    Frustration

    I got super glue on my fingers from trying to put together broken parts of my clear plastic ruler. :< Clear rulers are useful for arts and drawing graphs, and there several small parts that had broken off from it being in backpack. After a year of living with a broken ruler, I decided to fix it, and a mess-up is what I get. ;_;
     
    It didn't fit together well enough because the glue bonded too quickly for me to adjust the piece so that the edge was even.
     
    Now I'm going to go do my history homework and try to get this glue off....

    Nanowrimo

    National Novel Writing Month is in ten or less days now, and I'm still not ready for it. ;_;
     
    I have yet to title my novel, for one.
    I also need to name my locations (though Blade is helping with that... maybe).
    My characters need a little fine-tuning.
    My plot has some holes that need filling in.
    And I still need to get all my music set up.
     
    This is going to be one fun and stressful month...

    Recently, while still in school, I had been feeling a bit stressed by the workload being assigned. But every day, when I turned on my computer, I was confronted with my desktop (1024x768).

    And that picture made me smile every time, no matter what. <3

    Spring Break Is Near

    Tomorrow is the last day of school before Spring Break starts for me! I'm so pumped for this break. I've been stressed out by schoolwork lately so this will be a wonderful rest for me.
    Of course I still have my Saturday program this weekend, but then I don't have it the weekend after! ^^ (I should be writing a research paper for that right now)

    But I have lots of plans for this break:
    - Going to the art museum for an art report. But I'm going with friends so I'll have fun doing work!
    - I need to restock on certain acrylic paints and buy a spare pad of palette paper. I ran out of the paper today ;-;
    - Write! I have something for this blog to write, and then a story I want to get down.
    - Practice poetry. My English class will be making a publication of our works, so I need to fix up my poems. Plus, we're having an in-class poetry slam, so I need to memorize my poem for that.
    - Draaaaw. I have had almost no time to draw stuff that isn't for school or that is a doodle in my notebook, so this time will be opportune.
    - Watch anime. Besides ongoing shows, I want to start on some other completed show. Please recommend something to me!
    - Order stuff for my piece of the mosaic for Brickfair.

    Whatever the case, I am going to enjoy this break.

    ...Or so it would have been. I have an academic program Saturday morning, so I need to go to sleep earlier and wake up early. I hope I don't ruin the party by being a good student. xP

    So I have three poems due tomorrow, specifically poems inspired by other poems. So I take a piece of looseleaf, write my name, and prepare to title it "3 Inspired Poems."

    And then I see my brother playing Pokemon while I'm writing.

    I write "3 Inspired Pokemon" and don't notice that for half an hour.

    I walk into a Pokemon Center while playing White today, and I want to heal my Pokemon. When I talk to the nurse, she exclaims, "Hey! Today's your birthday!" and then proceeds to advertise Pokemon Centers by saying I should continue visiting them for many years to come.

    I was like "whoa"

    Words Of Mystery

    So I walk into my apartment building to get to my home after school, and I enter directly after this man with an orange bucket. He has keys to the building, but I've never seen him before. Once we're both in, he looks back at me, and says something very fast.

    He either said, "Wassup?" or "Nice hat." (I was wearing my Torchic hat)

    I was so confused so all I did was give him a small smile in response.

    What kind of ambiguous (not sure that's the right word...) things have you heard?

    So my table in art class, despite our seats having been chosen by the teacher, is amazing. While painting, we all discuss and give each other relationship/dating advice... at least for those to whom it applies (not meeeee). But we sometimes have hilarious discussions. Best class ever.

    Totally unrelated - here's my [terriblish] White team's status:

    Female Lv. 33 Archen (Akemi)
    Female Lv. 31 Munna (Yui)
    Female Lv. 31 Pansear (Yoko)
    Female Lv. 24 Sandile (Sarah)
    Female Lv. 23 Vanillite (Togame)
    Yoko I plan to replace as soon as I gain access to a certain Pokemon. I also question whether to have my Munna or not. Another possible member currently is my female Lv. 22 Whirlipede, Kusanagi. Otherwise, my team will change with time only~
    But I def gotta evolve other people >__>

    Pokemon White

    I obtained it today, at a pre-release event. It is beautiful. And waiting for hours with my good friends was so worth it.

    Other goodies: An Oshawott/Mijumaru plushie and a [free] t-shirt.

    Painting Lego Bricks

    So I had to bring in two objects to art class to paint (in acrylic). One was a tiny superhero teddy bear. And the other was a ton of LEGO bricks (whose colors were carefully selected to go with the color scheme).

    Painting the bricks has been pretty annoying, specifically mixing colors for tan bricks and painting the studs in general.

    But I am proud of my painting so far.

    Limp Limp Limp

    On Tuesday in PE I ended up pulling a muscle on my right leg's calf while exercising, and ever since then I've had to limp everywhere. Stairs are a particularly powerful foe. Yet strangely, if I run, it doesn't hurt that much as walking normally does.

    However, tomorrow is Friday, and then Midwinter break sets in. I should definitely recover by the end of the break.

    So today I went to a university library. Since it's a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded, but there were people there.

    But... it was super quiet. Like, even very low whispering seemed like screaming in that extreme silence. It was so intimidating. D:

    Never underestimate the power of silence.

    Dancing Roaches

    So on Monday, when I had a day off, I went downtown to Gamestop and all, to get my shiny Suicune. Went well.

    But while I was there, I happened upon several people dressed as cockroaches and dancing. Mostly square dancing.

    Now imagine normal roaches square dancing. ._.

    It was apparently meant to advertise something about dirty hotels. Regardless, they gave out free Purell that you could attach to your bag or keys.

    It was insane. <3

    And I expect the next two movies to get even more insane.

    Evangelion 1.0

    (a lot of movies lately for me, eh?)

    Last night, I decided to treat myself for completing my finals and go watch a screening of Evangelion 1.0 in a small theater downtown. Not a lot of the content in it was new to me, but the animation was sweet, the psychological factor still crazy, and the explosions pretty explosive. It was a good recap for me too. And the theme song <3

    I can only wonder what my dad thought of it, though. xD

    Evangelion 2.0 is expected to be playing at the same place again soon.
    EDIT: There's a 3:30 PM screening tomorrow. I am so there. 8D

    Downside was that it was at, like, nine PM. So I got home pretty late, but it was worth it. I wonder what dreams I had that night, though....
