  1. OOC: Great job, Lev. Good foundation for the kind of background I want 337 to have. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck - Locker Room: He... remembered. It wasn't all there, but he had just unlocked some very.. interesting memories. He picked the katana up, staring at it, as if it was the only thing in existence at the moment; his eyes slowly shifted to the picture in the locker, and thought back to that specific moment in time. Finally, a crucial moment of his past, revealed. This didn't answer too many of his questions, but he realized who he was now, and was starting to piece together why he was here. That Toa... he would find him, even if he wasn't on this ship, he would find the Toa standing next to him in the photograph. "I'm not...but who knows?" he said. "I don't know anything. this could all be planted here, intended to mess with our heads," 608 said. "No, that's not possible. They couldn't have implanted us with memories.. at least, not ones like these," he said to 608. It seemed that everyone else was having similar revelations about themselves, maybe amid all this self discovery, they could get some idea of what to do next, or even where to go next. -Skar
  2. OOC: I also want to know the limits of what could be in these lockers. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck, Locker Room - Searching: A locker room.. this was certainly helpful. 337 could only assume that the large red numbers they saw just moments ago was the range of crew members who had lockers here. Most of their group fit in that range, including himself. "72 is right, we should search all our lockers for anything useful. Maybe we'll get some answers." The lockers were all in rows of 100, making the room a bit large, and quite wide. 337 walked toward the '300 - 400s' row, and walked over to where his locker should have been. The area seemed in fairly good shape.. and every locker seemed to be operational. He soon came upon his own; one thing that disappointed him was the fact that there were still no names to be found.. perhaps on the inside? He looked down at the keypad, and a sudden rush of memory flowed over him, as he recalled the code to the locker. He punched it in without a second thought, curiosity taking full control now. When he hit 'Execute', a small laser activated somewhere on the locker, scanning over 337's body. A clink sound was heard, and the locker popped open. Now.. to find out what was inside it. OOC: Holding off until I know what we can have in these lockers. -Skar
  3. IC: Ghlist - Ko-Koro - Setting off: He was long done with his trip to the mountain, and had since returned back home to the Koro. His time spent there on the mountain was uneventful, as usual; part of him wished that his life could be more interesting at times. Sure, there were plenty of happenings in his own Wahi, even in his own Koro, but he was getting a little tired of the scenery. He decided that he would pack his things, and head out on an.. adventure. At least, something to keep him busy.. maybe even make some money if he searched for it. His first stop would be Ga-Koro. Even though that was literally half an island away (and he would undoubtedly make more stops along the way), he felt like going to warmer places, and a bit of water (not frozen, for a change) sounded nice. OOC: Ghlist to Ga-Wahi. -Skar
  4. OOC: I feel flattered. I forgot how quickly these games moved.. and I apologize for not posting more. (Real life and all, you know.) IC: 337 - Personnel Deck: He turned to face the newcomer, "Yet another person to add to the list. Our group is growing with every minute that passes.. very good news," he said, turning toward the others; "And I suppose none of you are going to properly introduce yourselves?" he asked, somewhat jokingly as he moved along with the rest of the group down the lighted hallway. "No matter, I am 337, as it says on my suit.." he said, looking back toward 391, "None of us have names.. we cannot remember them. We've all taken to calling ourselves by the numbers on our suits, save the one with the damaged suit, who we now call 'Slash', apparently," he told her. 337 realized that the lighted path may not be the best. Sometimes things can appear wonderful, and turn out to be absolute misery. He sincerely hoped this wasn't the case here. -Skar
  5. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck: 337 shook his head slightly, "Splitting up sounds like a bad idea. We don't know anything about this ship, and we had enough trouble with that one beast as it was. What if there are more? I wouldn't doubt it," he told 655. "Yes, if we stick together, we can't cover as much ground; but I would take less ground over more chance of survival any day." There was just too much they didn't know.. running off in different directions so early on was surely a mistake, and 337 was going to try his best to prevent that. -Skar
