  1. IC: NarcestiSabbia growled at Joskirre as he seemingly appeared from the shadows.OOC: You called?
  2. Remember?Sol and Marx had returned home. They had stayed on Kai Nam for about a month after the crisis and decided they should try to help rebuild. But they grew homesick and would eventually return home. They had left their world in the winter and returned a year and a half later in the summer.Sol walked thru a field and breathed in the planet’s clean air. The sunlight that shined upon him made him powerful. Here on his home turf few were more powerful than him but in the other worlds he was only about as powerful as a Toa.Returning home made him think of his past. How he was created and why that happened.…Long ago existed another universe but it had come to an end. Two spirits had escaped into this world right as the other one ended. One was a creator and a protector of life. The other one was a destroyer and a murderer. The former spirit took on the form of a cloud of energy while the latter took the form of a giant machine. Both would explore the new multiverse they had entered. But the creative spirit would return to the world they had first entered so that it could explore it.The spirit would find a planet with life on it and this planet revolved around two stars. One of the stars was close to collapsing and the spirit didn’t want to see the primitive life on the planet die so it used some of its power and allowed the star to collapse into black hole earlier than it was supposed to and then a barrier was placed around the black hole to prevent it from consuming the planet and the other star. This barrier made it seem like the black hole was constantly collapsing from a star and made it give off a faint light. The spirit dubbed this cosmological oddity the Infinitus Cascade. But the spirit knew this would not be enough, guardians must be made to guard this planet. So two beings were drawn from the star and the Infinitus Cascade, their appearances and powers were inspired by the Matoran Universe specifically Toa and so the guardians looked similar to Toa. The spirit named the two guardians Sol and Marx and after telling them of their purpose and duty, disappeared to parts unknown. The two guardians were similar to the two spirits from elsewhere in that they were very powerful and that throughout the multiverse only one of each of these beings existed. And the two guardians faithfully guarded the planet from all harm for many, many years. But then the destructive spirit found his twin’s creations and tried to destroy them. While it failed to do so it damaged them and the temporarily became like normal beings in that many copies of them existed throughout the multiverse.Marx would eventually find a way to fix himself and his brother thru the use of a complex machine. For Marx inherited his creator’s creativity and intelligence while; Sol had inherited their creator’s strong sense of justice, among other things. The machine was a success and it had returned them to cosmic singularities. But memories from the other worlds parts of their conscious’s had been to stayed with them and so they set off across the multiverse to help restore things that they thought needed to be fixed. The brothers had visited many worlds but one of the more memorable and important things they had done was on an island called Kai Nam were they along with many others stopped a being called Ruaki from killing thousands for revenge over events in its own past.On that island they had also participated in a tournament and made friends with a lonely Toa named Slate.…Sol heard Marx call his name and he was woken from his memories. Sol waved and hurried over to his brother to see what he wanted.Author's Note: If you read this thank you. I really appreciate it. If you understood it that's even better. This story is both a wrap up for two of my Day Run characters, Sol and Marx, and a way of explaining or trying to explain the origin of these characters. Also, I apologize in advance for my poor grammar.
  3. IC: Forgotten IslandBellum thought the city would make a good pond. She continued to follow the others.Maelstrom followed too. He wondered why the group had allowed themselves to be forced to the city. Maybe they really did want to help the locals.
  4. So who is Sabbia kidnapping and why? I don't think I understand. But thanks for giving him something to do.
  5. What happened with all the groups my characters were parts of? They just seemed to stop doing anything.
  6. The Great Beings. They just seemed to have no respect for life as if they thought it was just another thing they could play with.
  7. IC: NarcestiSabbia snarled at his old teammate. That traitor. What was he thinking? He looked closely at the Vorox's face. His eyes where fully dilated and his muscles randomly spasmed. It was almost like he had eaten something he should not have.Sabbia sheathed his katana. He felt creeped out by the mechanical eyed Vorox and that odd voice. "I'll do as you command, sir." The Vorox he might not recognized but he guessed the voice was his leader or another high up tribesman contacting him thru some weird newly rediscovered technology. He quietly ran off to fulfill his new orders.
