I can't believed they topped their own trailer less than a week after the first. This movie's gonna be so good. Also next time someone asks me to do something I'm totally singing 'No' to the Batman theme followed by beat-boxing.

He doesn't actually shoot anyone, but he does blow stuff up. Which would still end up killing them anyway, just not directly. Alfred at one point indirectly calls Bruce out for becoming so cruel, so maybe it's intentional. Or maybe Snyder just doesn't get Batman. As I said, it's not a great movie. But it still has other stuff that's good, like the actual Batman/Superman fight and the brief-but-cool Wonder Woman scenes, and I don't think it deserves a 30% rating.

I saw Batman v Superman today. I've always liked DC, but their movies haven't really wowed me like Marvel's have. It was pretty good, but not great. I get where the criticism is coming from, but a 30% on Rotten Tomatoes is way too harsh. I'd give it a 7, maybe 7.5 out of 10. The cast was good, so I still have hope for Wonder Woman and Justice League to turn it around and give Marvel a run for their money. Speaking of Wonder Woman, I'm just gonna put her theme here because it's pretty awesome.

Now that the trailer for The Lego Batman Movie has dropped, what other character and/or franchise do you think would make for a good Lego movie?

I like a trailer that can get me hyped without spoiling the entire movie, and this one does the job. I'm curious to find out how much the other members of the Justice League will be involved in the movie, because I can see a lot of comedic potential with some of these characters. Can't wait to see more.

FYI the Target version has more bonus features, but if that doesn't interest you, go for BB-8.

I think they meant the first stills from The Lego Batman Movie, and not stills from the first Lego Batman movie. Anyway, this movie is going to be so ridiculous and awesome and ridiculously awesome. Will Arnett was great in The Lego Movie, and I can't wait to see an entire movie about his Batman.

I've already done four 'Penny Thoughts' posts, but I have no idea how to do another without possibly reviving a blog fad. Also I would say not to use this post to start another one, but that would inevitably start another one.

The main character from the last show/movie you watched is fighting the last character you played as in a video game. Which characters are fighting and who wins?

It was interesting playing through Twilight Princess HD, considering how long it's been since I played the original and how it seems to have garnered a less positive reception in recent years compared to other Zelda games. Having now beaten it, here's how I think it holds up. Pros The gameplay is as good as ever and evolves nicely from The Wind Waker. Combat is quick and satisfying, and the controls are easy and responsive. Using the Gamepad to switch items or check the map on the fly is really great and helps tremendously in dungeons. The dungeon design is great, with interesting puzzles and a good sense of progression. The story and characters are some of the best in the series. The characters all have personality, and many of them have actual character development. Midna in particular is probably the best helper character in any Zelda game, and one of the few to have her own character arc. The story also stays interesting, as you travel Hyrule and learn the truth about the titular Twilight Princess. Cons This game has too much filler and backtracking between dungeons. For example, here are the steps to get from the second dungeon to the third: It's not all bad and it gets better once you get to the Master Sword, and I realize it helps the story progress, but it can get really irritating if you just want to beat dungeons. A lot of the items from the second half of the game are pretty limited in use, and are rarely useful outside of their respective dungeons. The game leans too heavily on Ocarina of Time. The woirld, enemies, and dungeon progression all mirror Ocarina, and can make certain elements too predictable. And about the ending... Others The graphics look really nice and are much sharper and smoother than before, but they don't look as good or as transformative as The Wind Waker HD. It looks like how you remember it looking, for better or worse. The Wolf Link amiibo is really well-made, but it doesn't add much in terms of gameplay. Overall, I still really like this game and recommend it if you want a Zelda game with a great story. But if story doesn't interest you and you just want gameplay, you should probably look elsewhere (I recommend A Link Between Worlds in that case). Also I didn't mean to go that long with the filler section wow.

Marvel has a good enough track record that even if it doesn't live up to the hype, I don't think it'll be a bad movie. But it always helps to keep your expectations in check.

Granted, now Skee'lo is bye. I wish Captain America: Civil War was out immediately.

I had a feeling that that would be the image you linked to. It feels like after the first season, the censors just gave up trying to stop Hirsch from putting whatever he wanted on the show. I know if I was 7, this show would've really creeped me out.