  6. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck - Holding 113: 113 had awoken before 337 could even get back over to the others; "You got hit. Whether or not it was us, or that beast, I am not sure. If I was the one who knocked you unconscious, understand that I didn't intend to. Thankfully, we were able to drive the beast away, and right now we're getting our bearings back together." He told 113, setting him back on his own two feet. He noticed that a Matoran was standing nearby him (thanks to 819 activating the light on the weapon he had recovered from the Steltian); he turned to her, "Are you alright?" he asked. During the skirmish, he had noticed a smaller form nearby 113 and the monster.. it must have been her. -Skar
  7. IC 337 - Personnel Deck - Grabbing 113: It would take two or more people to carry the Steltian, but 337 could carry 113. Laser at the ready, he quickly moved over toward the unconscious 113 was; first, he made sure he was still alive, which he was. He reached down and picked him up with both arms, and hoisted the fellow over his left shoulder, keeping his laser arm free to fire. He turned back toward where the group was; "I've got the unconscious one, if we want to take the dead Steltian, two people may have to carry him." He said to them, keeping his eyes and ears trained toward where the beast had last been spotted. -Skar
  8. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck - Striking: A glimpse was all he needed, and he even had some dim lighting to aid him. He wasted no time in discerning who was who, and where they were in that moment- even if he had only a split second to see where the two were. He raised his right arm, activating the laser weapon that was normally concealed. He aimed directly toward the spot he had just seen the being attacking 113, and fired a single blast.. if he didn't hit it, at least the laser would provide him with another brief moment of light, so that he might take another shot; or if it came to it, draw his sword and slash the beast off of the poor fellow. -Skar
  9. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck Before anyone had even answered his questions, another being had come upon the group; this one was large, and was wielding a very large gun of some sort. He could easily see that this person was in a terrified state, and he was yelling the same questions at them that they had been asking themselves. If they didn't play their cards right here, they could all be shot to death by this guy- the others here had already bombarded him with their own questions, so he didn't bother to even speak to the poor brute (didn't want to confuse him any more than he already was). He sheathed his blade to avoid appearing as a threat, and gently raised his hands, as the being had demanded; if things got out of hand, he could probably make it out alive with a bit of help from his illusions. The group of people was growing larger by the minute, it seemed.. whether or not that was a good thing remained uncertain; if these people even wanted to band together was an entirely different subject. He believed in strength in numbers, especially in such an unknown environment as this.. he hoped the others felt the same. 337... was he really going to call himself that? It was all he had, next to this suit, the data contained in it, and this sword of his.. 337 it was then. Enough thinking though, they had a much.. larger problem on their hands. -Skar
  10. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck - Listening It wasn't long before he heard the shattering of other chambers. It seemed that he was not alone in this endeavor. Readying his weapon, he moved cautiously toward the noises; he realized how far he had strayed from his original point, and noticed a group of three, all conversing with one another. Whether or not they were friend or foe, he did not know; he walked closer toward the three, and eventually came into their line of sight. He kept his blade forward, and spoke to them: "Who are you? You look the same as I.. did you come from those chambers as well?" he asked cautiously, hoping for an answer. Maybe these three knew more about this ship than he did- at least, he hoped so. He seemed to be doing an awful lot of this 'hoping'. OOC: That's 819, 196, and 655 he's come across. -Skar
