  1. OOC:Visaru, note that Ziraul wears a Mahiki and is currently in the shape of a Vortixx. Thus he seems a Vortixx with unusual abilities. I will add a mild note that his palms seem to have speakers embedded, to make them look like the source of his powers. If you could edit to make sure other people don't get the wrong idea, greatly appriciated.Katuko, in response to below, you forgot Tirax, the Skakdi standing next to him.I edited the IC to clarify.IC: Ziraul added to the sonic attack by using his mask, creating a field of darkness around his foe, so that he could not see. A bolt of impact vision also shot into this shadowy mass, thanks to Tirax.
  2. IC: Ziraul kept up the sound beam as it shattered the incoming stone. He upped the volume even further, to where it would seriously risk internal damage to lungs and other body cavities, and stood an even better chance of breaking metal, and also increased the width to make it harder to dodge, a potential problem if a foe was not agile enough. The beam was powerful enough that covering your ears would do little good.
  3. IC:The stone wall shattered with the force of the blast, and Ziraul only kept it up. Around his feet, he created two small silence fields that would keep his element charged. Tirax hurled another impact vision bolt while the illusion was down.
  4. IC:Seeing six identical Toa charging at the gate, Ziraul instantly recognized a basic Mahiki trick. Triggering his sonics abilities, he utilized sonar to identify which was really coming at him, and the stone blast only served to confirm it. A impact vision bolt knocked the stone away, and a sonic blast went at the real Potanko, strong enough to shatter masks and armor.
  5. IC: The loud noises of the enemy did not seem to effect the Vortixx or Aparangi-in truth, they were cancelled by Ziraul's own sonic powers. Then, Ziraul drew a throwing knife, and hurled it at the enemy. In midair, the knife seemed to split into six-an illusion. Only the center knife was real, but the other five would prove confusing. Ziraul had been mindful of Atvin's sudden appearance, so he kept his aim away from the Toa of Sonics. This was joined by a bolt of impact vision from Tirax.
  6. OOC:Sorry that I've forgotten about Ziraul lately.IC: Ziraul turned to the incoming forces, immediately deciding on some weapons for this Vortixx form. Using his element and mask, he created several "flash-bangs" right in the faces of the incoming foes, certain to stun. He drew one of his blades.
  7. OOC: Relying on Mef's summary of what happened when I was gone to post about the looter fight. Still need an ILS summary.IC:Seeing the Toa of Fire begin a fight with another being he decided not to worry about, and with the other Toa's truce, Cy nodded to Vorok, and Velan (OOC:Hope I got the name right.) lightened to where she was floating five feet off the ground. Cy created a powerful gust of wind to knock her mask off. Vorok shouted, "Sanctum Guard, we found a looter!"
  8. IC:"Agreed. Now put him down, Vorok.""Grr...""Put him down."This was answered with "Okay. Fine."IC:Vorok safely lowered his airborne prisioner to the ground. At a height of about five feet, he suddenly let go, initiating what might be a mildly painful fall on Verak's rear, his form of revenge for the insult. With that taken care of, they turned to the Toa of Fire, Cy keeping one of his cyclones near the former foe as a defensive measure. He added, "I must have a case of short-sight in the head here-not sure what I'd charge you with! But the important thing is just that we find a workable solution for your friend." He kept an eye on the other while Vorok looked at the Toa of Fire.OOC:Last post till later this week.
  9. IC:Vorok simply held his sheild in the path of the blade headed for him, using his own Calix for the reflexes to block the fast blade. His focus was reduced slightly, however, and Verak began to descend slightly, enough to drop him to perhaps fifty feet or so. The other blade passed too close to one of Cy's cyclones as it moved into the defensive posistion. It was sucked in and spat out into an empty but wrecked hut. Cy shouted, "Stop the fighting and I'll make sure you don't get arrested, since Vorok only did that in response to your insult. Charges on the looting might even be dropped if your friend agrees to put the stuff back and actually go buy that kind of stuff, though that depends on the opinion of the Guard. "
  10. OOC:Potentially my last post till Friday or later. Lesson: Don't insult Vorok. He tends to be quite confrontational. IC: The shouted insults had a potentially desired effect. The shouter's weight was decreased to where Aqua Magna's gravity would not hold him down, likely shooting him high in the air, perhaps up too two hundred feet. Cy couldn't help his instinct for bad puns. Waving, he shouted, "High up there!" Then, turning to the Toa charging at them, he shouted,"We're here only because we saw your friend looting, and counter-attacked after an ever-hasty water-blast. Just thought I should explain." One of snow twisters whirling behind him moved into a defensive posistion, just in case.
  11. Kray, you forgot me too. The RPing is going to slow down here a little, I'm afraid.EDIT:Next week: camp, and vacation of unknown date and length in August (I think).
  12. It does seem that everyone is leaving. As a secondary reminder, i will be gone for camp next week. I also have a vacation sometime in August.
  13. IC:Cy smiled as the water crashed to the ground, too heavy to continue. Vorok now stood next to Cy. Already, he was using his element to feel out for the looter's personal gravity. Suddenly, as Vorok detected the gravitational pull of Velan, he increased her weight to where she would be too heavy to run. Elsewhere, Kivar said, "At least we have some idea of where the Matoran might be hidden. Perhaps we can trick them into revealing their own location. If ours could be masked with our Mahik-user, well placed sonic booms might lure them out."
