  1. I will admit, Toy Story three got me slightly at the very end. Les Mis came close. About the only things that really make me cry are things that personally effect me: i can feel grieved and pierced to the heart by a tragic story, but not to tears... Strangeness. I wonder how long it'll take for me to read that book... Before Major Seminary, I promise! Well, sorta promise. Procrastination may kick in.
  2. Your avatar makes jean Valjean look creepy. O.o

  3. It still has an ironic effect to it. XP I love my computer as well... Except when it gets annoying. I suppose it's natural to have a love/hate relationship with technology.
  4. Gata, after reading the coding in your message, I have to wonder if you're sarcastic.
  5. I hate you. In other news, I have now served at a wedding: it was actually easier than Sunday mass.
  6. Hmm... Pretty hard to say. Maybe Aderia or LL: I think I'll just say the Ambage; easier that way.
  7. IC - Lerszgal: Right, the Fe-Matoran thought to himself. You've got to calm down. Fortunately he recognized the area he was in now, and in a minute was knocking on his client's doorway. The resident, an older Ta-Matoran opened the door slowly. "Who is there?" he asked, before looking. Lerszgal grinned, recovering some of his poise. "Your rope," he answered dryly. The Matoran, seeing him, opened the door wide, beckoning him on. "Well, Lerz," he said when the traveler had stepped in, "How's Ta Koro this time of year?" Lerszgal grunted. "The security freaks me out. Not only do you have lava moats and walls, but there's even more guards than before." He unclasped his pack, letting it fall to the ground. "I got you the rope you wanted, though," he pulled it out, dropping the coiled bundle on a table. "I wonder if it's worth it sometimes." His customer laughed as he carefully counted out the required widgets. "Trying to get some sympathy widgets?" Before Lerszgal could reply he slapped his shoulder. "Thanks for bringing me this though." Lerszgal nodded. "Listen. I found a few Madu trees at the edge of Ta Wahi. It's a pretty wild place, but the trees look like their fruit is ready. You know anyone who would be willing to deal in that stuff?" "If you found some Madu trees that haven't been claimed by this or that Koro, I'm sure you can get a few customers. Listen. I know a friend over in Ga Wahi who would be willing to buy whatever you can harvest from them. but in all honesty, I've heard of that place before." Lerszgal raised his eyebrows. "Really. Why haven't you used it?" His customer shrugged. "Uncanny place, that. The few people who knew about it while Makuta was still in power blamed it on Rahi, but all we know is that no Matoran went there and made it back, and we never tried hiring a guard or anything." Larszgal was silent for a moment, thinking. "What do you think it was?" he asked. "I don't know. I'm just warning you: if you go, hire a guard at the least for your own safety." Lerszgal nodded. "It'll curb my profit, but as long as it doesn't cost too much, I can try." He took the widgets the Ta-Matoran offered him and left, deep in thought. He was familiar with this area of the Koro and in a minute was walking into the Lavapool inn. He glanced around at the beings inside and his eyes widened at the sight of two of them: whatever they were, they were certainly not Toa. The one Toa was near the counter, and he decided to walk there, maybe order something. OOC: Anyone interested in a temporary bodyguard position?
  8. Meh, I just used generalities to achieve the desired effect.
  9. IC - Lerszgal: Lerszgal's heart pounded with its typical fervor as he walked into Ta-Koro. Even before the village had become a fortress entering it had always unnerved him. But with the advent of its fortification, it was almost a nightmare: he only did business here because there was an abundant demand for the rope that he painstakenly crafted. Still, the security around the place made him wonder if it was worth it. the guardhouse alone had made him feel unnerved. The guards had been a little suspicious of the peddler, and in his instantly inflicted paranoid state he had wondered if he would even gotten in had not one of the guards recognized him from a previous travel here. Lerszgal was a Matoran of peace, that was it. He liked a good trade, a chat with a good friend or an intelligent client He liked the feel of the air, and the thrill of never living in a Koro. Guards, weapons, senseless bickering and hatred, he disliked them with a ferocious loathing. Outwardly as he walked along the road, casually glancing at the huts that lined the way, he was calm. Inside, he was about ready to run for dear life at the slightest scare. So when a dozen guard seemed to congregate out of nowhere, it was most understandable that he did not react in a patriotic manner. At the sight of the dispersing guards, he jumped back with a half gasp-half cry of surprise, trying desperately not to run.
