Infernal Lord - via World of Warcraft
Ptah posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsHowdy, I wanted to share a fun build I made. WoW's latest expansion, Legion, came out and its plastered everywhere, buses, billboards, and my Facebook feed. Drawing inspiration from that and using parts from my Storm Beast, Skull Scorpio and some Creature heads, I came up with this: an Infernal Lord. I think I'll keep it for a while. I hated the Skull Scorpio and an Infernal is more of what I thought we'd be getting with the Skull warriors, skeletons powered by dark magic. Enjoy, https://www.flickr.com/photos/141514055@N03/albums/72157673899595276 Here's a screencap of an actual Infernal for comparison. https://www.flickr.com/photos/141514055@N03/29640153452/in/album-72157673899595276/ Suggestions and comments are always welcomed.
Okotian Demon Scorpion
Clavis posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsThe Skull Scorpio has gotten some flack for lack of posability, abnormally large tail, etc., so I decided to start designing a new scorpion creature... thanks to some spare parts and a "certain" Star Wars set I purchased today. It's color scheme should bring back some nostalgia for Generation 1 fans. So here is the newest creature to be cataloged from Okoto... The Okotian Demon Scorpion! Named for its gigantic horns, this large creature roams tunnels and caves in the Region of Stone. During the day, they come out to feed by burying themselves beneath the desert sand and striking with their tail and large hairy forearms. Their typical prey are Skull Scorpios. Thanks to their massive mandibles, they are able to crush bones and absorb the calcium from them. They are very aggressive and territorial and will often attack any villager that stumbles into their way. Although rare, they are known to prey on villagers, but only when starving. When attacking larger prey like villagers, the demon scorpion can lift its upper body and attack in a centaur-type fashion. Even a Toa would find this creature a challenge. The poison from its tail causes its victim's body to heat up which causes dehydration from lots of sweating. Villagers of Fire have some resistance and take longer to dehydrate, but the venom seems to affect their biology as well.
Lord Spyder posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsGENTLEMEN...BEHOLD! I have created...THIS THING! It's Lord Tirek from MLP, as shown in his latest incarnation in FIM. I was trying to balance out aesthetic with functionality, but somewhere in his construction I had to sacrifice a great deal of articulation in order to keep him balanced with his size. As such, the waist isn't as flexible as I originally intended. Also please forgive me for having terrible photography skills. Tirek's waist Tirek's Face Tirek's Sorcery Horse Body KNEEL BEFORE TIREK (SOME) Waist Articulation Better quality Image of said articulation More Horse Body
AuRon the champion posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsThe current version of my Self-MOC. I uploaded the video yesterday. On that one site that you can't say the name of here and can't link and also has cats with poptart bodies and have rainbows coming out of them.I'm pleased with him, I like the skinny body, the 'back' that replaced the 'waist' and his lower body. And weapons. And Rapture.http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/343640This time I made sure all language doesn't exist windrider, I swear! =O
Onewa7 posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsAnother MOC... I wanted to make a Titan so much. So I tried. And it turned out as a winged Demon. I would have used Mutran's mask but I don't have it, so I tried a similar-looking face. Its name, Siath, comes from "sciathàn", the Irish word for "wing".MOCpages linkC&C welcomed.
Onewa7 posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsMy latest MOC is from a tablescrap made with the Phantoka connector pieces. I decided this tablescrap was too good to waste and added red pieces to make a demon slug-like alien who grows from ground like a plant and eats people. I named it Quoxun (random name, just wanted to use the letter Q since I haven't used it yet). It's also my first use of Furno's helmet.BackEvil grinOther angleWhat piece the eyes really areThoughts?
AuRon the champion posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsMy latest, and possibly greatest MOC, Tabaris, the Demonic Great Being!Linkage (to da max!): http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/326023This is possibly one of my greatest MOCs, and it was on the most popular section of MOCpages for a bit! I'm really proud of it, and I finally got rid of all those orange pieces!Comments and positive feedback are wanted!
Onewa7 posted a topic in Bionicle-Based Creations"Spoiler: one is gold, one is orange, one is a Makuta, and one is a mecha."So, the Makuta MOC is this one. The Demon Makuta. King of a demon army in a volcanic land long, loooong ago, in the shadows, when the universe was still a WIP, when Matorans didn't exist yet. This land will later be named Karzahni, by the way.Click on the pic for gallery. He's got a whip for disobedient demons. And yes I managed to put the Fire Throwbot visor on the Kraahkan. Thoughts?
Orka posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsMy friends, it is time again for another one of my MOCs, this one a bit larger in scale. Presenting, the Fire Bull. Whereas Kaantoe and Matiguyed were simple, Fire is somewhat of a complex build, especially for me, but I'm hoping that underneath the complex exterior you'll be able see the core of this piece. Whatever that means. I'll leave the final judgement to you, the viewers. http://i357.photobuc...r1996/Bull2.jpg Inspired by the previous quadrapeds of the Bionicle franchies, such as Spinax, Fire is a step above those frail builds with what can only be described as a "big boned" body-set. Upon closer inspection, any observant viewer will note that while there is some meat on the limbs, most of the weight and mass is centered in the upper torso, making some positions awkward, but generally contributing to an overall stable frame. http://i357.photobuc...r1996/Bull3.jpg Despite a quite antimidating frame, Fre Bulls are for the most bit docile, or at least apathetic to their surroundings. Possessing innate telepathic and telekinetic abilities, early inhabitants of Xia believed them to be demons due to their telekinetic powers. http://i357.photobuc...r1996/Bull4.jpg When substantially threatened, the Bull forgets its relaxed ways and rears up on legs. It's back legs not used to carrying the generous load of the Bull, the sight would be quick comical if you didn't have a huge bull running at you. http://i357.photobuc...r1996/Bull5.jpg The main sign of a Bull's health is it's mane-like sprout of hair from the back of it's head. Bulls will spend an average of two hours each day preening their mane in an attempt to get a mate. http://i357.photobuc...r1996/Bull6.jpg Despite usually being quite territorial, Bulls are sometimes docile enough for Matoran to approach and rest on one, during which the Bull will protect the Matoran as if they are one of it's young. Enjoy!
