We could block the gates like Hafu did.

Um...If I recall, that didn't exactly help them for more than three seconds in the Bohrok attack. "Aha! We have blocked the gates! We are victorious-"*Tahnoks burn through the rock*"...Well that didn't work."Now take into account that instead of Bohrok we have Rahkshi, who even if they do ignore the gate they can just levitate over the walls. Assuming, of course, they aren't dumbed down in the RP...then again, Nuju Metru describes them as having the power of "two toa combined"...I don't exactly consider that "dumbed down"...So yeah, don't forget the flying/gliding. "Why...me? Oh yeah, that's right. I'm weak. I'm of a minority, a minority of people with a common trait: we hear too much. And what we're supposed to hear hurts to hear. When I'm alone in a silent room, I can hear a pebble dropping from a mile away. I can hear a motor boat being started up several yards off the coast. A whisper from outside, I can hear as if they were talking right at me. An explosion in another koro, I hear as if it's just outside. Sounds useful, right?"

"Wrong."

"It's a curse, if you ask me. The same pen dropping inside this aforementioned silent room would ring in my ears. If I stood by the same motor, I'd get a headache. The same whisper would ring in my ear like two metal beams being slammed together in front of my face. The same explosion would render me deaf for years...thank the Spirit I thought of getting me something to dampen the noise, or I'd end up like the rest of my kind..."

I don't think that these ones are going to be as bad as the ones from the movies. Those were probably worth three or four Toa.

So in the end, everyone is playing defense and waiting for the Maru.

Not if I can help it. But I still need some toa of the green, crystal, Iron and a bargeload of matoran to have everyone needed for my plan.

People, I announce to you a new Dovydas production: How Perkahn and Grochi Doomed All of Ta-Koro In Its Entirety To Eternal Torment. (By Accident)

Critics say it's gonna be spectacular.

I don't imagine the Rahkshi are going to differ in power levels from the Movies.

I don't know...the Power Screams could be heard all over the island. It could just be a dozen stage 4-5 Kraata screaming, but a level 6 could easily be heard all across the island. And considering the Movie Kraata were level 6 (I think)...we're gonna be Makuta-bones.

Current (still-living) BZRPG Characters:
LITOZEN (Toa of Sonics) SANCHII (Toa of Air)
THENTYLE (Toa of Earth) MALKAN (Ta-Matoran)

CELITE (Turaga of Lightning)

This is probably Makuta's last battle(assuming the good guys win), so why wouldn't he send out his best and most powerful?

Just doing a quick crash-course in Rahkshi powers. Assuming there's at least 2 of every type in the 100-strong armies...yeaah...I'm in trouble. At least Litozen is if he fights a Vacuum Rahkshi. Hunger is devastating, A Darkness Rahkshi would also render any Kualsi users vulnerable and well, let's just pray if there are any Sleep Rahkshi that they aren't level 6.

So in the end, everyone is playing defense and waiting for the Maru.

Uh...not that I doubt the capabilities of the almighty Maru...but the villages are kinda, y'know, spread out over several miles of varying climates. The Rahkshi are kinda attacking all at once, and at this rate it'll be awhile before the Maru manage to win the ultimate battle against Terridax, assuming they beat him at all.I don't think they exactly have the time to beat 'ol Terri and travel from koro to koro to wipe out all the Rahkshi without them destroying at the very least two villages. I'm gonna send the Fowadi to Ga-koro then, perhaps they can manege to keep a few lillypads floating.

We must not wait.

We must take a stand. For our island! For our homes! For our families!

It's a distinctly high chance that we will lose. Heck, it's practically impossible to win. Heck, this would take a freaking miracle to win, but we must not wait for the Maru. They will not save us.

We must fight back. No matter how hard these battles might be, but we cannot afford to wait. For all we know, the Makuta might just be waiting for the Maru to get ready to deal their final blow, when he would turn these Rahkshi against us, a final act of vengeance.

This must not be allowed. We must do the only thing that can save our friends and family! Nerds, geeks, and all other subcultures that comprise the membership of the BZPRPG: unite! We must break the Rahkshi siege!

Which is why some of us are already planning defense strategies for the koros.

Speaking of which, we still need several more Stone/Earth/Iron and The Green toa for Le-koro's defense. Anyone got any more toa they'd like to sacrifice volunteer?

Edit: *golf-claps* wow, Dovy, just wow.

[insert loud and thunderous motivated applause]Alright! Bravo, chap, bravo. I just have one tiny question: What the karz are we Ga-Koroans going to do about these guys? *motions to Toa Daedra and the Valkyr literally eviscerating people at Nokama's Pier* We're not exactly in the best condition to deal with a horde of Rahkshi, and if anything these guys are going to team with the Rahkshi. Nooooot a good day to be in Ga-Koro, if you ask me.

...So how about that Fowadi Voyage? Everything going ok? No rush, just a hundred Rahkshi standing outside the gate while we tear each other apart after finding out that we've been the instrument of a conspiracy and almost destroy the village by our own doing. Offshore artillery could help, but no rush...no pressure...just...well, we're going to die...that's not good for our health...Soooooo...yeah.

They've got Nokth, Mila, Mussiki, and Marfoir.

They're k.

Oh, wow.

That'll be a big difference against a 100 Rahkshi, Blokface :sarcastic:

We're in trouble. With a three-to-one ratio (What it takes to take down one rahkshi), we're about 700-1000 PC characters short. With NPC military, about 200-400 short.

This is going to hurt.

Dov and Eli vs. Rahkshi: go.

-Dovydas

Not sure if we should treat these things like extra-tough NPC's or not, but when you take into account how much respective practice both of these fighters have, and how many Rahkshi there are...

I'm just going to do that.

That's by my reckoning. If we put three toa against one Rahkshi, which usually means that the three will be able to kill the one rahkshi easily, and we have about 1,200 PC characters right now, that means we're about 700-100 PC's short, but that's without a plan, or including NPC miliary forces and equipment (Ussals, Gukkos, etc.)

With a plan, and NPC forces, we'd be (sorta) even.

which usually means that the three will be able to kill the one rahkshi easily,

Not unless you get a good surprise.

This is all dependant upon the amount of characters/ types of masks/ element/ number of toa in each koro/ battlefield/element of suprise...

Basically, there are too many variables for that statistic to stand for long. But it's a rough estimate of the amount of forces needed to crush a Rahkshi army in a no-suprise, flat battlefield battle.
