  1. ⁂ ⁂ -----The alleyways of Makuhero City were perennially dark and dreary, as they rarely experienced enough sunlight to evaporate the water that accumulated from the downpours it so often received. In the city’s defense, its streets were hardly ever dry either – despite the best efforts from the Makuro Industries R&D team – so no one ever paid much attention to the drainage situation in the alleys. -----A lone figure in a three-piece black suit sauntered up one of these alleys, stopping about halfway up. He could feel the eyes of a dozen criminals on his back, but he had nothing to fear. That was just the paranoia again. Besides, even if they were there, he’d probably paid them off. -----Probably. -----“I think you wanted to see me,” he said. -----“He did,” came a slithering reply from the darkness ahead. “But as you are well aware, he does not speak directly with anyone.” -----“Except you.” -----“I’m in what you might call the inner circle, Mr. Caldo, and I certainly would advise that you not ask the wrong questions.” -----Mr. Caldo was experienced enough to not be surprised when people knew his name. “So you’re a lackey. Fine, I can talk to lackeys. But listen here – I didn’t wanna meet with this new kid on the block. This guy’d better know that to get some respect, you gotta earn it the hard way.” -----“And you’ve done that … how, exactly? By managing to be the only self-styled ‘head honcho’ that hasn’t gotten nabbed yet?” -----“I prefer staying on the down-low.” -----“That must be very low, then.” -----“Listen. I got clients in the suburbs that I gotta make happy, so tell me what he wants before I come in there and make you.” -----“Mr. Caldo, a true boss doesn’t have clients that he has to make happy. I know full well who you are. You work for the cartels, and please try not to say otherwise. You’re a hit man.” -----“More or less. Best in the business.” -----“He wanted to see if you’d work for him.” -----“Like you said, I … I work for cartels mostly. I’m not sure –” -----“If you’d survive if you quit. Well, that’s your fault. Risky business, getting involved with that lot. Most don’t make it.” -----“Do you promise protection?” -----“He makes no promises, save for information.” -----“Information? Who on?” -----“The heroes.” -----“That’s impossible. Do you think I’m stupid?” -----“It’d be stupid to turn it down.” -----“If I turned it down, I’d at least stay alive.” -----A brief chuckle emanated from the shadows. “Oh no, Mr. Caldo, you seem to have gotten it backwards. If you turn this down, you’d lose your life.” -----“Can I at least see who I’m talking to?” -----There was silence for a while, but not long enough to soothe Mr. Caldo’s nerves. He hadn’t remembered being this scared since he started down this path all those years ago. -----Soon, an outline appeared in the shadows, and before long, a full-fledged figure emerged into the dim light. He stopped on the other side of a puddle from Mr. Caldo. Though dressed in an imposing dark trench coat, his most striking feature was not his clothing, but his face – about two thirds of it was severely deformed. He’d opted to wear an eye patch instead of showing off his grisly eye, leaving its gruesomeness up to the imagination. -----“So, Mr. Caldo. Are you in?” -----Both men stood there in silence as Mr. Caldo internally debated the offer. There was no guarantee of anything in this line of work, so a great offer on the surface had to be dismissed – which was good, because Mr. Caldo did not know which one was the better choice. Mainly, he just had to go with which side scared him more. -----“I’m sorry. I don’t believe I can.” -----“Hmm. Pity. You should have taken what I said seriously.” -----“About what?” -----“Losing your life.” -----A shot rang out in the alley. Mr. Caldo collapsed face-first into the puddle, coughing up blood into its filthy water. -----“It was a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Caldo. Have a nice night.” ⁂ Review
  2. So today me (and some others) have found Videos of Hero Factory Invasion From Below. The videos shows all the HF (not the summer sets) from this year. 3. Hi, guys. We know that there are Bionicle video game existing but what about a Hero Factory one? Do you think that there should be a video game for Hero Factory? If so, what would you want the video game to be like? For me, I think there should be a video game for Hero Factory because I think the Hero Factory franchise is selling so pretty well that I think there should be a video game for Hero Factory pretty soon. If it would exist, it would be based on the Hero Factory storyline, there would be console versions of the video game, and I would like it to be like a combination of the Lego Minifigures video games, like Star Wars and Super Heroes' action/adventure gameplay and Bionicle Heroes' weapon-upgrading part of its gameplay. So, what do you think, guys?
