Kanakalackin
So I just brought home Protector of Stone, and to my surprise, he has some black flecks in one of his pieces. You know that really pretty trans-light green/clear fire piece that he comes with? Mine has some black flecks in it towards the base. I'm not too bothered by it (not nearly as bothered by it as I am asymmetrical Protector masks), I'd just like to know if this has happened to anyone before or if it's just me. It's only in one of the flame pieces. Reference pics Quote I have an Instagram page where you can see these pictures and more like them! Just click HERE! Tarvaxx
It hasn't happened to me, it's an oddity for sure. I'm not sure how that would have happened though.
Cwog
Absolutely no idea. Have you tried washing it with soap and water?
Rahkshi Lalonde
if they were on/in it from the moment you opened it, and provided they don't rub off or wash off, i'd hazard a guess and say you have a rather rare case of harmlessly defective piece. it's probably some sort of impurity or pollutant that got caught in the mould. :0
Lyichir
I've truly never seen this before. While this is a minor issue, you might want to alert Lego customer service about this—not only are they likely to send you a new piece free of charge, but in doing so you could also help ensure that this issue doesn't become worse or more widespread in future production runs. 2 Quote Formerly Lyichir: Rachira of Influence Aanchir's and Meiko's brother
doodleloot
That actually looks pretty cool. Wouldn't mind finding a defective part like that myself. Quote Hail Denmark

Hellyam
As far as I know, your part shouldn't have those black specks. I'm reiterating here, but just call Lego and you'll get a replacement part free. Nidhiki of the Shadows
Huh, that's weird. Haven't seen anything like that so far. Well, mistakes happen. I have solid blue Zamor Spheres from Matoro Inika, for example. -NotS
