Well, I succesfully drove the 680 mile round trip to Grove City and back without having any nervous breakdowns! A first for me. Interview went well, and hopefully I'll no in the next two weeks where I'm going to school!
So, I was in the BZPRPG long ago, and uh, needless to say, it didn't go well. I'm not a very good writer, or storyteller, two very vital aspects to TBRPGs. So my question is: How much bearing does a members writing skill/ability have on your interaction with that player? One of the main reasons I never re-joined, other than time, is that I felt embarrassed by my posts. When you put my awkwardly worded rambles next to some of the works of art of other RPers, the difference is obvious. So
Rumors are going around that Valve is working on a gaming PC designed to optimize Steam performance. Obviously, it will be a huge success. Followed by an enormously hyped 2nd version. Then they'll spend forever working on the third.
So for those that missed it, some interesting things happend in the background of last episode. Lyra, sitting weird, wishing she had hands. Lyra was just waiting for Bon-bon. Who happens to have a knapsack with a lyre clip. Derpy has a muffin clip... ...and derp'd eyes. So many good easter eggs. It's like they're trying to make up for The Last Roundup.
Such a good episode. The animation seemed really good for this one, like they were trying out new things. Iron Will might be my favorite almost-antagonist.
So I was been digging up some of the more classical piano pieces I have lying around my house, when I stumbled across Arabesque No. 1 by Debussy. And it is one of the most beautiful pieces ever put on paper. Plus it has plenty of rythmically intersting pieces to keep the more techinical minded interested. Anyways, you should totally go look this up and listen to it. It's beautiful.
So, I figured I'd share my opinion on the Derpy phenomenon. It's perfectly understandable to be upset over the decanonization of a fan-favorite character. It's perfectly understandable to send e-mails to Hasbro stating your dislike in their decision. It is not okay to rage about how Hasbro is ruining MLP for us. This is perfectly within their rights as a company, and is completely understandable. When a company recieves complaints about something, especially something someone has found offensive
In other news, I got some serious homework to catch up on. Hopefully I'll finally finish this lab that's taken over two weeks. Freakin' stupid RC circuits. Soooo... yeah. That's about it. Kinda boring. But we're almost in the optics portion of my Physics course! You know, the stuff that is pretty much my career choice. no biggie.
Well, the snowboarding season is officially over for me. Took a few bad falls, and ended up dislocating my right shoulder, Anyways, list of things I can do now, that I couldn't do last year. Get a rampless grab. (so much fun!) Do a rampless 180. Do a nose-roll. It's like a 180, except instead of jumping, you put all your weight in the front foot, and lift your back foot off the snow. And there's the list of tricks I picked up this season.
Just got back from a two day ski trip. Totally exausted. But, I finally saw A Friend Indeed. I think my brain is broken from the Pinkie-ness. Since I'm too lazy/tired for screenshots today, here are my favorite things that happened. Pinkie thinks in flannelgraph. wut. We see Pound and Pumpkin again! Rainbow reading another Daring Do. *squee* Great episode. Very glad I wated to hear Smile Smile Smile.
May be one of the greatest episodes ever. Ton of screencaps, so buckle down and get ready. The horror! The horror!! What in the world kinda special talent gives you knives for a cutie mark! The rest of the CMC seem... apprehensive of Sweetie's idea. A lot to cover in this scene, let's break it down Bon-bon and Lyra, enjoying a lovely Hearts and Hooves day chat. Bon-bon appears to have duplication powers, and is using them to cheat on Lyra. For shame. This is the second time in this episode Co
I wasn't expecting so much dash, and I certainly wasn't expecting no Fluttershy. Not sure whether I should be excited that I'm so radical, or upset because I'm apparently Flutter-rage.
Whie driving through my neighborhood at night, it seems like every single car has their brights on. Why? Do I really need to feel like I'm in a J. J. Abrams movie every time I want to be out at night? No. The answer to the previous question is no. Stop it.