  4. EDIT: Updated photos in this post! Caitlyn Gauss, a magnetism-themed Hero. She stands 12 inches (30 centimeters) tall and uses 168 pieces. Her skeleton is heavily inspired by this MOC of Christoffer Raundahl's which I reverse-engineered back in Spring and has been a work-in-progress for about that long, though it was Pate-Keetongu's Zero-Suit Samus that inspired me to rebuild the model (which I had scrapped for parts) and bring it to a state of completion. All images link to Flickr. Caitlyn has an impressive amount of articulation, as you can see in the following photos. Her shoulders, hips, knees and elbows can all bend well beyond 90 degrees, and she can even stand on her tiptoes. Full Flickr Gallery Since building her, I have swapped the mask for Furno XL's based on feedback from other MOCists, but I don't want to take new photos unless I make some more substantial changes. Anyway, thoughts? I'd really love to get as much feedback as possible because I certainly intend to continue refining and perhaps even completely re-imagining parts of this model. It's easily the largest humanoid model I've ever designed, and I'm sure that in the coming months I can improve it even further.
  5. This is my Revamp of Jet Rocka. I've built the actual moc in LDD. I also made a half built version in real life as well. The real life version is just to show the new functions that the LDD one can't show. .LXF file http://www.brickshel...ocka_revamp.lxf Gallery when public http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=537362 Changes from original set 1. Swapped trans green windscreen for larger trans clear windscreen. (Windscreen won't attach in LDD but it will in real life) 2. Modified wing unfolding gimmick. It also makes the jet engines move. 3. Changed handle to add stand so Jetpack can stand on its own when Rocka isn't attached. Stand folds up and extends handle to be held better. 4. Changed Rocka to be built the same as his bag set. Only things changed are removal of silver and both shoulders have armor 5. Zamor blasters can be moved up and down (Similar to LEGOJANG's JET NEX) 6. Red short beam handle replaced with longer blue one Real Life pics (Not actual revamp. Just to show functions) Front- Cockpit open http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_001.jpg Front- Cockpit closed http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_002.jpg Front- Wings extended (Wings can't be locked open. I just put a pin in a beam to hold it open for pics) http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_003.jpg Side- Wings folded http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_004.jpg Side- Wings extended http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_005.jpg Back- Wings folded http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_006.jpg Back- Wings extended http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_007.jpg Zamor cannon position 1 http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_008.jpg Zamor cannon position 2 http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_009.jpg LDD Pics (Actual revamp) Front http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_010.png Back http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_011.png Landing gear folded up when in flight mode http://www.brickshel...t_rocka_012.png Comments and criticism appreciated
  6. What I mean by this is... will we ever see Lego pour the same passion and, well, budget into a toy line that could make it take off the way Bionicle did way back when, at least when it comes to construction figures? Let's think about just how much Bionicle had going on when it began. Okay, so... you have the six main figures. All right, so we have our main heroes. Then you have the Turaga. Okay, now we have a source of exposition and myth-building, along with there now being twice as many masks as before. Then you have the "McToran". Okay, looking good! now the place feels populated. Then you have not only the main Rahi sets... but their combiner models. All right! That'll flesh things out a bit. But then, on top of the actual sets, there were the comics, the CDs that came with the figures, AND probably most important of all... The Mata Nui Online game. In my opinion, this is what made Bionicle what it was. The guys at Templar studios not only made a fun game, but they managed to squeeze soooooo much lore into it, and they did a great job fleshing out the LIFE on the island, really giving Bionicle its identity. I must again refer to the McToran, who came in so many crazy color combinations that you were always meeting new faces. And some time later, came another very important contribution... the master builder 15-in-1 rahi set. This was a potluck of all the animals that appeared in the MNOG, along with a bunch of new ones, and this, along with all the previous Rahi, their combiners, the Toa, The Turaga, and the Matoran just made Bionicle EXPLODE. It was more than just a toy line, it was ALIVE. And in the years that followed, we'd see other stunning places like Metru Nui come to be, but I don't think such things would've been as likely to pass if Bionicle didn't begin the way it did. Now, looking back... I don't think I've ever seen Lego produce anything else with that much life in it. Well, to be fair, they do seem to have put a lot of passion into Legends of Chima... at least in terms of its world, if not the writing >shudder<... but in terms of buildable figures, well... I think you can see where this is going. Okay, so, Bionicle- Toa, Turaga, Matoran, and a huge whopping pile of Rahi. Hero Factory- Heroes, Villains, a hover ship, and a motorbike. ...Compared to the former, the launch of the latter was kind of a step down. Granted, there was also a Hero Factory game, but all you really do in it is just shoot stuff over and over and over until the game itself loops. Aaaand then there's also the show, but... come on. Iook, I don't want to give anybody the wrong idea. I don't hate Hero Factory. In fact, I really LIKE it as a toy line (most of the time. Brain Attack was.... ugh), but I could say the same thing about Bionicle. I could say the same thing about the