T.B.O.C
For those who aren't familiar with the subject, BIONICLE had promotional trading cards way back when. Although after 2002 they tapered off and vanished, 2001 (mainly) and 2002 had cards. My question though, did the three deck sets cover all of the cards (besides the Rahi Challenge extension) for the 2001 card series? Likewise, did the three decks of 2002 constitute the whole line, or was the Beware the Swarm McDonalds promotion another set of cards to obtain? I've been thinking about buying some decks and I was wondering. BS01 offered some insight, but I was wondering if anyone else here knew. Thank you! northmarch
As proud owner of all Three Mata decks, and nothing else, I can tell you that The Mata decks did not contain all of the 01 cards between them. In fact apart from the character specifec cards (mask, turaga, etc) all three decks were identicle with a lot of doubles. Many cards including all foil variants could only be obtained via booster packs. There was also a separate promotion for the foil character cards. The Rahi cards I belive were a separate set of booster packs to the regular Qftm packsThe bohrok, as I understand follow the same rules as Qftm with the Maccas cards being intended for a uniqu version of the game and therefore exclusive to their own promotion

Naota Takizawa
Maybe trading cards couldn't work with the bonkle universe, who knows. Bluest-of-Jayys
Considering how old they are, I think it'd be pretty hard to collect them... if you try, though, good luck! Where are you searching? I think I'd want to get my hands on some cards myself... I love TCGs Quote WHAT'S UP, BUTTERCUP???

Do you still have it? If so, can you confirm whether card 197 exists? I have been looking everywhere for it, but can't even find a photo...even an online gallery i found skips right from 196 to 198...

I have been looking everywhere for it, but can't even find a photo...even an online gallery i found skips right from 196 to 198...The general consensus is that 197 was never printed - I've yet to meet a single person that has one. Same goes for the tournament prize cards (T1 and T2) - they're advertised on tournament posters, but if they actually exist, no owners have come forward.