  14. IC:Kivar, hearing Madrihk, said, "I knew something was funky about the noise. Using sonar on to compensate for the visual range reduction." Several minutes passed as Kivar began a quiet clicking. As the group of searchers began to approach the mountain, Kivar began to pick up some odd echos from his sonar. The only thing he had heard like that before was a cave. "Madrihk, there may be a couple caves up ahead. Perfect place to hide the hostages. We should take a look. Do uou want me to ensure that we can't be heard? Note that I can't use my sonar and do that at the same time."OOC:I think sonar coud pick up a cave, but I think we should search a couple just too be realistic before we go trampling in on them.Auron, Velan is in Ko-koro's ruins, I would persume?IC:Cy turned and saw a being digging in the ruins of the damaged Ko-Koro. He shouted,"Hey, what are you doing?" Behind him, two snowy whirlwinds appeared, ready to attack and blind his foes on command.
  15. Kivar came, since he is a Toa of Sonics (make sure you look at my short interaction with Byraher detailing overhearing the enemy from a distance.) As I will disappear for about a week on Monday, Katuko and Benluke can bunny him for detection, stealth, summoning and talking to Rahi, whatever. Just a reminder.
  16. OOC:I knew she was a Vortixx. But I was confused-I though you were talking about what Kivar could hear.IC: Kivar continued to cast his senses about, looking for any potential evidence of the enemies. Kivar though quietly to himself. If there was an army, it was a quiet one-armies generally made a lot of loud-noise. "I really spend to much time with Le-matoran if I think in tree-speak sometimes," he added to himself.OOC:Last post today.
  17. OOC:I don't really get what you're saying. That the echos need some time to travel? That shouldn't be much of a problem for a Toa of Sonics since they can hear for quite a distance.IC: "I think I can make it out...something about an army and a snowstorm. Or a harmony and a blowhorn, though that sounds unlikely." Kivar whipsered, his excellent hearing picking up the noise. "Madrihk, I think we should prepare ourselves for a fight. Let me know if you want to chance it by bringing in the Rahi with a Mask of Summoning, should a fight come."
  18. OOC: Excuse me, but I can't not stick Kivar in this group. His sonics is too useful for stealth, sonar, voice detection, etc. Who is Byraher hearing? Kivar will obviously be able to make out the noise, but only if I know what you are talking about precisely.IC: Kivar had come along at his own insistence, as one of the only Sonics Toa present. He muttered to Bryaher, "Me too..." He cupped a hand to his ear and used his power to boost the volume to where every one in the small area could hear it as well, though he kept the noise in the general area of the group.OOC: Cinnamon, just post/quote what we heard thanks to Kivar.
  19. IC: Cy turned to those headed to scout out the Matoran-nappers. "Myself, Vorok and Kivar will help you track down the hostages. I can take an airborne surveillance role, and Kivar can keep you silent. Vorok will help however he can-he is a marksmen, and his visor may allow you to get a good look at something over a distance. Let me know when we go."
  20. IC: Vorok shouted, "Whoever you are, I'll point out that he's not in charge here. That guy, Madrihk, the Toa of Ice, is." Vorok's shout was also somthing of a growl, directed at Alexin, having overheard Reordin's conversation.
  21. I have a slaver charecter who could also be of some interest. If you'd be interested in getting him involved in a plot arc, PM meAlso, I will be gone for about a week starting this Sunday(I will be on Sunday, but not for very long). If needed, the ILS can bunny my chars then. Benluke and Katuko have my permission to do this starting on Monday.
  22. IC: A Gukko and a Toa of Air swooped down and landed next to the ILS. A Toa of Sonics and a Toa of Gravity stepped off the Gukko, and the Toa of Sonics let out a series of clicks and whistles. The Gukko answered and flew off to Le-Wahi. Cy turned to Madrihk and said, "Do you want me to do anything? Myself and Vorok can fly to scout the village, and Kivar here can make an annoucement loud enough for the whole village to hear about our arrival. Though he probably wants an apology about the Nui-Rama first. He may understand the difficulties of dis-infection, but that still doesn't mean he likes your approach. And by the way, I should mention that you can consider me as with the ILS, as a liason to Le-Koro."OOC:Just shout what you want to say and bunny him for amplification. After the apology, of course. And add Cy to the roster.
  23. IC: Cy wished he had the chance to discuss some things with Madrihk, but understood the importance of Ko-Koro. He would have done the same for Le-Koro. He turned to Vorok, and nodded. The two took off, flying with element and mask. They took a brief stop at the Nui-Rama hive, and picked up Kivar, who's work of compassion for the Rama was mostly complete. Kivar called out to a wild Gukko. With a few minutes, he and Vorok were on the fly to Ko-Wahi with Cy.Cy couldn't help but smile and let out a yelp of joy as he tasted his greatest love yet again: The speed of the air.OOC: Cy, Vorok and Kivar to Ko-Wahi.
  24. IC: Ziraul answered, "Fine by me." Tirax sliced through some overgrown plants on the path as they walked.
  25. OOC:You got Cy's name wrong. He was just talking to Laki, a Le-Matoran, before. He introduced himself to you as the Green Tornado.(Either word for short.) His real name is something only his closest freinds are likely to learn. Aelynn, for instance, is probably the next one he would be likely to trust with that information. IC:"If you want help checking out Xa-Koro, then my friend Vorok might be of some help. He has some...experience there. It sounds like that matter of going to Xa-Koro is mostly resolved anyway. I was thinking that we should quick-build some more structures. We have such an influx of guests and new members that it would be good to house them. We could use more huts for permanent members. We may also have guests come through, so an inn would be useful as temporary housing and a source of revenue for the village. We really don't have much of an economy right now. A harbor would be useful to draw in traders. There is an inlet that would be useful for those purposes near the lake, but mountainous terrain inbetween could be a problem. If we can get a Toa of Earth out here, that could be fixed with a short tunnel. I heard a Matoran around here-not sure on the name. mention that agriculture would be a good idea, and a bula berry crop could be sold in other villages-it would give us something to trade. So as you can see, there's a lot of work to be done around here. Also, has anything been done about organization, and the recent...dark-matter..about the arsonist?"
