This is a drawing I made for

Taka Nuvia's birthday (which I completely missed. )

I decided that I would try to give the drawing that inked look which is why its shades of black and white. I wanted to really focus on the wings with this drawing which is why it was drawn at the angle it was at. This was all drawn in Gimp (I don't think I've ever uploaded a picture that wasn't made in gimp...), and took about... 10+ hours? The wings and mask took the longest time.

Anyway, C&C is appreciated.

Can I say, "um, wow?" Those wings look terrific. Although I think the smudge near Takanuvia's eyes is supposed to be mascara, not look like she is crying. It struck me as looking that way, not sure if that was what you were going for.

I'm wondering how you managed to replicate Taka Nuvia's style so well whilst still retaining your own aspect to it.

Meh, I wish I were as good with ink as you are with gimp. Seriously, it's amazing! And it looks sooooo fantastic.And those wings!I love this so much. Thank you! =D

I don't see anything wrong with it; actually I usually draw it the same way x3 I might have chosen a troublesome pattern for underneath the eyes, for sometimes it simply looks like tears...

Wow, it looks very "inked". Not easy for on a computer.One thing though, somehow the face just looks a little...Well, a little not-so-Taka. But maybe i'm just used to it being in chibi format. x3Anyway, great job!
