  1. HaHa!

Hope T-Hybrid gets a computer soon.

But you'll have to do for now. Keep typing, as you'll get better with practice. But also keep out folks like that other digimon, Makuta, Hapori Dume, etc.

Oh, and put me on the list. I'd love to come in sometime, have some fun, meet the cool group.

    have fun, T-Hybrid

  2. better yet: I'll be there all weekend to see it all. I'll probably be living in the room, showing off my MOCs.

This sounds really exciting. Any news on if the trophies will work out? I'm looking really excited to it this year, with a BZPer in charge an all.

Cover the walls with Hapori Tohu wallpaper.

Oh, and would you mind a sneak peak at a MOC being at BF this year?

I'm entering this at the least:

    http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Chocolat...MOCs/reddhh.jpg

the stroy is on the MOC card, so make sure you come to check him out. (And BTW, he's not a Toa)

Cheers to a well prepared BF06 Bionicle room by OMICRON!

  3. Ask me anything. I have all the books (except Makuta's revenge, but I'll be getting it), all the comics, and I'm a die-hard fan that knows everything about the storyline.

If there is something you need to know about, I can probably confirm it and/or give you background info. Also, don't forget about the guides and encyclopedia. Easy reference and worth every penny. I've read through each one. I can reference everything.

so, please, all questions aren't a hassle at all. Though PM or email might work better than here in the blogs.

    hope I can help!

  4. I, too, liked Pirates 2. It's just the ending that bothers me. But other than that, it had me up to the last minute.

What's funny is that my friend called me earlier today and said he wouldn't mind if there wasn't a Pirates 3. (but they basically started filming right after the second)

But I agree: The sword fights were cool, and the other moments where the actors needed to look athletic, such as when Jack is escaping from the cannibal with the bamboo on his back. Funny.

The whole movie was great, and I'd love to see it again, wouldn't you?

oh, I heard some things from that same friend, that can be recognized if seen again (highlight):

Barbosa is back because, apparently, if you die, you go to "World's End" So, when the witch lady said they needed someone who could sail the seas (really well, possibly back to World's End), he would be it, because he sailed from World's End.

And Davy Jones' lost love is the witch lady. When Jack is in the "house" and taking things from the witch's table, there is a sort of pendant, or piece of metal (possibly on a necklace) shaped like the key they all need, which Davy has/had.

I would recommend that anyone who hasn't seen it yet, go see it. And if you haven’t seen the first yet, rent that from Blockbuster first and then see Pirates 2.

Although some BZP members are under 13, so check with your parent(s) first.

  5. Alright, now you're getting somethere!

As for the Kakama, keep it phasing stuff. Passing through wasn't a power used in the story, except by Gali that one time, so it would be fun to see it in use, passing throught stuff.

I don't like how the Yala works. Actually, it's better than the Kualsi, as if he has seen the place, the mask will take him there, but it is still a little limiting. Maybe if he knows the place and is strong enough in the mask, he can go to unseen places. Even though it is a little risky. So use that after a while when things heat up. (ever see X-Men 2, where Nightcrawler has to teleport through the wall into the other Cerebro, and is all worried? Perhaps like that eventually.)

I think the kanohi are looking good

As for the Toa of Air, perhaps his wings could be sharp and used that way too.

As much as I like this story, and am excited to read it, there is one question:

Why are they like Animals? That has been done by the Hordika, and I am hoping for an explanation of their animal-like characteristics. You did seem to give something, when explaining kopaka/matoro

The reason I went with a barberian is that I wanted a Inuva to represent a very basic type fighter. I know that these types of warriors aren't usually associated with keeping to themselves...but I think that Enok's fighting style would be more instinctive than the other Toa. This is because Kopaka's fighting style isn't something Matoro is used to having, and so the clashes created a strong warrior that knows how to fight...but can't figure out how he wants to do it.

might want to have that explained somehow in the epic

But all in all, the characters are good, and this story is looking really promising.

  6. OK, I'm really excited to see a stroy for this and where this is going. The bionicle storyboard team should hire you.

Be sure to make it believable that this is an alternate story that could have happened if the actual story didn't (seeing how this will probably be wirtten by the time we know next year's story plan)

this is great, and I have some ideas. But I really like it and this isn't putting anything of yours down:

    willingly fuse

Perhaps the Nuva would be unconsious, or too out of it to really understand what is going on. They could have no say in fusing.

But the Inika would know the Nuva's state and come up with the idea. After a couple of discussions/arguments, thay decide to fuse. (make sure they each stand in front of their respective other elemental toa...jaller-tahu)

And after the fuse, the Nuva (especially Tahu) would be extremely ticked off because they didn't have a say.

perhaps all the inika are holding the staff, or touching it and someone thinks the final command. Or Axonn does the fusing.

There's somthing: convincing Axonn it's a good idea and making him fuse them. And if he doesn't think it's a good idea, he could cause the first trouble in his toughts to fuse. Or snap the staff in half, seeing as how you might want it inactive eventually.

