  1. I see myself as the personification of all Ninjago 2011 fans. The ones who love the original series more than the new one.I also see myself as a "noobish" artist, here.
  2. I am a little nervous about the voice actors. Frodo seemed flawless...but Faramir seemed a little monotone. He would be a good voice for Kopaka, though. :lol:I see alot has been kept true to the film. This certainly looks like they know what the fans want.
  3. Hm...I never thought of that shadow technique before. Then again, I was in MS paint when I created the shadow, not GIMP. Not like that would have changed anything.
  4. I wonder that too.Very good, considering for a beginner. I really love that sky. I recomend however, you add some detail on that hill he's standing on.EDIT: Cool you did make it yourself. ~GravityI noticed how bare the hill looked...but I couldn't find a proper way to texure it. All of the things I tried looked unrealistic.
  5. The...Cendox...I think. It certainly won't be the last one I ever buy, though. The internet has so many more.
  6. Oh yes. I would buy it.I am fasctinated with all the art that was created for BIONICLE.
  7. I created it myself in GIMP. A fantastic software, that is.
  8. I like the pose and color scheme. The shield/gun on one hand really contrasts well with the sword in the other
  9. My first real picture created with Microsoft Paint and GIMP (I just started using GIMP, by the way ).It depicts Kairu saying greetings to the Spirits (one of which is his Sensei) as they make their annual movement across the stars.http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaKanar/BNG/Avatars/sayinggreetingstothespirits.jpg
  10. Another great episode, wonderful job.^^And Gata, Ninjago is my favorite too. Mostly.
  11. Hm, an interesting surprise for people ordering a $50 or more set. Though the Hulk minifig is a little odd, being the same size as everyone else and all.
  12. I know you like 2011 more, so you'll be happy to hear that the miniland also features last year's Ice Dragon. And the fire dragon, as seen in this picture.Oh, epic. I thought it was just another dragon, I didn't notice it was Flame. I'm a terrible person. There's other 2011 content there as well-- two of the locations featured are the Monastery of Spinjitzu and the Fire Temple, both based on their appearances in the show. I've had a hard time finding photos showing either in detail, but there are a few videos floating around where you can catch a glimpse of both.Hm. I'd like to see the Monastery of Spinjitzu in detail sometime. It's unfortunate that the pictures are hard to find.

  14. They are very impressing. The graphics and humor are spectacular. The way it is layed out, it reminds me of an old Tom and Jerry-esque cartoon.
  15. I agree. When I heard about this, the first commercials came into my mind. Unfortunately, that isn't a good thing.I do not think the Heroes will be in costumes, that was outdated long ago. I'm a bit confused why you say that it unfortunately isn't a good thing that this movie will be like the commercials. I think that it would work out well if they are already saying that it will be "live-action".Kids+Acting= No profit. The actors in the commercials were horrible. I rather have HF in its own world. The thing is, it doesn't have to be kids necessarily, and Hollywood actors are different than average Danish children. This shows that the Hero Factory not only helps kids but also adults. ^_^Also, like said by Aanchir earlier, Hero Factory has had things take place and mentioned several times about the heroes visiting Earth, so it's not necessarily that it is out of Hero Factory's world. I guess we'll have to wait for some updates about this to know what it'll consist of.I knew that they referenced Earth and such, and I know Hollywood actors are better than random commercial children. ...But really, how well can one expect this to be executed with all the details we have now. It isn't exactly what sounds like a perfect quality film.
  16. Stormer is able to stand because every joint in his legs is reinforced with this piece.Remember Maxilos and Spinax? Maxilos had a similar piece, and we all know how well that worked.Very well.I've had Maxilos disassembled for some time now, but I still remember his very weak legs that made it nigh-impossible for him to stand up.Agreed. He has extremely weak legs. The only design flaw in the entire set.And it looks like they're doing the same thing with Stormer XL.I was going to say that, but thought against it. He seems different. Maxilos had thin legs with an awkward build...Stormer XL seems to have much stronger, more supportive, legs.Maybe, but I've found that those support pieces get weaker over time.Well, I don't know in the case of Stormer XL. I have no experience with HF parts and functions.

  19. Ironically, Ninjago recieved the mech. :lol:A mech would be very much welcome into the Hero Factory universe.

  21. BZP seems to enjoy shutting down. Ah well, at least its shutdowns aren't 8 months long.^^

  23. And you once again deliver an amazing piece of art. I absolutely love your space pictures.Mata Nui looks brilliant, every small detail. It captures alot of the old BIONICLE mixed with the newer "sci-fi" BIONICLE.I also like its simplicity. It has a select few objects and yet it shows so much.
  24. I remember him...and I got a 4+ set once...but I never actually recieved a real Jack Stone set.