Slizers, and the Roboriders. No matter what name they go by, I'll probably always enjoy Lego's construction figures. But none of them will resonate with me the way Bionicle did. And that's not just nostalgia talking. When you bought a Bionicle toy, you were also getting this whoooooole world to go along with it. It was an ADVENTURE! Compared to it, Hero Factory's world seems so small despite spanning almost as many planets as a Ratchet n' Clank game. What I think made Bionicle resonate with kids of the time more than the Slizers did, and Hero Factory does now, is that it had a strong BASE. It had a great foundation to build upon, and that's why it sold, and GREW, as explosively as it did. Let's say it didn't have that... let's say it was just the six heroes, a few Rahi, no story, and that's it. Sure, the toys would've been cool, but the line wouldn't resonate like it did. It would be the same as the Slizers, Hero Factory and so on. Nifty toys, but that's it. For some reason, the guys at lego just don't seem to have the same drive for the toys they're making now that they did at the turn of the millenium. I guess Bionicle was the sort of thing that could only happen once, and that's what makes it so enduring. That said, I think it's pretty safe to say Hero Factory won't go on forever. And whenever it goes, I hope Lego doesn't give up on buildable figures altogether. Not only that, but I hope to one day see them produce something that once again has that PASSION and life injected into it, something that really leaves a mark. And contrary to the title of this thread, I don't want it to be a Bionicle clone... just something that could stand as strongly as it did.
  7. As the title above says, which of the Brain Attack events happened first before the others did? What I meant the Brain Attack events meaning the Brain Attack episode and Secret Missions books, Collision Course, Robot Rampage, and Mirror World. At first, HEROsector01 said that the events in the books happened first before the ones in the episode did, but later on, it switched them around: now the events in the books happened after the ones in the episode did. I am confused about this now. I mean, which of the events really happened first before the others did: the events in the episode or the ones in the events?
  8. Throughout the Hero Factory story, we noticed that there is a mysterious villain who is responsible for the Breakout and possibly the Brain Attack events. His identity isn't revealed, possibly yet. We are wondering who this villain is. For me, I think it is most likely Von Nebula because it's obvious that he always hates and wants to destroy the Hero Factory organization, I think that he obviously has the guts to do that, and in the very end of the second Breakout episode, his clawed arm is shown in darkness. I also think there is an explanation about this, and it is this: after he got trapped in his own Black Hole Orb Staff, he made a new plan to he hopes to destroy the Hero Factory successfully. First, he got out of his staff like a powerful battering ram. Then, he snuck past the organization like a ninja. I would think that he probably learned how to do that when he was a Hero named Von Ness (Aren't Heroes trained to adapt to their surroundings during missions?). Next, he used a spaceship to get out of the Makuhero Planet and hide in a rocky planet or moon, which is seen at the very beginning of the Brain Attack episode. He later found the Black Phantom and Voltix. He told them his plan. They agreed to participate in it. That's when Von Nebula started his plan. He pretended to be a completely different innocent being to trick the Hero Factory into placing his staff into its Villain Storage Unit by calling it through a connected communicating device tell them to place the staff into the room for more security and safekeeping, so Voltix can start the Breakout. Then, Von Nebula had the Black Phantom steal the plans for the entire Hero Factory for him. Black Phantom was trying to destroy the Hero Factory, but he was stopped by the Heroes. Von Nebula got the plans through his laptop, which is seen at the end of the second Breakout episode. He changed his body to almost look like the Black Phantom, which is seen in the very beginning of the Brain Attack episode, too, to probably become more powerful. He sent the Brain bugs to destroy the Hero Factory, which is also seen in the very beginning of the Brain Attack episode. The Brains caused the events in the main Brain Attack storyline and Secret Missions: Collision Course and Robot Rampage books. I also think that he will probably get involved with the new Invasion From Below storyline because I think he possibly told the Brains to create the giant hole in the Hero Building, seen in the Brain Attack episode, to probably somehow unleash the monsters, seen on the front pictures of the new, upcoming Hero Factory 2014 set bag packages, from underground to attack the Hero Factory, too, just in case they can't succeed in destroying it. I believe that the Breakout, Mission: Catch 'Em And Cuff 'Em, Black Phantom's takeover in the Hero Factory building, the Brain Attack events, and possibly the upcoming Invasion From Below events are all distractions on Hero Factory, so Von Nebula can have enough time to use the Hero Factory plans to create his own robot-making factory to create an army of evil versions of the Hero Factory Heroes to finally destroy the Hero Factory and possibly take over the galaxy and/or the whole universe. He will probably use some Anti-Quaza, which the Bkack Phantom has, to create the evil robots. He will also possibly get a lot of bad people, probably the villains that are still on the loose, to help him create both the factory and the robots, like the Hero Factory organization. I think Von Nebula would be like Makuta Teridax from Bionicle because of the way he plans and acts like the main villain in the whole Hero Factory story. Overall, that's my theory about the mysterious villain could be Von Nebula. So, what do you think about this, guys? Do you agree or disagree with me? If you don't agree about the mysterious villain could be Von Nebula, then who else?
