First it was the Ghostbusters Ecto 1 project, and now it's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the same series, also created by Brent Waller. We're already getting a minifig version of the Stay Puft Man in LEGO Dimensions next year, so it will be interesting to see if the project passes review to give us a larger version as well. While I'm sure they make up a large segment of the supporters, keep in mind that anyone can vote on a Lego Ideas project, regardless of their age. Many AFOLs would be in the age range where Ghostbusters was what they grew up with, like Back to the Future. It seems fans of the 80s love LEGO Ideas.
