Yep, we do eat it - though not often. Take it from a true blue Aussie. You see a lot more kangaroo eaters than keepers. However, the red kangaroo is the only one worth eating - and most kangaroo meat is consumed in the Northern Territory. Best way to cook it is in a campfire - it stinks up the house otherwise. However, it's not a common food in Oz - unless you live out bush in the territory.