  10. Quick question: what village would Ta Koro be at least pleasant relations with?
  11. IC - Aenarius: Aenarius grinned. "It was." "Any rate, I should be heading out for a day. Good... Whatever time it is in this place." He gave a nod to the Turaga and walked off.
  12. IC - Aenarius: The Toa gave a half-snorted laugh. "Sorry," he said. "Two hours in the sun will do me a lot more good than that."
  13. IC - Aenarius: "I meant in the sense of losing my sanity," Aenarius said, a little awkwardly. "What line of work are you in?"
  14. IC - Aenarius: "Facts have little to do with perception, more often than not," the Toa responded. Then he shrugged. "I think I need to see the sky sometime in the next month or I'll lose my widgets."
  15. You do know how bigoted this is, right? I mean seriously, it's such a subjective matter! Or not. Oranges are totally more amazing.
  16. IC - Aenarius: "After only a week here I already find it hard to believe that Onu-Wahi exists outside these caverns and tunnels," Aenarius admitted.
  17. IC - Aenarius: The Toa of Fire turned back to the water. "A far cry from the sea of Ga Wahi, are they not?" he asked offhandedly.
  18. I have to check the set, but as far as I know, Carapar is used, decent condition, comes in canister with slightly torn instructions. Currently I'm only willing to sell.
  19. I have the Nui Jaga and Tarakava, but: 1) I'm only interested in selling and, 2) I don't want to split the sets at all. So, not sure if you'd be interested.
  20. I have Carapar and, if another person is not interested, I may have Tahu 2010 as well.
  21. I have the following: ----------2002----------8550 Gahlok Va8551 Kohrak Va8552 Lehvak Va8553 Pahrak Va8554 Tahnok Va8555 Nuhvok Va Maybe some of these: I have doubles but I have to check for the specifics. ----------2007---------- 8914 Hahli I might have Maxilos and Spinax as well. ----------2009----------8985 Ackar8988 Gelu--may be incomplete, have to check.----------2010----------7116 Tahu Not sure if paypal would be an option for me: my dad is in the hospital right now, so I can't exactly use his paypal like I usually do. I know this isn't on your list, but would you be interested in the normal Jetrax or no?
  22. OOC: might as well. IC - Aenarius: He paused for a little while by the bridge, staring into the dark water. looking up he saw a figure approaching. "A good morning, Turaga," he said, giving a respectful bow to the approaching elder. IC - Caith: Getting to Onu Koro had been Karzahni. Even worse had been finding his way around it. But those headaches he didn't register as he observed the small inn. Rather, a sense of victory prevailed: he had found his target. Said target was not here, and he would have to think of a strategy of dispatching him without drawing much attention. For now he increased his hearing and sight, observing Aenarius from afar.
  23. Anyways, I'm backish. But yes, it's official as of... Perhaps two weeks ago? I've been accepted as a seminarian for my diocese! I also got to go to my first ordination mass which was very interesting: it has to be the best mass I've been to in a while. On the not so happy news, my dad had a heart attack just before that, so things have been pretty hectic for me. He's recovering, but things are still, as said, hectic. So... Aside from crazy hackers, what's new with BZPower?
  24. IC - Aenarius: Aenarius had gotten used to the lack of sunlight, but as he sat eating breakfast he couldn't shake the idea that it was still night. He wore minimal armor: cuirass, vambrace and cuisse, and sat a little slouched at his table in the inn where he was staying. His element had allowed him to find some work in the forges, but this was his day off, and he felt a little torn. To be true, he missed Ta Koro: the light and the heat, the familiar faces and locations, his work as a guard. But there was no going back. Onu Koro was as good a home as any, he felt, even if he couldn't quite convince himself to stay. Find a better job, move into a hut or room somewhere else... He got to his feet abruptly. Sitting inside for long had never been his thing and, even if outside was technically as inside, he felt like moving. His hand on the everpresent mace, he walked out the door. Outside, Onu Koro felt as it always did: like a city in the evening that had not yet shut down, but still churned on in need of rest. That feel had irked him to no end at first, but now he hardly registered it. He walked slowly, looking at the bridge ahead. He missed the beaches of Ta Wahi, but the stream that flowed through the Koro was a comforting and relaxing place.
