"And out of Nothing, you came. And it is into Nothing that you will go". I remember how scary Makuta looked the first time I saw him, at the end of the MNOG, when I was a child. His speech, the words he used... and then BAM, those tubes and the vortex made of pieces of other Toas (even if technically it's not canon), and Mangaia was so claustrophobic, and that music...When I made this drawing I wanted to represent, more than Makuta himself, the impression I got the first time I saw him. [Click the thumbnail] I wanted him to look somehow disturbing, everything around the mask had to be chaotical and swirling while the Hau itself should remind some kind of idol. The point of view is the one of a Toa, so you see him from the bottom upwards (Google Translate don't fail me). The original music should complete it quite well This isn't exactly "my style", it was some kind of experiment. It was fun to draw though (colouring was a little less fun; I can upload the blank version if asked). Hope you like it, and in some way scares you. Hmm, so you completly 'fell in love' with that job? It's interesting, some people absolutely love watches and little gears. You should see if this passion wanes in time and if it remains, you should probably look up for a school for jewelers/watchmakers. Also, you should see if your family/one of your friend knows a watchmaker, you could ask him what is to be a whatchmaker and to look while he's working for an hour or two (sorry for late reply, was away in the last days :\)

Thank you everybody I'm so glad you like it, I feared this style wouldn't be appreciated. 2001 is quite far away, and the sets are getting a bit old. I wanted to make the Toa a little more modern, more actual, because I think in 2013 they still have something to say. In the original idea each one was of the color of his/her element, and even if I like this version better I could upload the first one. For the hands I took inspiration from Bionicle: The Game. As for Tahu's weapon, it's that sort of 'stick' he's holding... it was supposed to be on fire, when I drew this I didn't know I wouldn't color it ^^" EDIT: Thanks Chro for pointing out ;)

After 6 months, here's finally a NEW TOPIC I made this drawing last summer, but I got to upload it only today. Here we go! [Click the thumbnail] This image was inspired by the songs 'Monday' and 'Beyond Monday' by The Glitch Mob, I suggest listening to them. I wanted to show a different aspect of the Toa Mata. I wanted them to look more aggressive, combative, powerful. I wanted might, motion (probably because I was looking at some parkour videos). I hope I was able to reach my aim, and of course I hope you like it. The drawing itself was made with a pencil, then I worked on it with Photoshop. Got something to say?
