  1. So basically...as far as you know...you are pretty much done with the official books...wow...

Feels like it was just yesterday that I first saw a container for the original Kopaka Mata at Target and thought he was cool. I never thought at that time that I would become so enraptured by this marvelous story. This really is something. But hay, it isn't really over yet is it? I mean sure the official books might be no more, and I might be getting a bit old for the toys, but there are still stories to tell, fanfiction to write, and all that other stuff.

On a side note...Marvel Ultimate Alliance ROCKS!

  2. And for some reason, the inside of my knuckles ache and get itchy whenever exposed to the cold... It's weird...

    ~Konta~

Not sure about the itchiness, but the reason that your knuckles ache is because in the heavy cold, blood leaves your extremities to protect your vital organs (heart, lungs and stuff). So no blood in your hands or feet, and they become stiff. Same thing with your jaw (don't know if the cold does that to you, but a whole lot of people get sore jaws in the cold)

I actually love the cold. Anything over 70 degrees is uncomfortable to me, and I would prefer something like 35-30. But without snow, that is a real bummer. I love the snow more then anything (except maybe for an overcast, foggy day on a rocky, northern beach). I know that I am weird...

IIIII'm mister white Christmas! I'm mister snow! IIIII'm mister icicle! I'm mister 10 below! Friends call me Snow Miser! Whatever I touch! Turns to snow in my clutch! Da, da, da! IIIII'm too much!

Anyway, I really do hope that you get some snow. Here in southern Cal, it actually snowed a decent bit (up in the hills where I am at least) but it has almost all melted. Christmas needs snow. It is mandatory.

  3. But...But I like you! You're a good staff member! Of course there are always going to be people who have a problem with you when you are in a position of power over them but that is their problem not yours!

You think that anybody on earth would have ever become president if they took the time to think about how many people would hate them by default? I am willing to bet that if you took a poll, you would find that way more people on this site like you then dislike you.

  4. Not to sound like a kiss up but I agree with Omi. Rules (so long as they are not totally unreasonable which none on BZP are) are there for a reason. And the filter is honestly one of the things that I LOVE about BZP (I go to other sites sometimes and am disgusted by their swearing!)

The only time it is ever annoying to me is when you I writing an Epic or Short Story and you want your character to call someone a " cool dude ". That ends up sort of annoying.

But even then I still feel a sense of pride that SOMEONE on this planet still has a sense of decency.

  5. Yes...we all know this...what's the point? This is like making a post saying water is wet. Or the sun is creates light. You are just pointing out the obvious. Not that that's bad, but...everyone knows that you speak the truth.

    Me want ice cream...

  6. I personally advise, Oil of Oregano. It is a natural substance that obviously comes from the oregano plant and even though I do not have allergies, my mother and sister do and they tell me that it gets rid of it instantly. It also helps with all sorts of other things. It's like a miracle medicine, headaches, colds, all sorts of things get better much faster with it. And because it is a natural food extract, it has no side effects or disadvantages of any kind that always comes with medicine.

But I warn anyone who wishes to use it. You have to make absolutely certain that you are getting the right stuff. There are a lot of things that are packaged with the label, Oil of Oregano, but that area actually the oil of some other plant. Most of this stuff is not very good for you at all, and some is actually harmful. The brand that my family get's is called Oreganol, and it comes in a dark blue bottle. We have reasearched it and know that it is definately the real McCoy :D . Just put 2 or 3 drops on your tounge and I guarentee that your allergies will be gone. They might come back after about 15 minuets but the more times you do it the longer it takes to come back. I think that the most my sister ever had to take it was 3 times in one day. Another warning, if you get the real oil of oregano, it is spicy...surprisingly so. It's not terrible but for someone who cannot tolerate spicy stuff it might be sort of nasty. On the other hand table pepper is too spicy for me, but when I had a cold, it made my days so much better that I took it anyways. :P

  7. So in a sense, there are four different Jetrax related possibilities. Normal blue Jetrax, yellow Jetrax, alternate blue Jetrax, and even if it might not be official, you could adapt the instuctions for alternate blue Jetrax to make an alternate yellow Jetrax. That is pretty darn cool.

  8. The only real problem I can see is that Vakama could no longer stand up and pronounce "you are not the first Toa!" with so much authority. "You are not the first Toa - but are still the most important Toa in the story I'm about to tell you" doesn't quite have the same ring to it. :P

How bout' "Though you may not remember it, this is not your first adventure!"

  9. You know my marrow-y comrade, there are have been times in the past when we have had differences of opinion but you have really hit the nail on the head with this one. Not only do I agree with everything you said, I actually think I would have liked this way 'better' then the way that they have done it. Get to really have a feel for the main characters and become attached to them in ways that just can't happen in such a short amount of time that they have been main characters. Not to mention the fact that the Nuva have been my absoute favorite character since day one and I personally think that this version of the story is even better then the current one.

Kudos to you bonesiii, kudos to you.

  10. This is so beautiful...She looks so perfectly like Lariska that I admit myself astounded. Honestly I prefer your human-bionicle art to your bionicle-bionicle art though I would be very happy with either. Everything from the mechanical hand (though it is on the wrong side) to the hair, to the look on her lovely face is perfect Lariska. I don't think it would work with Roodaka, she looks too nice (not that Lariska is nice so to say but I can see her as looking nice) and far too beautiful. Infinity/10!

  11. Honestly I think your new sig sums it up pretty well,

"What a boring world it would be if we had answers for all our questions." -- Thomas Raith
That really seems to just say it all. Nuhrii's ideas are pretty cool, and it is great that he was able to effect the Bionicle world, but if the reason behind every word was known we would soon lose the feel of mysticism that permeates this great world like water through a sponge. A few things like this are awesome but I personally think we have enough for now.
  12. Definitely not the prettiest...

Seen prettier. Those are... kinda ugly.

*expects Nikira to death growl like that singer from Arch Enemy*

No need to be a louse...I wouldn't nessisarily say that they are the most beautiful on earth but that is only because I have not seen every flower on earth and so I can't judge, but to say that they are ugly is...very poor taste to say the least. It is unkind to go out of your way to say something is ugly when someone else has gone out of their way to share that somthing that they think of as beautiful with everyone else.

    SO QUIT IT!

Come now, it's his own opinion, KoE. Let him be, he hasn't said anything wrong in his statement. - Nikira

Not saying that he can't, just saying it wasn't very nice.

  13. I can't help but cry a little for your dog and you. Human kind knows no greater bond then the one they share with their dog. A dog loves unconditionally and never asks for anything other then a kind hand to rub behind it's ears once in a while. It truly is a sad loss to lose such a wonderful companion. My heart goes out to you.

  14. Odd, I'm sick too. It's just a light cold but it's annoying as heck.

I wish you a speedy recovery, just make sure to have lots of rest and as already stated, Chiken soup (or just lots of liquid in general).

  15. Nice...useful...I personally don't write a review unless I fell that I can be of some use or if I feel that the peice of artwork in questions really deserves a great compliment. This is certainly something that I feel more people should read.

Just one question. When are you going to get another piece of art up here? :P
