ToaDume
I keep hearing details about a special version with an extra story line in it. This Implies that their should be a normal version without that extra piece. Literally every version of this comic I’ve seen though has that special extra piece. Are there two versions of this comic or not?
TuragaNuva
I was confused about this for a while as well. Evidently the "normal" version of the issue still said "Special Movie Edition" on the outside. Are you certain the ones you've seen actually have the extra pages, or are they just labeled "Special Movie Edition"?

Those have been present in every version I’ve seen.

You can see them in the version archived on BMP: http://biomediaproject.com/bmp/files/gfx/Comics/Bara Magna Saga/Comic04/Bara Magna Saga 04.pdf 1

I’d heard that that link had the extra pages, but I opened it and saw the first pages were the same, and just assumed the rest was too. Thanks for your help. It turns out none of them had the special pages. Bummer.
ToaDume
I guess now I have to start looking for the real special edition version =\
Master Inika
I didn't even know this existed, either. Now I need to find one. Quote "You are an absolute in these uncertain times. That’s very neat! It’s interesting that there are a few differences from the scene in the movie, like the Vorox carrying its weapons, and Mata Nui saying more words. Daler99
Where were the “special edition” ones found? Was this the only comic with an extended edition other than issue 2002’s #8? Quote ~Daler
emily
the extended version was given out during some early screenings of tlr. Mister N
I just checked my Russian version of BIONICLE #4 and it has one "new" page compared to the extended version, but without Vorox battle scene. It is the standart version of the comic, am I right? Spoiler

I guess they took out that page and the ad pages to fit in the four new pages. Mukaukau Nuva
A bit of a lark, but this reminds me of some of the old Yu-Gi-Oh! DVDs billed as "Special Editions" containing "two 'Bonus' Episodes." To date, I've never encountered any version of those that excluded the so-called "bonus episodes" Cute to hear Bionicle actually put out an actually exclusive version of this.
