  1. This is why I need to do things at a time earlier than 10:30. I actually saw the note about the changed lists, but went to the rule index instead of the profile topic...
  2. Hello, everyone, I'm back. I am taking bets on how long I'll stay back. For now I'm trying to continue my Caith and Aenarius arc, and hoping to get a few Matoran characters going. And wow, things have changed.
  3. Name: Aenarius Gender: Male.Species: Toa.Alignment: Good.Appearance: An average height, rather wiry toa clad in crimson and black armor. Most of his armor is detachable, and although he retains the ration of machine parts to biologic parts, he does have skin. When not wearing his armor, which is not that often, he usually wears a pair of knee high black boots, black leggings and a black jacket, all with red embroidery. Over this he often wears a cloak, off black. He has two of them, one heavy for colder climates, and a lighter one for warmer places. His face under his kanohi is set in a keen frownlike expression, one that is rarely seen due to his kanohi.Kanohi: Matatu, shaped like a cross between a Hau and a Kakama.Powers: Elemental control of fire.Abilities: Aenarius is agile and fast and a skilled fighter with mace and shield, weapons he used even before becoming a toa.Weapons and equipment: A round shield, reinforced with a protosteel front and spiked boss. Razor-edged. He carried a flanged mace, with a head of tempered steel covered with a thin layer of protosteel. The shaft is of an extremely hard wood, covered in grooved protosteel, making it strong and gripable at once. The butt of the mace is spiked, and a broadhead-style point extends out of the head, making it a stabbing and smashing weapon. His armor is made also of tempered steel, and the cuirass and headpiece is coated in protosteel.Personality: Quiet and a little nervous about strangers, Aenarius is an idealistic warrior, who since his first day as a toa has thrown himself fullheartedly into the jobs of a protector. His protecting, however, often verges from the spheres of law to purely moral areas. He has somewhat of a fiery temper, and has a tendency to, literally, run from extremely awkward situations.History: Aenarius served for many years as a member of the Ta Koro guard, until being transformed into a toa. Upon his transformation, he left the guard on honorable discharge, and became a solo hero. His work, however, was not in line with the law, and after he killed two adulterers, one of whom happened to be a lieutenant of the guard. He was banished, almost getting executed. This only served to drive him harder, and he continued his work undercover in other Wahis, not getting caught this time. Recently his eye settled on an inn of ill repute and he, aided by several mysterious coincidental allies, burned it down, Aenarius personally killing the owner. After this he traveled to Onu Koro.Weakness: Aenarius is not an expert in his element, although he is able in it. He is weak somewhat against cold, and against telepathy and metal control. Name: Caith.Gender: Male.Species: ToaAlignment: Mercenary.Appearance: Caith is an average Toa of magnetism, clad in silver and black armor.Kanohi: The Mask of Sensory Aptitude.Powers: Megnetism.Abilities: Caith is an expert when it comes to his power. He is also fairly skilled with the short spear he carries.Weapons and equipment: Caith wields a short spear; its shaft about four feet, with a head like a sword blade, around two and a half feet long, with a cross hilt at its base. The shaft is hardwood, with a layer of steel surrounding it, making the shaft as good a weapon as the blade.Personality: Cool and collected for the most part, there is practically only one thing that makes a difference to Caith. Money. He does however had a cruel streak in him, as many of his victims can attest to.History: Caith is a mercenary, working for the highest bidder... And sometimes for himself, when there is no highest bidder. Exiled from Onu Koro after murdering one of the more wealthy miners, he travelled around the island as a hired blade, doing various jobs, whether honorable or not.Weakness: Caith has no other powers except his element and mask. His skills are normally about average without his mask. Name: Lerszgal (lures-gall) Gender: Male.Species: Fe-Matoran.Philosophic outlook: Lerszgal lives as a traveler and trader, and strives to make honesty his first attribute: he is known to talk at length about Virtue Ethics, which he holds dear. Kanohi: Powerless great Huna.Appearance: Lerszgal is a standard matoran clad in gunmetal and burnt orange armor. He wear a sleeveless tunic that reaches almost to his knees: his arm armor is strapped over it. He wears a pack on his back and a staff in his hand, but little else.Weapons and equipment: Lersgal is not a fighter, and his main weapon is a hardwood staff. He carries some simple simple tools though, primarily a hatchet and sickle. His right vambrace is built to allow a lightstone to be strapped in, created a makeshift flashlight for dark places.Personality: Lerszgal is friendly and outgoing to a point, willing to strike a conversation with just about anyone. He places a great emphasis on honesty, and is known to shun people who break his trust. History: Lerszgal has been in the business of a peddler for a long while, operating quietly under the reign of makuta. Unlike many islanders he saw the fall of Makuta as something dreadful--a terrible disruption to the way of life he had always known. He has nothing but malediction for the current political situation, trying his hardest to remain strictly neutral and selling the wares he collects from the wild at whatever village is willing to allow him entrance.Weakness: Lersgal is not a warrior: he may try to brain an attacker with his staff if need be, but he is not a warrior. Any Toa, not to mention a skilled Matoran, could easily do him in. Name: Sciux (skee-uhx)Gender: Male.Species: Matoran.Alignment: Neutral.Appearance: A Onu Matoran with battered and scratched black and grey armor.Kanohi: Powerless Huna.Powers: None.Abilities: A savage fighte, strong fast and savage.Weapons and equipment: A crude club, the most notable feature being a sharp piece of metal stuck into it. Personality: Simpleminded to begin with, Sciux is hardly smarter than a savage beast.History: Sciux was exiled from Onu Koro close to five hundred years ago. He wandered about the island until finally settling into a desolate area on the edge of Le Wahi.Weakness: Sciux's arsenal ends with his club, and he has neither powers nor a good heap of rationality.
  4. Oh my word, I almost forgot it was April Fools today until I saw this.
  5. ...Because Google translate Latin for "double birthday" sounds cool to me this late at night. Anyways, today is the 17th of my good friend, fellow cat lover and Les Mis addict, Aderia! It's also the birthday of a more recent friend of mine, the one and only Alex Humva! He too turns 17 today. The local wildlife wishes both of you an amazing kitty-filled birthday! I hope you join me in wishing them the same.* *I was going to misquote Les Mis, but I'll refrain as my own little birthday present to Aderia.
  6. Give me dark green or give me death. Erm, I mean, dark green is totally the best!
  7. Listening to a song about procrastination while procrastinating.
  8. To Kal Grochi! Grochi when he realized I posted this topic.
  9. Gato: That has nothing to do with using one word to mean an entirely different thing. What I'm saying is, using 'homophobia' to talk about racism or sexism is basically creating your own definition of a particular word, which can be rather confusing. I can't exactly say it's REALLY BAD or something, just that it can be confusing. Just like how I always end up facepalming when I use 'accident' in its philosophic sense and no one understands me. It has nothing to do with identity. It has everything to do with meanings applied to terms. tl;dr: if you used homophobia to refer to sexism in front of a person who wasn't familiar with your way of applying that word, they would probably be confused. In other words, that's not the usual definition. You'll notice I said 'edgy' not 'outright indignant and disagreeing' with the usage. It's simply that you used a word in a really unusual and rather overstretched way. And if you were referring to my first point and I totally misunderstood your post. I stick to what I said. Gay is a nice antique word. I like it. I just don't like how it's being misused, regardless of how it's being misused. EDIT: I hate it when BZP glitches and gives me weird coding.
  10. I'm in the Ambage and I've never even looked to see my points. I just chat on skype, participate in write offs, and enter in flash fiction contests. Yeah. I chat in the Ambage chat ,that's pretty much what I do for the most part.
  11. Wow. Really, really wow. This is amazing. I can only imagine how it looks IRL.
  12. But I finally made my usual seasonal avatar change. St. Nicholas ftw! Bishop of Digne will have to wait.
  13. You will be dead, but that entry will live on! Unless BZP dies.
  14. I completely and wholeheartedly agree with what you said about the word gay. It robs me of all my gaiety when people misuse the word gay! No, not being sarcastic. I really, really hate it when gay is used to state anything other than gaiety, be it referring to people of a particular sexual orientation, or calling something dumb. I just can't help feeling edgy at the using of 'homophobia' to refer to any so called hate speech. It seems more a misuse of words than anything else, regardless.

