Here is my dilly-o. I am at the point where storing pieces in large bins has gotten annoying. So I decided after Christmas I will invest in storage drawers of different sizes to hold my Bionicle, CCBS and Technic pieces. I was wondering where would be the best place to buy these, what brand, and what sizes do you all use? I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction, and I thank whoever will help me. I was also going to probably have to figure out how many drawers are necessary. can you guys also give me pointers?

So I finally got around to downloading the Pokemon Bank last night. I had been telling myself that I would do it for awhile, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. (Thanks to being an adult. ) It feels great now having a place to store all my Pokemon from Omega Ruby and Y that I want to save. Particularly the Legendary Pokemon from the 20th anniversary event going on this year. Though the release of Sun and Moon had a part in me finally getting the Bank, the main reason I got it was because I kind of want to replay Omega Ruby again, but not lose my event Pokemon when I started over. (Or any other Pokemon that I might want to save.) And of course, whenever I do get Pokemon Sun, I would like to eventually transfer my Legendaries over that game as well. I might even replay the original Red, Blue, or Yellow too, just to get some Pokemon out of them as well. It is a shame that you can't transfer items as well, but I can understand that restriction. I'm just glad I have a way to save my Legendary Pokemon from being deleted whenever I started over Omega Ruby. Because losing them after all my time spend on collecting them would've mad me really sad. But that's all I got to say about this. Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone!

When I moved on to primarily CCBS-based MOCing in 2015, I sold the vast majority of my G1 parts, only keeping my masks, some select armour and weapon pieces and a few of my favourite G1 sets. Since then however, I've started collecting more of my favourite G1 sets to keep - a few which I previously owned before the 2015 purge, and a few I've never had before. I've even started collecting Slizers sets, hoping to eventually end up having the entire set. Currently, the vast majority of my G1 collection is in pieces. Each set bagged up individually and archived in a big white box, so I can build them again at a later date for display. Four Roboriders, three Slizers and my Exo Toa however are stored - again, in pieces - in their original packaging. Currently, only Roodaka, Millenia Slizer and three other Slizers stand built on my shelf, as these are the most recent additions to my collection and I want to have them out on display for a bit before I go ahead and archive them. I mostly do this archiving business as I don't have much spare space in my room - my one shelving unit is already dominated by MOCs and books, and every other surface in my room either has storage or electronics on it. I could put up more shelves on the wall to the side of my bed, but they'd likely cover the entire wall and make things look messy. Maybe I'll be able to have all of my sets out on display when I move out on my own? So anyway, how do you store your Bionicle figures? Do you archive them like me? Are they all jumbled up in one parts bin? Or are you lucky enough to have them all out on display? EDIT: Apologies if this has been asked lots and lots before. Hey, I guess this is better than necroing an old thread, right?

Exactly what it says on the tin. How do you store your Bionicles? Do you have them all locked up in a glass cupboard, in cool poses? Do you stuff em all in a couple of boxes? Do you keep your MOCs built long enough to even store em? As for myself, I have various ways. I also divide my sets and my MOCs. My sets, the ones with canisters, get stored in their canister, in a couple of boxes (With a couple of exceptions). Larger sets without canisters (Or 'Titans' as I call em) get put into a single box, and smaller sets (ie, Turaga, Matoran) usually get put into a canister of someone who matches (ie, Turaga Vakama with original Tahu, Rahaga Boomonga with Hordika Whenua, you get the idea) Miscellaneous sets, usually ones that are canistered, but I acquired without a canister, simply go into a box. As for my MOCs, since they are all pretty permanent, they get sent into boxes for each army (Though technically speaking, a couple aren't really armies, just groups.) A couple of lucky MOCs will get the pleasure of standing on my bookshelf, collecting dust, And as for the remaining bits of leftover parts, they are stuck in a container, waiting to get used. There usually isn't too much, for if I can build a figure, I will, regardless on looks. I will get some pictures up of all my stuff soon. So, enough about my collection, what about yours? Toa Han

So I found a random jewelry case in a freebox at a garage sale, and decided to use it for this. Please don't hate on the fact that it's supposed to be used for jewelry, I think it's a creative idea, and a good way to organize my ammo. I stuck the launchers that wouldn't fit in the drawers on the hangers in the side doors, and all the other ammo and launchers in the 7 drawers. :)If you're wondering why I stuck those few non-transparent Zamor spheres in with the midak skyballs, it's because they match better with them IMO, but I know that they aren't actually Midak ammo...Front: http://www.brickshel...t_full_view.jpgLeft Door; Multi-shot Zamor Sphere Launchers and Midak Skyblasters: http://www.brickshel...b/left_door.jpgRight Door; Cordak Launchers and Nynrah Ghostblasters: http://www.brickshel.../right_door.jpgDrawer 1; Kanoka Disks and Launchers, Tridax Pods and Launcher, and Nynrah GB Ammo: http://www.brickshel...__and_ghost.jpgDrawer 2; Rhotuka Ammo and Launchers: http://www.brickshel...Cab/rhotuka.jpgDrawer 3; Cordak Ammo: http://www.brickshel...-Cab/cordak.jpgDrawer 4; Squid Ammo and Launchers: http://www.brickshel...e-Cab/squid.jpgDrawer 5; Zamor Spheres: http://www.brickshel...e-Cab/zamor.jpgDrawer 6; Midak Skyballs: http://www.brickshel...e-Cab/midak.jpgDrawer 7; Thornax Balls and Launchers: http://www.brickshel...Cab/thornax.jpg
