  1. I self-voted. But I do love Tigermann. This poll is probably the most competitive one with the close voting. It sure is a great MOC.
  2. I voted for Eris, it's one of my favorite entries in the contest <3
  3. I voted for Kit Martello, but I really did enjoy Simicarid Warrior. Not surprised by how it's doing.
  4. I made something. (click for topic) Flickr Isn't it cute?
  5. Credit to 55555 for the name idea. This MOC is for BBC #64 (click for larger picture)Side-ish viewBack view Gallery (when public)FlickrSo, this is a hybrid of a Gila Monster and a Snake. I pretty much had to rush and make this, and finished it by the time of the original deadline, then all of a sudden, a contest extension! I mainly left it unchanged, but I did add some extra internal pieces, and altered a few colors. This easily passes the technic to system ratio for the contest (thankfully)!I'm mainly proud of the head, and the overall shaping I got for this. There are a few places that I'm not a fan of, but I don't have unlimited resources :PC&C appreciated! And, good luck to everyone participating in the contest! It sure has been a while since we've last had one.
  6. Glad I found some time to take a bunch of quick pictures!Entry Name: Gila Monstrosity!Entry Pic URL: linkTopic URL: (I'll add one later)Good luck to everyone participating!
  7. THERE IS NOTHING THERE. Is the question why did you forget to put a question. Yes. That is why I hoped you would like it <3
  8. Here is my question. I hope you like it.
  9. I really need to check up more on my topics Thank you! Yes, it is from those sets, it sure is a nice piece. Well it's just a balljoint that connects to the mata hand, and since the body weight is slightly more forward, the positioning allows for it to be stable. Thanks again! Good point. I made the proportions almost human like, however I was on a time-crunch for taking photos. So the torso doesn't look as good as it does in person, mainly because the arms aren't positioned downwards =/ Thanks. It's a bohrok limb With two L shaped technic connectors. Nothing special there, haha.
  10. So, pretty weird thing. Reaching 700 posts, first finished MOC of the new year for me, and that MOC happens to be my self-MOC. Coincidences, coinciedences. But, enough with this rambling, onto the MOC. (Image links to the topic) C&C appreciated, and stuff.
  11. I finally got around to making an original form for my self-MOC, since it's never had one for all this time. (Image links to a larger version) AlternateBack/Side view Gallery (when public)Flickr First MOC that I've completed in the new year, so it must be pretty special to make that a self-MOC, right? C&C appreciated
  12. Ooh, this is really nice.I am loving that head, the hat is really cute too. The staff works very well with the electrical-motif you have going here. The layering of the lower legs flows very well with the feet. But seriously, that head is gorgeous, so much character, and it's perfectly shaped <3I only have a few things that I'm not particularly fond of here. The elbow region seems a bit unfinished, kinda screaming for some small tires to fill up the gaps there. Those armor pieces over the HF torso seem a bit tacked on, cause their positioning doesn't really flow with the rest of the armor. The gun is ok, doesn't seem like it's totally necessary though =/ Other than that, this is a really solid MOC.
  13. You have no idea of my endless amount of dishes <3 Thanks! Yes, the head is probably my favorite part about the MOC (I even made some instructions, so I can re-use it if needed!).Oh, well there is a pretty simple reason, I don't have a proper amount of white exo-force fingers anymore, so I couldn't actually build another arm like that. So, I decided to just use the Pridak blade Glad you like the design for the wings, I felt it would've been missing something without them. Yes, it is more practical. Thanks again, bro! Thank you!

    WINNERS

Glad to finally see those results. Can't wait for the next one!
  15. - Thanks! Yeah, the personality of the MOC pretty much comes from the head, so it does look a bit nasty Glad you like it, I was trying to make sure this was different, just to go away from my normal stuff. - Thanks! I honestly don't remember my inspiration for this, may have been from a video game. - You don't see this everyday, huh? Thanks - Haha, you generally see weird things like this in Final Fantasy games Thanks! There is no real definition for this, I made it for Christmas, and wanted to give it a Christmas-esque name. Otherwise, I have no idea what this actually is, sorry. - I do, don't I? I got a large amount for a cheap price, and not just in that color Glad you like it! It's kinda troublesome to only build with white and red, took me forever to get enough parts to attempt this MOC. Yes, it's very stable on its own, but a blow of the wind, or a touch of the finger may cause it to fall down
  16. Congrats everyone! I'm happy just to make it to the finals :PA well deserved win, Zorrakh.