    Kanohi

Active or inactive? That is the question. I feel a Toa is incomplete without a Kanohi. So I propose they can use something.

My idea: Inactive at first, but they slowly come out (perhaps once that third voice pops up for each toa)

Their Kanohi can be like two powers, at the same time. (huh?) Like Tahu/Jaller can be protected, like strong armor, but it doesn't create a bubble for them or everybody else. But they can dodge. Or Matoro/Kopaka can only see through things if a ghost.

Anyway, I say keep the Kanohi, and use them eventually.

Another idea: whoever seems to be in control the time can use their Kanohi. If Pohatu is controlling his body at the time, Hewkii has to sit back while Pohatu runs around everywhere. But if Hewkii is in control, he can always hit his target. This would make the two work together and sometimes have to give the other control.

    small, third voice

The Toa would have to fight that third voice back. And perhaps it would show up and take control at first. Especially when it first comes out, it would just push the other two aside in the mind because they had no idea it was coming.

Ever read the Animorph book series? No? Ok, I'll explain where I'm going with this:

There are these aliens that creep into your brain and take you over. It is almost impossible to fight for control of your body. So, bionicle wise...

This Third voice could take over, and it would take the other two big efforts to fight it back behind them. this would cause the two to work together, which would cause troubles for a faster merge.

In any case of the merge, don't have them go insane. It's been done before with the hordika.

    keetongu

they shouldn't seek him. The way I see it, he can only heal visorak venom. And it looks like you aren't creative enough to make a new character if you use him, so stay away, you can do better.

    look

Tell people they can make their own version of the Toa Inuva. Just something to MOC themselves. Or draw up. I too am a bad artist, pretty much making any bionicle look like front view, set like, but half as bad.

IMO, they should have Nuva Masks peice wise, and the art should be a fusion of the two. They could have the new and old colors, or maybe each would switch depending on the character in charge of the body at the time.

Jointed legs are always good, but I have always liked the original toa foot. Bodies would probably have to be new, but I also like the original toa bodies. We'll just see what MOCers make (which includes me)

But if you're going to make a set of guidelines of which to have them look, think about what gives Toa that Bionicle powerful look.

(although I know you haven't given much thought, it's a start)

that's my two cents, times a few.

please finish up that other epic, which you should give the link for here, and start on this, because pretty much the story shouldn't go to anyone but you. Although if you want help...consider the S&T contest #2 winners. (you though I was saying my self at first weren't you? Actually, I wouldn't mind helping either.)

  7. I remember that one. Pearls is one of the best comics, isn't it?

    hey, here's your first reply!

I bet you have some great stroies on your computer. If any are epics, you can easily keep one going and not have to worry about writers' block.

    Keep it up.

  8. Awsome promotion! Be sure to make it look awsome and cool and give it plenty of room and don't forget to put up a BZP banner on the wall.

Here's an idea: Can you arrange the MOCs that come in to be posed to be battling eachother?

Well, I'll see you there, I hope.

  9. You have internet at camp? Lucky. Pretty cool camp, using spynocluars and internet. Hope the food's good.

those MOCs sound cool too. Hope you get some time. And if you're keeping a MOC around for over a year, I hope it doesn't cause you any piece troubles.

Perhaps you could post some building progresses?

Good luck and have fun at camp!

  10. that stinks

and your grade are fine. If your not on the honors list, you're almost there, and still shouldn't have to be there.

Unless I have an "F" (which hasn't happened), my parents are usually happy with my grades if I am.

And with school out, it's surprising you're going now. That seems like something for kids troubling in the middle of the school year.

    Good luck.

  11. good music variety there

    of my favorites:

    John Mayer

    GooGoo Dolls

    And the best of all:

    PAT MCGEE BAND!!!

Pat McGee actually went to my high school and comes back for personal concerts for just the 1500 of us.

Well, I guess your music keeps you pumping. Especially if you have to watch your clock 'til you can leave. Sounds like you'd rather be building with the bricks in your office, but would probably get in trouble.

    Stick to it

  12. My life in the grand sceme of things?

    What about yours?

I think I'm here to help people, be a good person, and try to make the world a better place in my power.

Or I'm here to be an aswome Bionicle fan, a good Boy Scout and leader, and keep it all together.

Take your pic, and keep up the blogging!

  13. Good start on a blog, Chris! I'll be starting one myself as well. When I saw you on the lineup, I just knew I had to see one from someone I met! It's probably new for a ton of people.

As for a good leader of your Toa-team, I'd go with the Toa of Air, basically because I've never favored the Water beings much (but still respect them). If he is serious but funny like other Le-Toa (is that a real Bionicle word? I mean an Air toa), he sounds perfect. Like a leader open for suggestions.

Hey, here's an idea: MOC the team yourself! Don't forget to try out some new weapons, and many BZPers don't like pre-made toa bodies, but I'm sure you'll do fine!
