It's a convoluted thing you can look up on the internet. We all know that the opposite of a camel is a camel made of antimatter.

The origins of the word 'alphabet', come from the fact that it was created as a result of the first wager ever recorded in human history. A man was bet (at odds of 7 to 1) that he could not name all of the currently existing letters in ten seconds first try. The man had subtly prompted that this bet be made, and had prepared ahead of time by composing and memorizing a song containing allthe letters of the current alphabet. He then sang the song in only 6.4 seconds, and won the bet.NOTE: The above has occasionally been disputed by 'historians'.- 55555

It helped, of course, that the man's name was Ogg and he happened to be using the Neanderthal alphabet, consisting of the letters thud, whack, and bang.

The above 'fact' is actually disputed by scientists. :PThe average human consumes about 2 picograms of Radium a day.Marie Curie used to keep Radium in a drawer near her bed because she liked the glow it gave off.Marie Curie died from leukemia caused by keeping Radium by her bedside. Her husband, Pierre, did not die from radiation poisoning. Instead, he got in a street accident, crushing his skull.William Shakespeare did not exist. His plays were masterminded by Francis Bacon in 1589, who used a Ouija board to enslave play-writing ghosts. (Portal 2 reference!)The Space Core from Portal 2 was based off of an Oregon aquarium commercial which involved a wide-eyed goldfish repeating that he wanted to go to the aquarium.

No it isn't, it's an anticamel. Anticamels are the precise opposite of camels. Also, due to the anticamelical nature of antimatter, their humps are inverted, so they really do store water in them.

No, a soap dish is that little thing you hold soap in. An anticamel is exactly what it says on the tin.

An anticamel wouldn't be made of antimatter, because it would have to behave like a camel, therefore, it must be a soap dish. And now for a few odd facts. There are stars that are cool enough to touchScientists have successfully created antiheliumI have no other useless facts at the moment

But a soap dish is more perpendicular to a camel than a true opposite. An anticamel would, by definition, be both made of antimatter and the direct opposite of a camel.

No, because opposites are inherently dictated by the things they are the opposite of - hence the relation between opposites. A soap dish is, as you yourself stated, a completely irrelevant thing, bearing no resemblance to either a camel or an anticamel. To be a perfect opposite, there must be a direct relation between the two, though that relation must be due more to antithesis than similarity. An anticamel is inherently antithetical to a camel, therefore it is the perfect opposite of a camel. A soap dish is completely unrelated to a camel, and is therefore a perpendicular opposite of a camel, but many perpendicular opposites exist, while each thing can only have one perfect counter-thing.

Nope. The soap dish is perpendicular, the anticamel is directly opposite.

Octopi have a hole in their brains because the throat passes through there. Wouldn't that give you a headache...

Not really. While the brain can tell the rest of the body its feeling pain, it has no nerve endings so cannot feel pain itself. If you had a convenient hole in your head I could poke my finger into your brain and wiggle it about, and you wouldn't feel a thing.Oh, and its octopodes, because it comes from the Greek rather than Latin :P

The same can be said for many things. Antimatter-based lemacs are the true opposites of camels.Besides, camels can be in moist places - they just have a knack for dealing with dry places.

Andy Fox has been known to hate golf. But then who can blame her? Originally the word "GOLF" was an acronym for: Gentlemen Only; Ladies Forbidden. Which of course is not the case today.

CHTrilogy, that's false. Source In fact, quite a few "backronyms" are examples of false etymologies--that's possibly the most common type, in my experience.~ BioGio

Golf was also very popular along higher class females in the 1890s-1900s.

Popular with high class females earier than that too. Mary Queen of Scots was supposed to have enjoyed a round or two while Elizabeth I had her imprisoned

Considering that Teddy himself had a pet badger, things like this really just don't surprise me about that family anymore.
