Cosmic Titan

IC: SakrinilVim's internal struggle boiled over as she walked down the street. Lightning exploded from her body in every direction as shadows covered the area around her.Her mind was no longer able to handle two separate personalities. This caused a strange reaction in which her powers were rapidly fed into her mask. But this didn't solve anything as neither personality was willing to leave the body and go into the mask.After a short time of this her head and mask exploded, as most of her body was turned to ash.A headless, damaged suit of armor clattered to the ground.

To be able to read and write. Most of them are not write to win. You can help move the story along but you don't have to. You can write as a minor character if you want to. Just enough to be able to pay attention to your characters and maybe some important plot points.

Returning from the dead and being immortal are two different things.

But where do you stop when taking out powers? Do you just take out elemental powers and masks or do you take away physical powers like natural extra strength or speed? Bionicle is a story of superpowered biomechanical beings. Taking away their superpowers takes away from the story. But again this is an opinion of my own so I can't force anyone to see this the same way as I do.

I was watching Sjin of the Yogscast play it earlier. It looks fun.

Well I could but every once in a while I get a character that I actually want to keep. And I had a planned Makuta character planned for Goodbye Innocence but that RPG didn't win the contest.I wasn't saying no fighting in an RPG. I was thinking someone could decide they want to write for a character that doesn't fight or something similar.I see powers as part of the character. But it's just my opinion so that really doesn't affect anyone but me.

IC: IztriliadorSabbia woke with a start. Fear gripped his mind and he looking around rapidly observing everything. He then heard the voice."Release me! I am not your toy or pet. I am a soldier! Release me now! Or do you wish for my wrath? I'll gut you, rip out your entrails and shove them down your throat!" He bellowed in a fit of rage. For in all his years never had he failed so miserably. Never had he been captured. Never had his rage not been sated.He grabbed his dagger and lunged at the nearest wall.IC: ???Earlier in the week Candor had died trying to defend a merchant from a thief. He had been shot fatally and passed away on the scene, the thief later captured and dealt with based on the laws on the city. In accordance to his will he was to be burned that sundown on the surface along with his armor, shield and sword. And his other possessions donated to charity.His friends and admires stood around as the funeral pyre was lit. It burned until he was ash and the sun was nearly set. His ashes where then collected and scattered on the wind as the airship returned to the city. No monsters attacked the group almost as if Candor watched over them even after death.

IC: SakrinilVim's dark clone held her by the throat with a clawed hand made of darkness. Her flesh sizzled to its touch. She struggled to stay conscious. An explosion of very bright lightning shot from her body. Knocking down her shadowy clone. She tried to talk but she found she couldn't speak or scream. As she found out a moment later as a blade of shadow was thrust through her chest. Her consciousness faded as her body woke up to begin another day....The female Toa stood out of the bed. Her armor seemed to be darker and the light seemed to have less affect on her. She smiled menacingly as she left the inn.IC: Forgotten IslandBellum tapped her foot on the ground impatiently as she waited for the others to return or more orders to be forcefully given.

Stop with 'powers have to be equal' thing. A good writer and role player can use a Matoran to slay a Makuta. Just saying... And you don't even have to use your characters powers at all. You could focus on character development or maybe they just talk a lot and don't fight or something. Jeez think beyond the box. :PYes I understand that text based RPGs are not write to win. But still species, powers and masks are just as important as appearance and personality, to me at least. You start fooling around with them and then you have an entirely different character. Maybe I'm just weird.And I have a few ideas for RPGs but I'm sure what to do. Oh but my RPG will be very liberal with character creation and powers.

Wow that is a lot of time spent. And I like it when the staff change have their names changed. It seems to be the only time they post other than when closing a topic. Or maybe I just don't pay close enough attention. :P

IC: NarcestiSabbia was knocked out from being hit in the back of the neck. He fell down and onto the ground. He would have done something but being unconscious he was currently unable to do anything.

I had two ideas for RPGs but they are not set underground. One is in a jungle and the other a desert. One exploring a new world and the other a slave revolt. Adapting them to underground would ruin them. So I just won't use them. Not even sure if it is a good idea if I ran an RPG.This time around I know certain people can't handle running an RPG so no matter how good the story is I won't vote for it. Sorry.Not the biggest fan of the theme. It means no Dreamland or Day Run sequel. I think it might be the first theme since I found out about the RPG forum. Oh dear this is a brilliant quote right here.

IC: NarcestiSabbia was surprised by the fight and how random it seemed. He ran over to the Glatorian and lifted him up. Putting the Glatorian on his shoulder he started to walk out of this ruin and to the area he was supposed to bring the unconscious Glatorian to.

