That's pretty cool. I like the dark shading and stroke-marks. Not to mention the red eyes really add to the effect. One tiny thing is that I had trouble telling the background from the hair.

Teal and brown sounds extremely unique, however I would consider colors such as purple orange and red to go with the teal. I know it sounds a bit drastic, but I think it would be an interesting contrast.

Though for a MoC I recommend the teal and brown, just because it seems so different.

I like it, it's really cute.

The ceres look nice, though the head is a tad big. Could use a little more color, but it looks like a budgie to me.