  8. IC: NarcestiSabbia was sneak thru the darkness when he heard an unexpected rush of air behind him. He turned to find his teammate was lunging at him with a dagger. He was able to catch his teammates arm and bend his arm so that he was forced to drop the dagger."What are you doing?" Barked Sabbia. His voice quiet but still very angry."We are turning on you brother! We know of you are desire to fly, to leave. And leave know of your intent to torn on us." Said his teammate, his vocal cords had been damaged when he was a child and thus he had a thick accent since then."What! Why would I turn on the people I love?" replied Sabbia."We know of your intentions. Our leader demands your death.""But I am always loyal." He growled. "So this mission is a lie?""You are may be loyal but our leader wants you dead. And so we must obey! Oh but this mission serves two purposes one to kill you and one to kill some sky dwellers."Sabbia growled and lunged at his teammate with his katana. His rage did not allow his to see any logic nor did he want to.The other Vorox caught the blade in his hand, his gauntlet taking most of the force.IC: SomewhereDecadence moved across the forest floor after his prey. Little did he know his prey was not so easy to kill. He had caught the glimpse of something moving across the ground from the sky. And pride made him want to kill it. He roared and a shock wave shook the area around him.The creature he had been hunting decided to stop fleeing and fight. Out of the the tree dropped a beast from a nightmare. It was about the same size as Decadence and it looked like a twisted fusion of a lizard and a spider. It has eight legs that all ended in clawed toes. It has two tails and its mouth was lined with sharp fangs. And its eight red eyes were terrifying to look into. Its whole body was covered in a thick, jet black exoskeleton that gleamed in the sunlight. The creature rushed at Decadence. It bit down on his tail and although it couldn't pierce his scales the pressure its jaws produced was still painful thru his tough scales.OOC: If my characters sit around any longer I'm gonna kill them off. I was going to kill them off straight away but I'm getting sick of having to do that. And I would have posted something for Candor but I don't even remember how he was supposed to act.
  9. IC: Sakrinil"That's all right. I suppose it is better to look like a species considered to be heroic than to look wicked." replied Ark.
  10. IC: Saffron City Train StationChaz sat on the train and breathed deeply, focusing his mind. He could sense something was not quite right. Something was off but he couldn't tell what exactly it was.Extending his mind he briefly and gently looked over the minds of the Pokemon on the train and nearby. He wasn't able to detect any surface thoughts that alerted him to what was askew. He breathed deeply again allowing his brain to get the oxygen it craved after he used his psychic powers. If he had to rank which psychic powers he was most comfortable and best with telepathy with Pokemon was among his best skills along with telekinesis. But telepathy with other humans just didn't seem to work too well, he would rank it as one of his worst skills. It was almost like his mind couldn't relate to human minds as easily as it could Pokemon ones.
  11. Well a dragon is a lot easier to type out than a mutant T-Rex or the equivalent of one that lived on Spherus Magna but was then mutated. And yes he is a dragon of some sort. I'm really tempted to redo his profile cause I can't quite remember what I was thinking when I made it. Although I would prefer his appearance stays the same. He would probably be lower on dragon hierarchy though, if I do change up his profile. He is more of a warrior than a thinker or leader.
  12. Oh that's a relief. Now I just need to figure out what to do with my dragon character.
  13. IC: Sakrinil"Ah yes a Faxon. That sounds like it might work. Only problem is I have no clue if I can use Kanohi masks or not." replied Ark. He really had never tried to use a mask before. He hadn't even thought about doing so in the past.IC: Forgotten IslandBellum followed but she was not too happy about doing so.Maelstrom too followed the others. He was trying his hardest to set aside his fear but it was difficult for him to do so.