IC: Forgotten IslandMaelstrom followed the others. He didn't know how to act around leaders. The only major leader he knew was the queen of his old hive and she didn't let anyone see her unless she wanted to see you. But she was dead. And Artorre was a leader too but he was a lot less formal. So the Genos kept quiet and bowed politely to Khalvar as they entered his throne room. He proceeded to walk up to Khalvar as he was told to with the rest of the group.Outside Bellum looked around and wondered what it would be like to have telepathic powers. She felt so weak here. Not only was she much shorter than the natives but the ocean was so far away.IC: SakrinilVim slept in a bed she was renting for the day at some inn within the city. She tossed and turned in her sleep as he was tormented by her dreams. Her multiple personalities fought over who would come out on top and be dominate for that day.But in her dreams she ran through a thick jungle as unseen creatures chased her. She couldn't get her mask to work, not really a surprise to her, but when she touched her face it felt like she was not wearing one but she couldn't stand still, she had to stay away from the creatures that chased her.She turned once she reached a clearing. The noises of the creatures died down as a Toa that looked like an exact copy of her strolled out of the trees. Her face covered in shadows and her armor in darker tones than hers.She focused and a wave of lightning burst from her hands, an emphasis on the light. The other Toa blocked with a shield made from darkness and lunged at her...

IC: SomewhereDecadence roared in pain as it tore its wing from the beast's mouth. Bright red blood spilling from fresh wounds; the beast had broken through his thick scales. He bit into the beast with his sharp fangs but the beast didn't seem to be bothered by that and continued to attack with its sharp claws and teeth. Decadence could see he was losing this thing was too powerful for him to fight....One last roar echoed through the forest as the beast slayed Decadence. The beast would feast from the dead creatures flesh but Decadence's flesh was toxic at least to this beast as it would die later that day from an overdose of chemicals toxic to it.IC: NarcestiSabbia fired a bolt from his crossbow at the thing he was supposed to be fighting.

Huh? Where did the staff go? What do you mean Icarax has it?

Wow this is just so amazing I had to comment on it. And you made all the Toa Nuva too! And they are equally just as awesome as this one. I can barely put into words how much I like this. I am so jealous of your skill and these MOCs. The colors on all of them look great and this ones colors really stand out. And those custom parts look great.

IC: TrainChaz sat in his seat, his right leg up and resting on his left leg. He watched the people that had taken control of this train by force. But he was most interested in Mewtwo. If he could get the Pokeball away from these criminals or maybe force them to release it...No. It might be loyal to them. Or it might go out of control. Maybe he could just steal that Pokeball and force Mewtwo to return to it.But still Mewtwo was very powerful. But his Charizard could face down legendaries, it had done so before. But Mewtwo was not only a legendary Pokemon, it was also a product of science and much more powerful than any normal legendary Pokemon.He decided to do nothing, just watch. He couldn't risk the safety of himself, his Pokemon and all the others aboard the train for some crazy idea.

IC: Forgotten IslandMaelstrom walked down the large steps and he started to think. These beings were big but so was a elder Genos. Maelstrom was not good with time but he knew he was young, only about twenty years old or so. Genos had lifespans of several thousand years although few lived that long. Most died in battle or died protecting their hive. Those that did live long enough reached a considerable size. By that time they would have an exoskeleton so tough it can resist hits from protosteel weapons. And being that size they had muscles that gave them immense strength.And then their was the queens. Whether Genos were born or built was not known to anyone but the queens of the Genos hives. The queens looked like something from a horror movie; a twisted fusion of a queen ant, a wasp and a lobster and they reached sizes of about thirty feet long but by this time in the Matoran Universe only three queens still lived and only four Genos hives still stood. So the species as a whole was fairly unknown and not a real threat to anyone other than a foolish being who wandered into a Genos hive...Bellum tapped him on his shoulder and he woke from his thoughts. Maelstrom continued walking down the path they were told to walk.

That is awesome. Now we finally know who it is. And I have that set which makes it even better.

IC: TrainChaz's eyes opened wide in terror as he saw Mewtwo. Being a legend hunter himself he knew of Mewtwo and how it was a clone of Mew and thus a legendary Pokemon itself. But also that it had a savage heart and was extremely powerful. So how did they catch and why did it obey? He then saw the master ball and understood how it was caught but why did it obey? Caught Pokemon don't have to obey even though many do.Was this the original Mewtwo or had more been made since his time? And why did these people have it?He felt the psychic pulse and cried out mentally in pain. It took lots of willpower to not scream. After a few moments of refocusing his mind he was fine again. He heard his PokeGear beep and took it out. The device was now off.If you broke this you're gonna pay.Both anger and fear surged through his mind bolstering his own psychic powers. But he did not use them.Chaz looked Mewtwo in the eyes. You poor thing, being used by people when alone you are so powerful...OOC: Is this Mewtwo the original one? Personally I don't think Mewtwo would ever obey a human especially the way it is portrayed in the movie.Now I want to have Zapdos attack the train. It probably would be crushed by Mewtwo but it still would be cool to have a some legendary Pokemon battle each other... on a train. :PAnd sorry I haven't been posting. I just don't know what to write.