  11. IC: 337 - Personnel Deck 337.. that was his number. Was it just randomly assigned to him, or was he the 337th person to board this ship? Honestly, it didn't matter. He had just broken out of a chamber of sorts, and was now taking a seat on some piece of machinery that had fallen over. He had taken inventory of everything he had come out of the chamber with.. Number one, this sword of his, and number two, the suit. He was at least intelligent enough to realize that the suit was not a part of him.. plus the fact that it told him exactly what it was, and why it was attached to his body. Apparently it was keeping him alive, or at least helping to do so; it also told him all about this 'ship' that he was on.. as well as how to operate the basic functions of it. Another thing this suit of his.. 'told' him, was how to wield this blade at his side. He stood up, and unsheathed the blade, taking a good long look at the one thing that he had any real control over. It was strange.. it felt as if he had wielded it before; at least, that's how natural it felt. He wondered if this suit had somehow given him experience... highly unlikely. He couldn't help but wonder what had happened prior to his being in that chamber.. if he had even existed before it. In all honesty, it meant very little now; if he had lived before or after the chamber didn't change where he was right now. Speaking of right now.. he knew he was on a ship, and he knew that said ship was in.. mighty grave condition. He did not have the knowledge to fix it, only to use it.. perhaps someone else knew more than he. ... If there was anyone else alive, that is. OOC: Ending off this debut post so soon because of the limited interaction. Who knows, maybe by the time I post this, someone else will have posted as well. -Skar
  12. ID Tag: 337Gender & Species: Male Skakdi of IceAppearance: Quite a lean fellow, he is taller than most Skakdi, but does not lack in strength. It's easy to see that, in a fight, he would be quick on his feet. His body color is primarily blue, with some red mixed in here and there (almost in a patchy manner); one of his eyes is a bright green, and the other is covered over with some form of patch. His suit is pure black, and his helmet was shaped in the form of a Skakdi skull, with especially sharp teeth showing (it is fake, obviously). Power Suit: One notable factor of his suit is the fact that it provides him with a second eye- not literally, of course, but it allows him to see as if he had another eye. As far as his weaponry goes, he has a laser firing mechanism built into the right arm of his suit, and a razor sharp katana that he always keeps at his side. As far as his suit database goes, it has provided him with information on how to wield his blade, how to use the laser weapon on his arm, and how to use his unique ability of illusion. The suit has given him basic knowledge about the ship, enough to at least get around it, if not solve a problem or two if he came across one. Other than that, he knows pretty much nothing. Abilities: Outside of his abilities of ice, he has the power to cast powerful and convincing illusions; this is limited to one image/illusion at a time, but is able to be projected to anyone who can see it. Personality: Quite stern, and seldom engages in unnecessary conversation. He's rather curious- mostly due to the fact that he only knows his name, and how to wield a blade- but not to the point of stupidity. While he seems cold and harsh, he would never hesitate to save the life of an innocent, and is rather protective of those who cannot properly defend themselves. As to why that is, he isn't sure- but he is determined to find out, one way or another. (More to come, hopefully) -Skar

  17. OOC: Ghlist is open for interaction, if anyone was curious. IC: Ghlist - Just outside Ko-Koro - Taking a stroll You truly didn't know cold until you set foot in Ko-Wahi- the natives here had an inherent immunity to this harsh weather, at least to some degree. The same could be said for any Wahi that had a cruel environment, which most did. To the people of this Island, the extreme changes in weather in each Wahi made perfect sense. If you were to go to the border between Le and Ko, you would be stepping slowly onto green grass, and would find yourself surrounded by plant-life. One had to wonder how such a change could happen so quickly- most didn't worry about it though; a lot of people would never even leave their home Wahi. There were many travelers though, all kinds of people who moved from Wahi to Wahi, Koro to Koro. Ghlist had seen the rest of the Island many times; it was quite a sight, seeing all the various types of environments that made up Mata Nui. He didn't have a favorite one, but he stuck rather close to Ko-Koro, simply because that was where he lived as a Matoran, and also because he had a house there. He went where he pleased, most of the time, and tried not to get caught up in anything that dragged him around more than he was comfortable with. Ta-Wahi, the one that specialized in heat, was always one he attempted to avoid; if he needed to go there for one reason or another, he would, but if it was in his power, he would refrain from traveling there. It was hard to say what his life was composed of.. it was rather sporadic, but more often than not, he would find himself doing more of the same old thing; nothing. Part of him always wanted