  1. I really need these and there are no sellers on bricklink selling these pieces in pairs (except one but is charging alot for minimum purchase).I am willing to spend £2 for just these pieces plus packaging/postage. (which is alot considering the pieces at hand)thanks, I really need these to finish up a moc
  2. No, thats why he has feet additions. Kinda like wearing steel-toe cap boots Pohatu was dissolved and replaced? :PI presume you mean metaphorically speaking; that the presence of Onua angered you because he watered down Pohatu's abilities? If you mean that, I would remind you that it's a matter of personal taste, and you shouldn't be angered by it, because other people (like me) like Onua.I don't have a runaway all-time fave, but Kopaka and Onua are my faves. Onua's wise but shy attitude is something I identify the most with as a person (Kopaka's simply a little cooler lol). And powerwise I like that Pohatu can kick boulders while Onua is the digger. Both are cool abilities and I think they themselves would feel watered down if they were squeezed into one person. But perhaps you meant something else.NO! Just the notion of it!I mean, so many people over have said that pohatu as a character was unneeded due to his elemental similarities to onua! Pohatu has been my favourite character of all time (closly followed by kopaka), and his character was one of the more vibrant ones in the nuva/mata.
  3. what is this pohatu norris?? :PI did always like pohatu the best and was angered at the notion of him being dissolved and being replaced by onua as a character.I think a earth nova blast would be an explosion of dirt and mud, whilst a stone one would be a massive radius of stone pillars (kinda like an alkilini field) or simply an explosion of anything conceivable stone in the radius.
  4. um so when the set was announced it wouldn't give away that it was takua. Doesn't it seem obvious? not to ruin the movie
  5. same happened with me. But that brutaka situation up above is very odd
  6. this is great idea. I usually hate all the new name suggestions, but this is clever and fitting
  7. I though mutran's wings were the second best in posablilty (after antroz's) Boxor??? Thats was a set I would die for....maybe still die for!
  8. So that's actually a different color than the regular red? I've never been able to tell a difference between that red and regular Mata red.I have. On my gurahk, the back/face/feet it always looked shinier. Never actually though it was a whole different molding colour, just a molding issue with those particular pieces
  9. nice colour combos! I would however remove the ehlek spine. its a jarringly different shade of green.
  10. missed out the cons on the hollow hands :/
  11. I loved hewkii inika.... Anyway, mine would have to be toa mistika: Onua: Came from being the shortest to the outright tallest toa nuva. He became the sleekest most slender toa nuva for no reason. While his battering ram weapon was suited to his character (the only thing on the set TBH) he would have benefited with an additional melee tool. Tahu: Worst of the three. I actually feel that this (Coupled with the other mistika, kongu, hewkii and matoro mahri) was the worst comeback set of a character ever. The muscle-less thighs and biceps the odd, depressed looking mask lacking the trademark mouth, the fat stout body, the removal of a SWORD (his trademark style of weapon I feel) and the horrible mix of bright silver and dark-red. There is not one thing I like about that set. Gali:short, hunch backed and over bulky. I wouldn't have minded if she was black and labeled onua that year.
  12. flowyness? Please explain so i can improve in future
  13. I agree. I'd rather them keep it simple like another lego theme, than attempt to make it a continuing epic like bionicle.
  14. there was also the po-matoran plague caused by the comets on mata nui
  15. unfolding cannons=my best design evar!
  16. Yeah, I started with the cockpit seat, so I guess the rest was built around it
  17. Whoa dude this is fantastic!!! The custom legs are a thing ofr brilliance and the colour scheme is great to look at! The whole thing is awesome!!! 9.5/10
  18. This is actually quite and old moc of mine, though easily one of my best (I don't know why I never posted it here). I was never good at putting function and looks together though this may be my single exception. This is the MVT:ATV- Matoran Vehicular Transport: All Terrain Vehicle: To see the the functions in action I would strongly advise you see the video in the Brickshelf gallery. Its an old video uploaded to my YT channel, but only slight edits have been made since then and all functions have remained the same. The stopmotion isn't quite to my standards today either. Functions include: *Unfolding cannons*360 cab rotation*Cockpit opening Anyway Pics links (sorry for poor quality). I must say these pics I took yesterday, really don't give a perspective on the moc. It looks far better in person: Front Onipex within Random close up Wheels Back Another shot Cannon Folded away Cannons out Gallery
  19. toa mata nui without a shadow of a doubt
  20. Its so close but not the piece. The one you showed me has a pin hole not a cross hole. No matter though, I found it by changing the name to axle! Thanks bro. This topic can now be closed
  21. Could any one tell me the name of this piece. I need it in a moc but in black or gun-metal. Does it exist in those colours?: additional pic
  22. greg confirmed it relatively recently, waaaay out of the mata nui-arc
