Ok, here's a mystery I heard about yesterday. It was a real event that happened in Africa. Only recently have scientists figured out what really happened. In Africa, near a volcano, there is a village that lives near a volcano-crater lake. Everything was pretty normal until 2,000 people, all the animals, bugs, birds or whatever else just died one evening. The vegetation wasn't hurt, the buildings were in normal condition, and there were only 6 survivors. Some of the victims have burns on their skin, but nothing on their clothes. The survivors reported smelling gunpowder, rotten eggs and surfer. They also reported an explosion sound from the lake. At the same time, the lake nearby turns from clear to bright orange/red. Obviously, this bring scientists from around the world to see what happened. Everyone assumed the volcano was the culprit. I mean, they live within a few miles of it. But when they got there, there were no traces of sulfur anywhere. Not in the air, the lake, the victims, the plants, the ground, anywhere. Nothing out of the normal. When they tested the lake to see if there was a volcanic burst that shot out fumes or something, it was clean and slightly cooler than average. Volcanic burst would have superheated the lake. I'll post the answer at some point. What do you guys think happened? Xidash

Oh man, what a fun movie. Jackie Chan strikes again. Very fun, cliche'd but done very well to make it funny, and some pretty awesome moves from Chan. Overall, pretty fun movie. It is on Netflix on demand, jsyk. The basic plot is that Bob (Chan) is dating his neighbor under the identity of a pen salesmen. But really he's an undercover spy. When one of the kids he's babysitting downloads a very important document, the bad guys show up and Bob has to protect the kids while convincing the kids to like him. Xidash

So yeah, this is a personal animation series that I'm working on. It's not gonna be too fancy and is probably going to be long periods between episodes because of all my other projects. But whatever, it looks like it could be fun in my spare time (once I get the main multimedia computer back). The basic concept is this: Mic is a borderline OCD professionalist who likes things perfect and clean and orderly. He's stuck as a roommate with Tim, who is somewhat of a slob and somewhat intentionally says words incorrectly, just to bug Mic. They both have a crush on one of the neighbors Jen, but she's completely oblivious to all their flirts. They all live in a skyscrapper apartment complex. Mic and Tim are on the top floor, which is the cheapest because there aren't any elevators in this skyscrapper. So that's the rough concept. Anyone interested in this?