  9. As the title says above, can the Hero Factory: Breakout game still be played now? For me, I started playing the game in the end of the second half of 2012 with my Dell computer, but I got busy with school work until today. When the Hero Factory website got rid of some things, including its oldest online games, in 2013, I tried to continue playing the game, but my computer can't allow me to log in. I tried to play the game in my brand new High Point laptop, but it didn't work for some reason. My laptop asked me what the problem, so I can report it. I did what it said, but I still can't play the game. Can someone help me? Do any of you guys have a similar problem, too?
  10. Like the title says above, who is your favorite voice actor in the Hero Factory media? For me, my favorite voice actors are the guy who voiced Stormer, the guy who voiced Furno up to the Breakout episodes, Josh Keaton, Charlie Alder, and Mark Hamill.

  12. Well in 2014 the Heroes are going to be minifigure size, so i like to know of what you guys think about the minifigures. I think there okay but they remind me so much of the Toa Mahri Minifigs and with the new villains also remind me of the Visorak.
  13. Hero Factory is starting to get some new weapon and i like to know, what is your HF weapon and why. My be the Plasma Gun and the Modification is that it can shoot green fire because it the only one i know that can be modified. My melee weapon is the Plasma Sword because i like to use a sword more then a gun.
  14. Alright, from the 1.0 to the 5.0 (Brain Attack) and whatever that one upgrade is, which one is your favorite upgrade in Hero Factory and why. My favorite is the 5.0 (Brain Attack), the new armor and helmets look great but the only thing i don't like is the new heads and some of the weapon look really odd (like bulk weapon) plus i love that they are still using the exo-force arm.
  15. If some of you guys didn't know, the pictures of the new 2014 Hero Factory sets are out and in my opinion they are not that good mostly "Evo Walker" and "Evo XL Machine", and the only ones that are good are the Villain, "Stormer Freeze Machine" and "Furno Jet Machine". Leaked images removed. -B6 Hope to see some feedback of what you guys think about these sets.
  16. For LEGO's Brick Your Pumpkin challenge, I made a quick Hero Factory pumpkin hero. His name is Jack O'Lantern and he ensures that everyone stays safe on Halloween and gets lots of candy. This is a little ridic and even though I rarely build with pieces that aren't System, this was really fun! I made the shoulder armor Bionicle masks, because you've have to represent. For the H, I carved it out, and then whittled away around the sides to make the H pop out in a similar fashion to the Hero cores.
  17. Have any of you guys noticed something suspicious about the Hero Factory TV Series? For me, I noticed that in every year, a number of episodes start to decrease. In the year 2010, there were 4 episodes. In the other year, 2011, there were 3 episodes. In 2012, there were 2 episodes. And finally, in 2013, there is only 1 episode, but it first came out in the Internet before it came out in the American television. And then, we heard that the Ghost Animation company is making a Hero Factory 22-minute TV special, which will come out in 2014. And also, we heard that there will be a Hero Factory live-action movie coming in some time, but it is just an idea because a company called Universal Studios is working to get the rights to make the movie. I'll bet that there is a pattern about the number of episodes decreasing every year, so I'll also bet that there will possibly be no episodes next year and/or so on in the future. Because of these thoughts, I'll bet that the TV series will possibly end soon, possibly in 2014 or a year after that, possibly because of TV special and/or the movie coming up. So, would this mean that the TV series will possibly end soon? If it does, I might become sad about it because I like the TV series a lot because it is cool and action-packed. (crying with tears of sadness ) And I think that it will possibly be like other TV series, Xialon Showdown, Transformers: Animated, and Sym-Bionic Titan, being ended this way. (still crying with tears of sadness ) So, guys, what do you think all of this?
