  1. Thank you, I'm glad you like it. And yes, our match has been fairly interesting so far, just one last MOC (by Felix), and it sadly comes to an end Thanks! That is pretty understandable, they light grey on the wheels stick out a bit. But I didn't happen to have any alternate colors for the inner parts of them (and I don't think any exist for that specific piece).
  2. Thanks! The head was pretty difficult to make actually, since I had to redesign it from the one that Felix used. I got the nuva shoulders froma certain site, but they originally came from the old Lego Sports Hockey sets (more specifically the Blue Player and Goal). Glad you like them, I really wanted to go for a spindly aspect with this, compared to how Felix's was a bit more full. And, I'm not sure who Uncle K is, sorry
  3. Ok, maybe not what you expected. Click for the topic. Flickr Thoughts?
  4. For round 3 of my match-up with Felix the Cat. The theme was to make a MOC of any of the other's previous MOCs. For this round I chose Felix's Pixi Droid.(Click for larger image)I decided to play around with the design for this, opting for a more spindly version, rather than how the original was. Also, since I did not have any yellow nuva shoulders for the head, I had to alter the amount of blue-to-yellow ratio. So now it's basically opposite to that of Felix's version.Credit to Cholie for editing some of the pictures, his editing is much better than mine.Alternate AngleWith staffBack/SideGallery (When Public)FlickrC&C Appreciated.
  5. Thanks bro, glad you like it. And yeah, it did need some more red =/ Glad to know, I wasn't completely sure whether or not you were being so. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  6. Thank you! I do see what you mean, the windscreen does look similar to the front of the drop ship. Thanks. Haha yeah, I doubt anyone would want to fly in space in something with this color scheme. Glad you like it
  7. Thanks, glad you like it! Haha, yeah I guess it is a bit system heavy, I never was really sure on which forum it belonged to when I was about to post it. Thanks for moving it Smeag.
  8. @alpha123: I agree, it may be a tad narrower than I liked. But I didn't have anyway of thickening it. Thanks.@WE_Are_Grid: Actually, it is attached to the bohrok limb, but the parts around it are to make the limb itself not seem so thin.@Kraggh: I wish I had some of the parts I used there in red, just so I could have distributed the colors better. Thanks, and maybe you should buy some again @Zaxvo: Actually, the area that appears yellow is trans-neon Thank you.@Peng: Thanks, glad you liked it.@Fee: Love you too bro <3 And yes, we surely will see on round two @Sparky: Thanks bro. My original intention when MOCing this was to have it be "blind", but I couldn't find a way to make the eye hole fully black, so I settled for the pipe acting as the eye.@Tomaku: You're entitled to your opinion indeed, not everyone enjoys HF parts. Personally, I felt that they worked perfectly in displaying the aesthetic that I wanted for this MOC. And I'm sure having 12 HF armor plates, out of about 200+ total parts, didn't make anything easier for me @Windrider: Thank you for clearing this up, I didn't want my topic to be the basis of a big debate.
  9. I finished it. Thoughts?
  10. This is for round 2 of my match-up with Felix the Cat, over on Flickr. The theme was to make a MOC with an "obnoxious" color scheme.(Click for larger image)Back ViewGallery (when public)Flickr I decided to be a bit more original and make a spaceship, rather than something organic. I'm happy of how this turned out, although I wish it didn't take me so long to make this. Although I will admit, that the main color scheme could have clashed some more. But I felt that the subtle bits of other colors helped make this look more "obnoxious".C&C appreciated.
  11. Thank you! I tried to make all areas possible red, without breaking the color layering or the aesthetic. I didn't intend to have the whole MOC appear really red, rather just to have small red and light bley accents throughout. Glad you like the MOC. Thanks, although I'd say that Umbra would've been much more unstable with these feet, heh.
  12. The mid-section of the MOC is great. Nice job on including the little chrome bits at the top. Anyways, cute tablescrap here Sumiks, I like it
  13. Thanks! I did not have the inner bits of the wheels in red (if they even exist), but regardless, I stayed with them since I felt that they worked well with the other accents of light bley throughout the MOC. Although If I had those in red, I'd surely love to use those instead of the bley ones. Thank you.
  14. Thanks, glad you like it! Thank you! Those tips aren't actually color layering though, they're more about distributing the colors. And although they would help in adding more red throughout the MOC, it would kinda mess up the red-over-black color layering that the MOC has =/ I tried to add red wherever possible, prior to posting the MOC, but nothing could be added without losing the aesthetic of the color layering, sadly. Thanks Thank you I really enjoyed using the HF parts here, really added to the aesthetic of the MOC.

    You're awesome Chols <3
  16. Click for the topic. So this is for my MOC-off with Felix, I'm waiting to see what he makes to go against this, sure will be a fun match though. Also, apparently my 640 x 640 image had a filesize bigger than 100kb, how in the world do I know it's file size? Since I can easily replace the one on the topic with a 500 x 500, but I'm not sure of the file size =/
  17. It sure has been a while since I've MOCed. Glad I finally made something.(Click for larger picture)BackAlternate AngleGalleryFlickrThis MOC is part of a competition between myself and Felix the Cat, click the banner on my sig to get to the contest page. The first round's theme was to build a mech/robot, so I decided to make one on wheels! The design/idea for this was somewhat based off of past MOCs, Scavenge and Voyager (Hence, the overly creative names). The build itself was very fun for me, I got to use some new techniques that I adored, and I've never made a successful wheeled biped before.Enjoy! C&C appreciated.
  18. Looks great so far Kyori! Very nicely done drawing, and being black and white makes it look more like a graphic novel! Personally, I don't think coloring it would be necessary, at least until the whole thing is finished.I'll definitely be following along with this =)
  19. Heh, I actually brought out my old KHI a few days ago too, its still fun to play. If you've beaten Phantom (I forget his exact name), Kurt Zisa shouldn't be too tough in comparison. Just don't forget to use Tinkerbell Good luck with Sephiroth, I still haven't been able to beat him, even at level 100 The good news is that it's an easier battle in KHII compared to the first, at least for me that is.
  20. I'd suggest making the pictures here link to their large sizes, just to make it easier for those who see the MOC prior to the gallery being public. And maybe some brighter lighting? It's good for a "dramatic" effect for one picture, but it's easier for us to comment on it if the rest were brightened up (just so the little details are visible). Anyways, this looks pretty cool. The shaping looks good, especially with the torso and upper arms. I'm not a fan of how exposed the knees appear to be (due tot he gap). Maybe a different design would be more appropriate? Also, I'm not 100% sure of the feet, maybe it's just cause they kinda mess with the color layering here.Anyways, a solid MOC, good job =)

    Giants For The Win

Since the Patriots lost last time, everyone should expect the Giants to win. Just so we can flip the results

    49Ers Lost :/

Twas a good game, shame how close they were to getting to the super bowl. Ah well, Eli Manning vs. Tom Brady. This will be fun :3
  23. Thanks. Thanks. I've been trying to add more and more system bits to my MOCs, they're really good for small details.
