a lot different than this blog entry. Woman warrior? On topic. Military? Not so much.
  11. I was replying to your statement on women and fighting. It was an aside, not a topic in itself. @thebeggerpie: Are you seriously telling me that half a million men won't talk about Catwoman? Ow.
  12. Again, this is off topic. I have neither desire nor wish to discuss the topic. Let us go back to discussing Catwoman perhaps?
  13. Well the mask of time duplication is just as bad. Besides, zombies don't have powers, so...
  14. Ideally no one should fight, but that's not happening. We also have different views of the purpose of humanity, just because I believe one thing regarding holiness and eternity, and you believe another. Next, define fight. I could argue that a woman like St. Catherine of Siena did a better job fighting than most men, even though she never touched a weapon in her life. Fighting doesn't have to involve matter or weapons. Of course, it's obvious that you were referring to physical fighting. I could most likely make a long case for why I don't like the idea of woman in the military, or why I believe that men should fight in wars rather than women, but not only would it be rather edgy regarding BZP rules, but I also feel it would detract from the purpose of the blog entry. To add to that, this is not a position I can fluently defend. Defend, yes, but not fluently. Oh, hey Kraggh. I just wanted to let you know that I will be very mad if the other most beautiful female characters do not include Eponine. >=(
  15. Don't knock Grochi just because he isn't as nitpicky as you. Well, if there's no way to escape from it even if you're a Toa of Stone, I don't think we're dealing with regular rock. And also, I made the setting underground, I did not want to massively change it. There is mystery hidden behind the mystery revealed, and the revealed mystery, being already revealed, is rather pointless to hide now. But yeah, there is mystery. I'm rewriting them to have a lot more storyline significance. No masks whatsoever. A powerless mask makes you as strong and as powerful as a regular toa, just minus the power. By nature scuba gear, unless designed in like principle to Kanohi, do not fit the bill.
  16. I cannot say how much I agree with your points on the woman warrior concept. That, especially in the case of Black Widow always turns me off. Has some good elements, but overdone. I very much agree that how Catwoman is shown, or for that matter Snow White from Snow White and the Huntsman is a much better way of showing it; their nature and goal in life is not fighting. It's more like they fight because they're forced to. Yes, you may call me sexist if you want. I will laugh if you do. And of course, in my defense, male characters whose whole character is fighting also bore me.

    *sigh*

That would be Colm, not the Bishop. I think I'll go with Cosmic Titan's advice (what I was actually kinda planning to do in the first place).
  18. Grantaire

    *sigh*

So, I want to make a picture of Colm as the bishop of Digne my avatar. On the other hand, I'm not sure if it's too religious for BZP (Roman collar + pectoral cross).... So torn.
  19. So I finally decided to do a Les Mis name change. I first thought of Marius, switched momentarily to Enjolras, and finally decided on the bishop. But now: 1: Bishop Myriel. 2: Monseigneur Bienvenu 3: The Bishop of Digne I'm torn between these.
  20. I have to almost second DV. It's a decent movie, but I'm not overfond of it. Still, it has good quotes.
  21. Page 12, I believe. And yes, the goals of the Rahkshi need a little ironing out. I did, just by PM, not topic; his fault for PMing me. My argument, at any rate was that the GBs had only six elements to begin with; they modified sand to be more applicable, and added sound and air. More elements could be put in, but they won't be starting ones.
  22. I had a good night's sleep. It worked. Then I get the feeling we've debated them to the point where there is no point continuing. Even the Bohrok had some intelligence; I guess here they just hadn't learned from their mistakes enough.
  23. The point was; I intended here that the GBs were consciously developing a rational race. Realizing it was rational, and therefore had a certain amount instability due to free choice, they developed a failsafe. In the manner of their usual failsafes (Marendar, the Baterra) it too was rather unstable in some ways. I thought our last discussion answered the point of the rahkshi's actions. Anyways, it's kinda getting like I'm looking at your paragraphs and they're separating into sentences which separate into words which separate into letters which separate into pixels which I don't understand. Well, not that bad, but kinda. I know about the rahkshi powers, going to have to edit those. I will cede that the weak point is the purpose of the Rahkshi. beyond vague ideas I really have no ideas. Thanks for pointing that out.
  24. Hey guys, I'm back again. And so is Testing Conflict. I'm tentatively looking for people willing to staff it.
