  1. Is there such thing as a browser-based GBA emulator? I'm sure one could be made, but I don't know of any currently existing, and I'm really not about to make one.
  2. There are loads of sites that do roms without viruses (3 of wich are fully 500% safe). Then there are torrents, since good sites allow people to comment on the file you can see on them if anybody is shouting fake. A ROM is not an executable file, it has to be run in an emulator, so basic knowledge of computer software and a secure browser like anything but Internet Explorer should be enough to keep you safe. You would need special hardware.
  3. Possible? Yes. Likely? No. I actually ask him this at one point and he said he was not Deep Brick, not that that would mean much, but it's pretty unlikely Mark Durham would have had a copy. He also isn't listed in the credits anywhere.
  4. BIONICLE: The Game is on 2 CD's. From what you wrote, you have only CD 2, which contains some of the games assets that are installed when the installer asks you to insert CD 2. You will need CD 1 and the activation key found in the manual.
  5. If from the game, I think they would probably be concept art. I'm not sure if there is a complete digital copy of all the 2001 trading cards to check against, but perhaps this is where they are from? Most if not all of the other images appear on the trading cards. It kind-of looks like the simplistic CG images on some of the trading cards.
  6. These clips? 2001 2002 2003 If so, I don't think they were on bioniclestory.com, at least not when I backed it all up here. It's touch to say what a "beta tester" was in this case. Most likely I think they were internal testers, who may or may not have a copy.
  7. There's really nothing else it could have been written in, especially at that time. All other Windows LEGO games at the time were made this way and it's still what most professional Windows games are made with today. We also know that they were using Direct X's binary X model format.
  8. My best guess is the kill-z (the point at which the character goes down too far and dies regardless of any falls, which may technicaly be a kill-y) is set too high, possibly to accomodate other areas of the level. Impossible to say for sure without the actual game, but whatever it is I could probably beat it in a days work.
  9. What problems are you having? It downloads all audio files/music as a zip, but then opens to have no content. Not sure if it's an issue with the site or my computer, but I'm leaning towards thinking it's my super spastic laptop. Are you downloading them then extracting them? What OS are you using and what are you using to extract it with? Also, is the ZIP about 288MB in size?
  10. Keep in mind that LEGO will say something similar to literally anything you ask them for. They have to because of copyright and patent trolls. Could you put up a link to those? I haven't seen them. This YouTube channel has them all: https://www.youtube.com/user/MarkOfMoD
  11. Actually, if you consult your profile, there's now a tab that notifies you of somebody "liking" your post. This should work for other members as well, so you can see what other people "liked" about them as well. Nice! That should have been there all along.
  12. There isn't. The credits for the big names have unique backgrounds, but after that it's just plain backgrounds. I thouht it was worth staying for the music though.
  13. As for the first question, I believe the reason that's impossible (at least in part) is because LEGO doesn't own the full rights to the game itself; the rights are partially owned by some guy who I think some way or another obtained the rights to a bunch of Saffire's intellectual property at once after they went bankrupt. I also strongly doubt that LEGO has kept any real records of their dealing with Saffire all these years, plus fear of copyright and pattent trolls means that their legal team will doubtlessly say "no" to everyone about anything, unless you are also a large company with similar concerns. Yeah, if we get any real updates I'll post an update there. Myself and a few others are continuing to contact individuals who may have the game or information on it. Of course, if anyone has any leads, I would love to hear them. Something tells me our chances of getting the game from Deep Brick are extreamly low, I think we have a better chance of getting it from someone else. We do know that he is not the only one to have owned a copy. He was not a member of any fansite, at least not by this name. While it's likely he worked on the game, we do not know for certain what his relation to the game was. That's correct. Yeah, experience has shown that this is necessary.
  14. Too bad IPB doesn't give a way to see what posts are being liked/thanked/up-voted appart from crawling through your old posts. It would be a nice way to determine what people appreciate. I swear I said the same thing a year or so ago. Surprised there's nobody claiming the opposite as insistently as before. Anywho, I can't say I'll be using this feature much, but then, I haven't seen much on here to entertain my interests in a couple of years now. Maybe I'll be able to help encourage people to post the things I like.
  15. Honestly, I think the BIONICLE video games were pretty bad, even in the realm of video games based off of existing IP, which tend not to be as good as original concepts. The games were frustrating, and weren't backed by canon story. That being said, I absolutely think there should have been at least one more game, and there nearly was. From what I've seen of the cancelled 2001 video game BIONICLE: The Legend of Mata Nui, it's hard to imagine the game being worse than the 2003 game, and there was certainly enough time left before release to fix the major issues. Plus, it was intended to be the 2001 canon story line, something that wasn't attempted in subsequent games. Except for that game, unless significant effort and very careful and early planning were put into a game, and the gameplay wasn't based on TT's repetative and recycled engine which probably would not have happened after 2006, I don't think more BIONICLE video games were necessary.
  16. Same. Still, they should add beavers and lizards though. Oh, and never buy membership. Costs too much a year. Besides, 60 dollars for 1 year membership? Thats a rip-off. If only there were some way to use the internet in another country... Though personally, I lost all interest in the game after about an hour of closed beta.
  17. ...FineIF YOU INSISTBut keep in mind that by distracting from the glory of Bionicle Brain you have singlehandedly ruined this entire topicThis is now a thing that will be weighing on your conscience forever There's no download possibility on the second song! How can I get it? And, by the way, the Bionicle Brain... I wish I were deaf. :/ You could use the console or network panel in your browser's developer tools or use a website like this: http://offliberty.com/#https://soundcloud.com/limeparadox/bionicle-tour-2003-techno-mix
  18. Try right-clicking the executable and choosing different compatibility settings.
  19. Where can I get some? In MNOLG2 type in 'Kapura' and start goofing with the F1 - F12 keys. Are you sure the F1-F12 keys do things? I thought just the number keys did. There's offscreen buttons you can see by resizing the projector window that you can click and win or lose instantly. It's not visible on the championship, but you can press tab until it highlights with a yellow boy and press enter.
  20. In one sense, when Kopaka Nuva thought Pohatu Nuva died beneath a pile of rubble in the 4th book. I thought that was pretty well written and a little upsetting, even thought I was pretty sure he wasn't dead. In another sense, how Vakama Hordika went bad, it was just sad that Greg was forced to write that, it was so bad. Outside of the story, but on account of the story we haven't gotten to see, the cancellation of the 2001 video game. I'm still upset about that, especially knowing it may have been cancelled in part over something as absurd as video game violence.
  21. " Do you have an idea on when it will be back on? Within 2 weeks I hope. Maybe soon, as soon as today. If there's something you need, I found a URL you can use to get to the files above.
  22. It's current offline. The server is still the same but we don't have a domain pointing to it at the moment. Sorry it's taking us so long to get back online, we're working on it. We will be at a new, more appropriate domain when we're back online. It's not pretty, but you can browse the files here from this temporary URL: http://174.120.233.162/~tronec/bmp/files/
  23. We're hung up on domain transfers. Hopefully we will be back online soon. DCR's can sometimes be hacked together into executables, I've managed to do this for about half of the online Shockwave games we ripped. It involves splicing the bytes from one Shockwave projector's DCR together with another DCR of the same Shockwave version supplying any necessary Xtras and DLL's (depending on how the original projector was setup). It's definitely not perfect, of course neither is Shockwave Player, but when it works it works. Also, we have executables for MNOGII that should be compatible with any Windows, OSX, or Linux computer that was compatible with Flash Player 9-10.
