He isn't very considerate at times... if he has an opinion, he blurts it out, regardless how other people think. I for one think my comics, D709, and several other series of comics are worth reading.

Really though, there's barely anything in the comic forum that seems enjoyable to me. I occasionally go and just look at random topics, read a couple of comics at random, give things chance - but I just end up reading and seeing the same thing as before. Nothing very distinctive. Nothing to get me hooked.

I don't find anything either, but some people do.

Seriously, Laughin' Man has his own opinion. I think he has every right to say what he thinks. =)

I guessed I missed the memo where it was stated "if some people like something, you can't say anything negative about it"?

 

All I said was that I have found nothing there worth reading, and others disputed my opinion angrily. I gave my reasons - albeit in sort of a broad, general way instead of getting into specifics, which may have been a mistake on my part - and people continued to rage over what I said.

 

And it's sort of surprising that people are so into these comics that they'll go nuts over any negativity expressed toward them.. As a former comic maker myself, I endured and accepted the opinions of people who, like myself nowadays, believe the forum has declined in quality, I didn't dispute them on it.

 

I'm not going to apologize for anything, because I did nothing wrong - I merely stated my opinion. That's what it all boils down to, and that's what it is. An opinion is an opinion is an opinion.

Heh, when I said I don't like HF people were raging. I guess because people don't like me. But that was what I thought, just like you think what you think. You should think about those peoples feelings.

And I don't know why I said that about HF... d;

There's a strong difference between dislike and brashness. I can say I dislike something without being disrespectful. It's very easy, actually. However, it's easier to just state your opinion and disregard how other people would take it in. Also...

 

None. There's nothing in the Comics Forum worth reading.

 

...doesn't come across as "I don't see much worth reading." It comes across as you're saying that all the skill, time, effort and ability put into the comic forum is completely wasted and ruined and nothing there, nothing at all is worth reading. There I can be sure you're wrong.

I think you guys are just complaining for the sake of complaining now.

 

Oh, and keep in mind.. I'm me and you're you. I act like me, not you.

And it happens we are all people, and sometimes should act like people.

Who here isn't acting like a person? People are different, and so we act different. Simple.

Y'know, who's right or wrong here doesn't make a difference to me. All I know is that making a blog entry simply to "call someone out" and basically advertise to the world that "HEY THIS GUY IS INCONSIDERATE" is perhaps even more inconsiderate than "There's nothing in the Comics Forum worth reading."

 

That's my two cents.
