In every topic that relates to your personal opinion of a set, one person seems to come up with the excuse that "such-and-such isn't true BIONICLE." Why is this? Because some people are so insistent upon having sets follow tradition that they have to make excuses for why the present is not a criterion in the future's tradition.
I'm not trying to discredit the topic starter in particular, but rather the whole illusion that "some sets are more BIONICLE than others."

It is apalling that the 2008 sets topic has been closed. This is a blow from which I am not apt to recover anytime soon, given that my schedule rarely allows the casual browsing of forums.

Recently (or really not-so-recently, but whatevs) someone discovered that the German bio for Gresh on BIONICLE.com called his weapon a "Jungle Shield" (actually something more like Dschungelshield, but we all know what it means translated). The BS01 Wiki rejoiced to have an actual name for this weapon to replace the article's previous name, "Razor-Edge Shield".

I'm trying to make a Bionicle music video on Windows Movie Maker (I know it's cheap, but what can I say; it came with the computer), but I can't find a way to save the movie footage I need to my computer. I admit that I myself believe in many of these pairings, such as Takanuva+Gali (still love that Greg made her the first one Takanuva asked about in Dark Mirror, Onewa+Krahka, and Jaller+Hahli. I discovered today that it's really easy to make a clean edit from the posters in the "Downloads" section on BIONICLE.com. I discovered it rather fortuitously, having copypasted some hi-res Mistika and Phantoka pics from there with the intention of making some generally simple edits. You know, a quick negative and then a complete hue reversal, which in essence kept the colors the same but swapped the light and dark areas of the original image.
