Click
Okay, I haven't really posted anything for a while here, so I thought I'd quickly finish up an idea I've had for a while. As soon as I saw Tribal Art, I just really loved the style of it, and a while ago, I made the connection between the Mata Nui Island villagers and the Tribal Art, since they are at least partially derived from the same places that Tribal art originates from. So, I just make a quick version (as in the Pakari took me half an hour!) of what I think Tribal Mata Kanohi could look like. Maybe later, I'll make the Turaga's Kanohi, but for now, enjoy:I'd say my favorites are the Kakama and the Kaukau, and even though the Pakari took me forever, I still don't like it much. And, if you have any comments, I would love to hear them, and so I can work on my tribal skills. Obviously, this is my first time drawing that particular style, but I think it turned out good for a first. So, what do you think?Oh, and if anyone would like Avatar versions, I would be glad to throw those together. Just a thought. FrozenFlash
Even as tribal art, I like how some of the details are still there. I also really like how they look like they're carved into wood. My only complaint is that the Pakari eyes look a bit too big. It's funny how it's "bulging" though . Great job on this though! The 1st Shadow
Not bad. In fact, all of them look superb! My favorite is probably either the Hau or Miru. Nice work!
