  1. Shot 2 No Flash Once a protector, now a malevolent beast that attacks all that come near it. I always loved the concept of a figure meant to protect and guide others replaced with one who does the opposite- hence this massive build of a G2 Ultimate Dume, using the Tower of Toa Kiril. I ran out of pieces for the legs, so pardon the gorilla arms!
  2. Contest entry for The Legend Continues. Click Me!
  3. I love how soft the strokes are! The volume you got with your brushwork is really great and detailed, with some great metallic textures!
  4. That's some hyperbole, there. I'm pretty sure stone breaks and cleaves just fine.
  5. Ah, the esteemed work of postmodern art known as the "Skull Trumpet" of Memes. Its deconstruction of dooting is phenomenal.
  6. Hey all, The prints I am selling on B/S/T are on sale for one more day! This would be a great time to pick one up if you haven't already. http://www.bzpower.c...cle-print-sale/ Thanks for any support you can give! A reminder that the pictures in the thread are real-life photos of the prints, and if anyone wants to see the original digital images, I can supply them via PM. Feel free to message me with any questions! -Orion (Haecceity)
  7. Imma f A diminutive of the female given name Immacolata. robit impf (dialect) to do The mouth, eyes, and nose are based on the proportions and measures set out by the Marquardt Beauty Mask's angles, but modified a bit to fit with my own ratios.
  8. Is Harold Reese a person of interest, or is that where the quote is from? They're both italicized, so it's hard to tell.
  9. A dish of flattened rice (poha in hindi) served with turon! Delicious!
  10. Stone endures until hit with a sledgehammer or rock saw, until stressed on a cleavage point, or until it is eroded by the tireless actions of time. I can't say it doesn't break.
  11. I'm still selling prints over in B/S/T in this topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/23185-generations-bionicle-print-sale/ Prints are now priced at: $13 individually and $20 for a set. This flash sale ends 12:00 PM Saturday, September 10th EST, so don't get left out! Thanks for any support you can give me as college starts up again. -Haecceity
  12. Night of The Hunter! A great film with a lot of excellent atmospheric shots, intense contrast, and well-crafted cinematography in general.
  13. As we all know, the most important adjective in the English language is "Snazzy"! All other descriptors bow before its sheer might. They are useless against its vast cosmic power. All will perish on the day of Snazzying. There will be no survivors.
  14. Takanuva wishing Soran would stop wishing Takanuva would call him Soran and just give up already. ...While standin' in some cherry blossoms or sumthin'.
  15. Hey, I'd love to do some more Toa, but with my current schedule, I don't have the free time to invest into making more until I sell a few prints. It might happen, though... Thanks, man!
  16. These are primarily drafted in Adobe Illustrator, with base color applied there. Additional color and painting is mostly done in Adobe Photoshop. Thanks for looking!
  17. College is starting up, and I just got hooked up with a Lenovo IdeaPad Y700. It's okay, I guess. I've been spoiled by my workstation. I'm selling some prints over in ye olde B/S/T if you wanna take a look... They're nice, I think. http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/23185-generations-bionicle-print-sale/?do=findComment&comment=1087818 Hoping to get a design position for the campus radio station, interviewing for that soon. Playing a lot of Shin Megami Tensei IV, replaying Sonic Adventure(DX), and generally working on stuff for my role-playing party game, Johnsonville: Cutthroat Capitalism. Also working on a suuuuper secret project. Whether it pans out will be interesting... But honestly, it all boils down to a lot of waiting.
  18. As far as low-price mics go, I've used both the Samson Meteor Mic and the Blue Snowball mentioned above. I'd look into both and see if you can find them at low prices (I got my Meteor for $50, Snowball for $70.) Blue does offer a stripped down "lite" version of the Snowball, the Snowball iCE, which can be significantly cheaper. It does not feature pickup pattern settings, however, making it more akin to the Meteor. The Meteor and Snowball iCE are mics with cardioid pattern pickups, meaning they pick up sound primarily from the front, less from the sides (but still some) and even less from the back. The regular Snowball, however, has a few patterns you can switch, which result in audio pickup in other directional patterns. As always, though, it comes down to what you feel comfortable paying for, and what you prefer. Good luck!
  19. Wait! You're not done... with... this? ... ...this means nothing to me. I had no preconceived notions of this particular topic. My world is shattered.
  20. Hello, everyone! As we all know, G2 has sadly come to an end. In commemoration of the entire BIONICLE saga, I've decided to offer this series of two prints as my contribution to its legacy. Each print is 10 inches by 10 inches or 25.4 cm by 25.4 cm. They are printed on Kodak Endura Metallic and mounted on 50pt matboard. All prints are signed by the artist on the back for no extra charge. This Kodak paper is a favorite of mine- both because I'm from Kodak's home turf (Rochester, NY), and because of its incredible responsiveness to lighting changes. While they are mounted and fairly sturdy, you may also wish to frame them to protect the print. Each print is $15, unless you are buying the Generations Set. Payments should be made through Paypal. I will provide you with shipping costs once you give me your address. PM me if you have any questions or concerns. Prices: GENESIS (2001): $15 FOCUS (2016): $15 Both (GENERATIONS SET): $25 GENESIS: $15 USD Print One is a rendering of Tahu (2001)'s Hau, entitled GENESIS. (Photos of print) FOCUS: $15 USD Print Two is a rendering of Tahu (2016)'s Mask Of Fire, titled FOCUS (Photos of print) Q: What do they look like on a wall? Thank you for looking at my prints! -Haecceity
  21. I'd like to offer a series of (Bionicle-related) prints of my own work in B/S/T at some point. Would this be allowed under the forum guidelines, as they are not LEGO products, but are LEGO related? Thanks in advance.
  22. I'm not here to offer another post-mortem report on "what LEGO should have done" or use this news as an excuse to belittle and castigate G2. That's been done enough already, it seems. I am here to extend a parting eulogy to a line that had the guts to retell a beloved storyline, the prescience to make functions in sets relevant again, and the boundless enthusiasm of a new line cutting itself its own space. That the potential the reboot had was quashed so early in its lifetime is nothing short of tragic for me. So I offer this small gratitude once more to the line that last received such a statement from me in 2010... Thanks, G2.
  23. Thanks for the compliment! Personally I never was the biggest proponent of a more human analogue with Bionicle stuff, but it felt like it fit in this case.