  18. I'm looking to get my second ever HF set , and I was wondering if Breakout Rocka is a good one. It seems to be fairly rare these days, being one of the wave one Breakout sets, and they're pretty expensive on eBay. So before I buy it, is it worth getting over the more readily available and cheap Brain Attack Rocka?
  19. ((Click Thumbnails for Imgur Galleries!)) Hero Factory has always prided itself on its ability to capture dangerous criminals without having to resort to killing them, a feat that is typically stressed to new recruits and trainees. However, a small group of Heroes have taken issue with this approach and have deemed the execution of dangerous criminals to be the most efficient and easy way to protect civilians from crime. As a result, these dangerous few broke away from Hero Factory with the best training in the galaxy and a grudge against every Hero that chooses to remain loyal to Makuhero City. Calling themselves Anti-Heroes, these Heroes have been attacking Villains and Heroes alike with deadly efficiency. Currently numbering somewhere around ten, the Anti-Heroes, despite being small in number, are bolstered by their dirty and vicious tactics and brutal, unforgiving equipment and weapons. Despite this, they have the same goal as heroes, preservation of the peace and protection of civilians, they just go about enforcing this peace in a slightly more violent way than the Heroes do. Blood Raven The cunning, dastardly leader of the Anti-heroes, one cannot deny that he does not have good intentions, despite his frowned upon method of attaining these goals of his. He begrudgingly respects the Heroes for their devotion to the, in his mind, flawed morals they cling to, and carries the weight of his choices with him literally and figuratively. Knees damaged in a fight with Archangel, he's forced to wear heavy, gunmetal leg-guards to shield and protect them from further damage. He, like the Hero Sophia, utilizes a claw, the main difference between his and hers is that his lacks the plasma channeling hers utilizes so frequently. His main weapon, however, is a very deadly, very illegal shredder Shotgun that can very easily dismantle a hero in little to no time. Black Thorne Blood Raven's loyal second-in-command has followed his leader without question since he broke away from Hero Factory. He was a close friend of Raven's and apparently shared his friend's doubts about their chosen method of dealing with Villains. Quickly trading his tasers for quite lethal golden wrist weapons, Black Thorne is the person Blood Raven deploys if he needs someone to disappear very quietly, never to be heard from again. He, like Blood Raven, also carries battle scars due to the Anti-Heroes' inferior funding and inability to easily replace parts; he lost his right hand in a scuffle with Hero Thomas Trace, but was able to escape before Trace was able to apprehend him. Especially lethal due to his training as a prototype 3.0, his armour is laced with a chemical that, when an electrical current is ran over it, can reduce his density allowing him to literally phase through floors and walls to reach his target. However, direct sunlight spoils the chemical reaction, thus only allowing him to activate the ability when in the shadows. Enigma Alpha Enigma Alpha is a rather strange case, and a very new development in the Anti-Hero situation. Alpha is the Anti-Heroes' first attempt at building their own hero, and, using parts and quaza they were able to steal from Makuhero City, they were able to successfully construct a powerful follower. In his large, powerful hands, is housed a technology based heavily around the magnetic field technology in Hero Sophia Errant's claw. However, instead of merely holding plasma in place, Alpha is able to manipulate anything made of metal and within his mental reach. He's able to lift entire Heroes off of their feet with this power, with the only catch being he can only concentrate on one item at a time. This makes him weak against crowds to a degree, but Heroes are often caught off of their guard by having to fight someone using one of their own as a club. ((Comments and Criticism welcomed!))