  14. But I wanted to watch it. ): Would restarting your computer help?
  15. IC: Forgotten IslandBellum would have responded but she was being stubborn and well these beings didn't seem to like her or the being who she was currently travelling with. And they seemed to have a rule that only the leaders of groups may talk.Maelstrom was still scared. He was still rather young, he might not know his exact age, but he was still younger than many others he had met during his travels. And from his inexperience he had little or no understanding of mental powers. He didn't even know what telepathy was. So he was quite confused on how these beings 'heard' his every thought. But he didn't want to ask because he was too scared and he guessed it was something trivial. As Hetgar had just lost a friend and from his reaction it seemed like a close friend. He did feel sorrow for this but his fear it overwhelmed his other emotions.OOC: Okay I think I understand what you are getting at.Bellum is not a very well developed character. I have yet to make up much of her history so whether or not she has any training for mentally shielding herself or has any visceral images is not something that I have thought of yet and probably won't include unless she is one of my characters in a future rpg.It might be just me but the way you describe these characters makes me think they are much more developed than my own.And I apologize about raging for no reason. I feel quite terrible about it and would prefer if this issue is dropped as fast as possible.
  16. IC: Forgotten Island"Love you too sweetheart." She replied in a flirty sarcastic way.Hey sweety. Get out of my head. Kay. Thanks. Anyone still in her head would find that her mind seemed to now be a blank void. Even her face became impassive.OOC:Yeah and I have to get something out here. Cause no one seems to be able to read my mind or get the overly subtle hints I've dropped over my short time on this website.I see telepathy/mind reading/mind control as a form of reading. Anyone can see and interpret the cover but it takes someone with a stronger mind/want to read something to get deeper. And even if you can get deeper in not everyone can read it.For example a Toa with a Great Mask of Telepathy tries to read a Glatorian's mind. Well they might be able to sense the emotions of the being and see any surfaces thoughts(things being thought of at that given time.) And let's also say that the Toa was not given the magic signal from Mata Nui to allow it to understand Agori. Well then it would be like you reading a book in a language you don't understand and not having any translators available either.
  17. Hello? Is anyone there? Is this thing dead?Seriously what happened? I just finished making my characters and everything seems to have stopped. Come on people we can't have two failure rpgs going on at once. Every contest seems to have at least one. But two? That is just overkill.
  18. IC: Forgotten Island"About what Salvinn?" asked Bellum in a hushed tone. She tried to look calm but her eyes betrayed her. She was clearly quite angry.
  19. I really like how this website is protected from much of the corruption the rest of the internet is full of. And while it does get really annoying to not be able to mention websites that seem like common knowledge nowadays it does seem to help protect the website and the community.

    Today is Awesome

    Happy Birthday iBrow!
  21. IC: Forgotten IslandShe continued to glare at Hetgar but said nothing. She held her tongue knowing if she said anything this being would only get more... annoying.Only leaders may talk. Bah! I need no leader! These fools! A string of thoughts, mostly negative, ran through her head. At the end of this mental tantrum she really wanted to drown one of them but she guessed they were amphibious or something. Oh and every and any crime meant the death penalty. This place was just as bad as Metru Nui in her mind. All the law and order, how mundane.
  22. IC: Forgotten Island"So you're saying if just happened to be in Metru Nui when a civil war broke out that you would know what side to pick without any prior knowledge of the area or its populace." Said Bellum as she glared at Hetgar. "And yes you are mistaken. I would try to revoke you're statement about cowardice but cowards live to see another day. While noble warriors die left and right."Maelstrom hung his head in shame as if he were a child being scolded by his parent. He was far to scared to talk and he was regretting leaving that island even more. Maybe he should run away...
  23. IC: Forgotten Island"Hmm. How strange. Vastly different sides of the same coin." said Bellum more to herself than anyone else.Bellum was just about to fight but Artorre's signal stopped her. Anyone that was watching her closely might have seen fire surround her and disappear faster than it takes to blink. She sighed maybe she could fight soon.Maelstrom's spear was in his hand so fast he was almost startled by his own reflexes. He trembled in fear as he held his protosteel tipped spear, ready to jab it into an attacker if need be.
  24. IC: Sakrinil"I can't copy powers of other things. I can only take their shapes. And mimic voices." replied Ark.IC: Forgotten Island"No I don't follow others blindly. Retiak, please explain the civil war from your perspective to me." replied Bellum. She didn't trust either side and she figured learning the story from both sides wouldn't hurt. Hopefully...Maelstrom was just too intimidated to talk.