to go and be a part of something, but he always ended up deciding against it, as if he needed some outer force to drive him toward.. being-ness. Or perhaps it was just called life. He walked further and further from the Koro- there were no blizzards today, so it was perfectly safe to do this. Not like a simple blizzard would stop him from going anywhere; he was a Toa of Ice after all. He didn't know precisely where he was going, but he was going there anyway; perhaps he would find something interesting to do. There were pathways that lead out of the village and off toward the other Wahis (technically any direction lead to another Wahi, but these were the safe routes that everyone used to come and go), but he tried to keep away from those; he wasn't interested in changing the scenery just yet. Large, rolling hills of ice and snow were all that lay before him, accompanied by a few mountains that were around the Wahi. There was practically no plant-life to be found, seeing as how nothing could grow here; that was one thing that made Le-Wahi that much more foreign to him.. the entire place was a jungle, there was nothing but plants. He trekked onward through the snow, his feet leaving deep imprints in the soft, frozen water; he spied a mountain nearby, one that he had climbed before. He had reached the top of this mound of rock previously, but there were plenty of lower ledges that anyone could get to- places where peace and silence reigned. He shifted his direction toward the mountain, and decided that he would go climbing today. -Ghlist
  18. Gonna have to say 1/5 I don't remember many faces. I'd be astonished if anyone remember my name, haha. -Skar
  19. Good ol' Twillit Sporkul With an interesting mane design.. -Skar
  20. Name: Ghlist (The GH is not silent, and it is said just like it looks. Guh-list.) Species: Toa (Ice) Alignment: Neutral Good Gender: Male Appearance: His body is primarily white, but with black streaked across his body, as if it were scratched in. His eyes are a clear and bright blue, which always stand out from the rest of his body. He's normally seen wearing a simple cloak, and he prefers to keep his hood down unless he needs to hide his face. Weapon(s): Dual blades, both of which are kept at either side of his waist. He wears the Kanohi Volitak, mask of stealth; it has gotten him out of one or two slimey ordeals before, and is one of the fewer things that makes him glad he became a Toa. Powers: Ice, of course. Traits: Quiet, but not a recluse by any means; he speaks when he wants to, and to whom he wants to. Don't be surprised when he doesn't respond to you, or when he flat out walks away from you, regardless of the situation. In his Koro, he's seen as more of an outsider than anything, he doesn't seem to fit anywhere particularly.. as if he's made up his own imaginary world that he sprung from. He has his own morals that he chooses to live by, and sometimes these conflict with the moralities of other people. If you want to know him, good luck; It's entirely possible to be a friend of his, but in the end, it depends on who you are, and what he thinks of you. Biography: He never really wanted to be a Toa, but he was stuck with the 'responsibility' anyways. If it had been up to him, he would still be a Matoran, living a simple life in his Koro. But alas, the world did not care what he wanted, and he was chosen to become a Toa alongside five others. Needless to say, he soon left the group of Toa that he had been tossed in with; he went his own way, and abandoned all the ideals that he had been meant to uphold. Now this didn't mean that he took to the life of crime, and evildoing, it just meant that he no longer fought for the 'greater good'. Nowadays, he accomplishes his own goals, and does only that which betters himself (provided it doesn't get him arrested, of course). Sometimes he wishes he could be rid of it all, that he could live as a Matoran again; but he does enjoy the strength he's obtained, even if it has brought about a level of chaos that he would rather not deal with. Weakness(s): Ranged weaponry is quite effective on him, as long as the projectiles/whatever it is you're hitting him with move quickly. (Looks alright... now to start playing again.) -Skar
  21. The man in my avatar is David Tennant, just so you know. What's that he's standing in? Some kind of doorway it looks like.
  22. Well gents, it's been a looong time since I've graced this topic with my presence, hasn't it? Bailed off of this site months ago, and never looked back. Dunno why, I just did. Anyhow, hello. As Mermaid Man would say... EVIL! I had forgotten how short these chapters were... they seemed so long in my memory. Oh well, suppose that's just my faulty recall. Seems that you've kept your humor intact, MT; you gave me a chuckle or two in that chapter of yours. It feels nice to read this stuff again. -Skar