  16. Nope. The only way to get Kanohi is though the caches or kanohi deposits. The toa do not have the technology needed to create kanohi of their own. I already managed to remove every problem TPTI raised, although the rectifications are currently secret. Nonetheless, I'll think about this.
  17. Hey, what can I say? I made one reference of my beliefs in a particular subject and half of BZP dogpiles me. At least, that's how it felt.
  18. Lewalew, if there was a like button ability, I would have worn it out on this comment. And HH, while I agree with some of your statements, I think it's important to realize the other side of things too. When it comes to lust (or the temptation thereof) caused by dress, one must always realize that by no means do even the greatest men have complete control over their bodies. Regardless of whether or not our will forces us to look away or such, immodest dress does prove both a distraction and a temptation. I can't exactly assume on your position, but your post made it seem like the matter was entirely on the side of men. When it comes to lust in that form, it's a bit more delicate a balance; on the one hand one can never, ever say that every temptation a man feels is the fault of the woman he just saw. A man can be tempted by a quite modestly dressed woman. However, the woman does have the duty to guard her own body as well. The problem I think is whether people intend it or not, they end up saying one of the two extremes, neither of which are true.
  19. No Eponine. The Zar is becoming gradually saddened.
  20. I just heard Anne Hathaway rapping.

    So guys

I liked Captain Marvel better in Avenger honestly, except when he had that mask on...

    So guys

That... That hurt. Armor doesn't have muscles. Admit it though, if Thor wore either of those (especially the second) there would be no way to deny how awesome he would look.