  21. To combat these rogue Anti-Heroes, an elite team skilled in suppression and non- lethal combat was formed to capture and bring in these now-criminals. They are known to other cells as the Counter-Insurrection Team. Verke Garrison, AKA "Archangel": The renowned leader of the Counter-Insurrection Team, Verke is, for all intents and purposes, a walking tank. Thundering into battle with reinforced legs and armour plating, very little can take Verke down once he's deployed. His shoulder-mounted suppressor Rifle is adept at disabling enemies at long range with a powerful concussive shot designed to cripple rather than kill, while his immense strength and blade arm is more than fit at keeping enemies at bay at close range. Due to his large size and less-than-stellar mobility, Verke requires a thruster pack on his back to allow for rapid bursts of speed when in the face of danger. Thomas Trace, AKA "Trace" The stalwart second-in-command of the Counter-Insurrection team, Trace was a seasoned veteran before being taken out by enemy explosives whilst on a mission with Verke and the now AWOL Blood Raven. The explosion effectively destroyed his Hero Core and Central Processing Unit, resulting in the complete loss of his personality and memories. However, the chassis was salvageable, and was promptly repaired and refurbished and loaded with a new Hero Core and personality. This new Trace, literally a ghost of his former "self", is a master at using his dual pistols to dispatch and disable enemy units without doing to them what they did to him, his wrist blade a good fall-back at close range. Sophia Errant, AKA "Knight" Sophie is the undisputed close-range expert on the team. Able to go toe-to-toe with the most dangerous, lethal Anti-Heroes and come back without a scratch on her, Knight is as driven a woman as her blades are sharp. Despite being the shortest on the team, nobody would dare question her ability on the field, and her armament somewhat helps with that issue. Her right hand is a claw that has reserves of plasma that can be channeled along the inside of the blades with the assistance of a magnetic field that makes dispatching of enemy weapons and armour child's play, while her right hand typically has the hilt of a quaza-draining blade clenched tight in it's grasp. Loaded with weapons and blade primarily designed to take down other heroes, Sophie was designed after the first group of Anti-Heroes rebelled, and designed with taking them down in mind; this leaves her rather outmatched when having to face Villains rather than Anti-heroes. Halley Malestrom, AKA "Cain" The newest recruit to the Counter-Insurrection Team, Halley is somewhat of a Renaissance Woman; intelligent, powerful, fast, and skilled with a wide variety of weapons, she's quite proficient at nearly anything she sets her mind to. Her skill at close-range with her saw-blade shield has earned her a rivalry with teammate Sophia Errant, however, Sophie's claw fries Halley's shield every time. Despite this, her shield is still a remarkable piece of engineering that, when struck with energy-based attacks, can actually charge Halley's Hero Core in the middle of battle. Her firearm, a rapid-firing suppressor Sub-Machine Gun, can unleash volley upon volley of stunning shots can can pierce light armour for copious damage to underlying joints and structures. Sammy Spark While not a member of the Counter-Insurrection Team per se, Sammy has been invaluable to the continued operation of the team. Having constructed all of the team's weapons himself, he's an invaluable engineer and, despite his short and stout stature, is valuable on the battlefield as well. His pistol is a prototype weapon that uses electromagnetic pulses to drain his enemies' energies, softening them up for his teammates to capture. His claw arm also possesses this ability, with the added function of charging his own hero core, much like Sophia's blade. Despite his ability to fight, he rarely does so and is typically sent on repair and maintenance missions, and only sees combat on missions that require his technical expertise. ((Sammy's design is based heavily off of a design I found on Tumblr courtesy of Tumblr User Cabooceratops, I simply modified it slightly to accommodate a Hero Core on the back. Comments and Criticism welcomed!))
  22. I found something about the HF parts, when i gotten frost beast i look at the new armor on his chest and shoulder, then i went to get my Strakk shoulder armor and the HF part look a lot like a updated form of Strakk shoulder armor. I also found that the breakout Stringer look like a updated Gali Mistika shoulder armor. I don't know if LEGO meant to do this or did it on accident but i find this awesome to see some of the HF part having a updated part of Bionicle to fit with there new system (but still find the Skeleton system annoying) So do any of you guys thing that Lego is updating Bionicle parts to fit in with the HF system.
  23. Title says most of it. I'll admit, I don't like this wave of HF that much, and prefer to think of it as not existing. The sets strike me as ugly for whatever reason, the story seemed really flat (we're fighting brain creatures until Stringer turns bad, could have predicted that), and the online game sends you around in circles. I do like the name though for it's meta properties (this is what happens when you try to inject brainy mystery into a different story, ha). So what do you think of it? Is this particular wave flawed compared to previous waves? An improvement?
