Naota Takizawa
Has anyone ever found bootleg sets that have unique or useful pieces? A few I can name include that General Grievous set with those 4L tan shell pieces and those bootleg Iron Men. Quote If you like Pingu & want to support a good project, click here. Petewa
Nah, parts in bootleg sets tend to break easily. Quote Mataru Nui, an Interactive Adventure
Click
I actually ordered both the Grievous and Iron Men and would fully recommend them. The parts are great quality for bootlegs (though still below TLG's), the prints are well-made, and the tan, dark red, and dark blue are definitely worth it. I haven't had any problems with broken parts, though I have noticed some strain on the joints, as they are much tighter than TLG's. One other set I've been interested in is a set of HF mechs similar to that Breez Polybag Lego released. The best part about it is each one comes with recolored Protector feet in blue, lime, and white. Ta-metru_defender
Bootleg!? Heresy! Unless, y'know, that's what you're into. You do you, man. I just figure they don't fit as good as actual Lego.