    RE: The Snowmen

I loved it. And this new girl, she is good. I am excited. Also, did I mention I loved this episode? I really did <3
  18. Well, it's been a while since I've finished something http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/LordOblivion/MOCs/2012/Christmas/christmas00.png][/url] (Picture links to larger image, but for some reason the linking is acting all funny here on BZP) Gallery Flickr The word Jól is Old Norse for the name of a pagan Scandinavian holiday which merged with Christmas around 1000 ADE. So you can see why I chose this name, I clearly ran out of any creative ideas. I was in the Holiday spirit (and it's Winter break, so no school), so I decided to make this. I basically used all my white dishes here, just to try and make this more unique. Taking pictures was a pain though, considering how this MOC is a whole balancing act in itself, but I was able to get some quality pictures. It's still majorly Technic/Bionicle, the inner workings are where most of it is at. The whole MOC started with the base though, just a fun tripod, while led me to making the rest. I barely used any non-white/red parts here either, but I still found a way to finsh this :PC&C appreciated.
  19. Mordecai, because Mordecai is awesome.
  20. Needs more awesome saxophone-man.

    Wow

I should really try being more active here, but, I'm so busy ;_; At least I finished this: (Click for topic) Flickr
  22. After a few months, I finally found time to finish this Click!Gallery (When Public)FlickrI've been really busy the past couple of months, and it doesn't seem like it'll be slowing down anytime soon. So I apologize for the lack of different pictures for this. The big rock is both for effect, and to provide a slight elevation for that section of the body. There is a natural bend there, so I didn't want to take any chances of internal damage. The idea was just to make some big sea serpent. The actual MOC is 3-feet, 6-inches in length! All built around a chain of socket connectors (mata hands). You can imagine the pain it took to design the segmentation :PBut, it glows in the dark. Which makes it all worth it for me.C&C Appreciated.Edit: Image linked - please keep posted images in BBC to 100 kB!-Wind-
  23. Thought this topic was going to die, instead it made the front page? xD That is pretty surprising. It's actually dark-bley (and some dark-grey), not black Thank you! Yes, stalk your enemies with these obnoxious robots. The system plates are used to give the upper arms some shape, I didn't want them to appear too bulky, otherwise making the lower legs seem too thin. Yeah, I sent a report to fix that, the link on the topic doesn't work, yet the one on the front page does O_oThat's a good point, maybe we know the terrain for this! Thanks, glad you like the feet. The knees can somewhat bend, but I do agree that they aren't the best things for mobility. Thanks again. Lord', that's a good looking and perhaps overly depressed robot. I love how smooth the whole thing looks, especially with the disks on the legs and the HF parts. I almost didn't see those Bohrok limbs on the feet, they sort of look like they can move like an accordion(the instrument) and keep balance for the bot. Or maybe they're part of a big boot, and the bot moves about by it's wheels?Guns are great, always- and the blue really looks nice against the orange. And I love orange, especially in that mask(great choice by the way), which is reason enough to hug the S.A.D little bot.. before it blows my arm off or something. :PI have got to try a build like this.Indeed.Thank you! Yeah, I guess they are somewhat reminiscent of an accordion, in some way. Those weren't really intended to be wheels, they're just there as part of the foot. Thanks, I felt that the contrasting color would've added some depth. Instead of trans-green, or trans-red.Have fun building it! I'm not making any instructions though, cause this guy has been taken apart for quite a while. Another one falls for the color scheme, haha. It's actually dark-bley (and dark-grey) and orange, no metru blue here And it actually is only made with those color parts, excluding some pins and axles. Thanks! Yeah, there is a big similarity there, almost the exact same shape as the feet from Xerox, I never intended for that originally xD The knees are the only parts that have trouble, they can only bend so far. The shoulder-ish area works wonderfull though, along with the feet.Ah yes, it does look like something that can be found at the theatre, the expression does wonders. You can consider the blue parts eyes, that also can shoot lasers I tried to have a shadow behind the mask, to somewhat give the sense of a screen behind the mask, but that is just me being artsy. Thanks Ballom!
  24. Thank you! I tried to pick a color that would work well with the dark grey base, and I felt orange gave the right amount of "pop" to it. Haha, that could work too Thanks.Glad you like it, that's what I was going for. Thank you! Thanks bro! I'm glad that you like the build. The guns are actually more of a weight to prevent this from falling, so I didn't put too much work into them. Maybe that would have looked better though. And sorry, didn't get to take many back shots. And the ones I did get were useless =/There isn't any room to add something for eyes, so I kinda relied on the shadow behind the mask to give the eyes a black look. so it would show it. Thanks again!
