  1. YES! Actually, I think 4 fitted the theme the least. Sure, it's red, and sure, there are like two pieces of fire on it, but there's no layering of reds, oranges, and yellows! And while the wings look nice, they could be much improved had a few fire elements been put into them. So, GREAT JOB by four though, it's a lovely creation, but my vote went to 5.
  2. I actually enjoyed number 5 the most. To me, the lack of fire is what makes it scream "fire" at me. Plus, it's a miniscule build, which is just awesome.
  3. DUDE, POKORIX WOULD LOOK SWEET WITH A MINIGUN!!! Seriously, that's what I thought up until the point where I saw the weapon. It's cool, but also rather bland at the same time. The first one, Daykia, also looks pretty sweet.
  4. Was the "one-night quickie" an intentional slur or unintentional? ;) But anyways, great moc! The helmet thingy looks futuristic and appeals to me, and the hoverboard is also cool. Having experimented with several hoverboards, I know how hard it is, and thus, makes your effort even better (Though the board could be bigger). The colors flow nicely, and the guy just looks gorgeous. Great job!
  5. Looks FANTASTIC. The gatling guns (are those gatling guns?) look great, ingenious use of those wheels! I like the sword thingy, but the best part is the teal. While there isn't too much of it, it beats nothing. Creative leg design! Overall, great job!
  6. Okay, just want to say, looking at this thing TOTALLY reminds me of minecraft. Just sayin. But yeah, the model looks great! I like the volcano and the creative use of the masks in the river of lava, though the volcano's top seems way to, even, almost. Real volcanos should be jagged and rough, not smooth and on one level. But other than that, great job!
  7. All Ninjago 2012 sets were cool. I like the Snake sets the most.And...LLOYD GARMADON? THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN DO, LEGO? Arrrrrrgh. I hate stupid puns.
  8. Hmmm...Nice job! I've been inspired! Making my own weapons now. (I've got an FNP90, M16, Crossbow, Shotgun all done right now) Just gonna post them soon. Great job on your gun!
  9. *GASP* BLUE PINS!!!! It's not noticeable. Nice moc! The "head" is very nicely done; creative use of the Metru torso and the HF armor. The arms are nice as well, but I don't understand the concept of two identical arms. If you're performing surgery, don't you want diverse tools? I mean, human surgeons can get away with it because they have hands that can grip different tools, but this mechanical surgeon shouldn't be able to do that, should it? Maybe a multi tool would be better. Like a tool with different attachments. But anyways. The legs are a bit skimpy, but add to the overall creepy look your Moc generates. Great job!!
  10. Sigh...none of you guys get it, do you? THIS IS WOLVERINE!!!!!!Come on, "Hey bub," that's like his trademark! He's got claws! He looks like an X-man! The color scheme was the first X-men costume design. Well Smitty, did I nail it? (I hope I did, cause that would suck if it wasn't Wolverine)
  11. I disagree. his name IS kineti-CREEP. and he is creepy and sends shivers up (or maybe down) my spine. he looks like a demented spider-human-snake hybrid. I like him a lot, though the other one looks better. His legs are a stroke of brilliance, they add to the spider/creep feeling. Overall, great job!
  12. How much are you asking? I love this model! Looks like a Hero Factory set! Actually, that might not be a compliment... looks like what the Hero Factory sets SHOULD look like! The colors flow well, he has articulation a mortar, and an AWESOME JAW THAT CHOMPS RAWR RAWR RAWR CHOMP EAT EAT. I like his arms and legs the most. They look bulky.
  13. Oh man. Oh man. This thing is great! you've bulked up the arms, legs, and back. his new jetpack/propellor blade combo is amazing, and looks like it could actually propel him someplace. I like his legs, but his feet look too sleek for Rotor. I would suggest chunkier feet. His bulked up shoulders look cool too. The arms are also nice, and this moc actually looks big enough for the Axonn hand technique to work (most of the time, the Axonn hand looks bulky, garish, and unefficient.). You have totally transformed/revamped Rotor. Great job! LIKEY LIKEY LIKEY!!!!!10/10
  14. I like it! A VAST improvement on Corroder. Bulk's lion paw thingie looks cool, but not "bulkish." Overall, fantastic job (not much to comment on here, much to my disappointment)!10/10
  15. I must say, I hated him. Xplode and Meltdown, yes. Corroder, no. He seems WAY too disproportional for my liking. The claws are too big, his body is too small, and his legs are curled up and are connected to large clown feet. You have an excellent blend of silver and green, and an excellent idea, but the execution is just terrible. you did find an interesting way to emulate his back spines, however, points for that.Overall, 5/10
  16. Okay, I am in love. Meltdown is and always will be my favorite villain. You have done him justice in remodeling him as a 2.0/3.0/4.0 villain. The only concern I have is that his head juts out too far. Other than that, it''s perfect! the poseable Mantax claws are a nice touch, now he can actually grab something (though maybe not TOO strongly...), and his remodeled 'sludge blasters' are nice. Excellent use of the 2.0/3.0/4.0 armor. Great job (again)!10/10P.S. The pictures look fine to me...
  17. Neat. You managed to capture Xplode's chaotic, manical look perfectly with this Moc. The only flaw I see is the lower legs; they just seem to bulky to me. Plus, the Visorak leg is dark red, not bright red. The use of the Raw Jaw arms as shoulder pads is ingenious, and the yellow "claws" seem like overkill, which is TOTALLY Xplode. Again, the dark red is a garish blemish on this otherwise nice Moc. Great job again!9.5/10
  18. not bad! VERY cool torso design; I think it looks nice (other people might not agree), and the head design is also amazing. I like the use of the Raw Jaw hands, but not the legs. I think his foot could be remodeled, to tell you the truth. I like how you used the lightsaber blade to make eyes. I don't particularly like your pose when he's facing off against the minifigure, to tell you the truth. I think that it could be more menacing, as opposed to curious. But that's a minor flaw. Overall, nice job!10/10
  19. that's an interesting choice of armor you picked there for the legs...makes him look like he's wearing shorts :)I like it. True, the head kinda sticks out a bit, but you can't really fix that. His weapon would look SO much better if you attached a grey 3 pin to the other end of his hand and put two gears on it. Overall, nice job!9/10
  20. Hey, I liked the first Widget! Oh well, this improved version is so much better. I love the arms, but hate that big ring connecting them to the shoulder. Maybe a smaller, more unobtrusive ring. The body looks great, and the legs are just amazing. I saw nothing wrong with the first version, but your second version totally convinced me that the first version was bleh. Great job!
  21. Alright, fine. I just had the sudden feeling that SOMEBODY was patronizing me...which I hate.I don't see the problem of playing a linear game on forums. All final bosses are unlocked by yours truly, when he sees that you've completed enough. 5. Exactly. you can't have two jallers.1. Nope.2. If you actually read my TBRPG, you would see that your statement is wrong.3. who cares?6. why?
  22. Excuse me, but last time I checked, and RPG is a ROLE-PLAYING game. And, unless I'm mistaken, playing a game where you're a character who must reach certain goals which help unlock a final endboss battle counts as a ROLE-PLAYING game. Hey. When was the last time you saw Jaller Mahri set fire underwater? His sword can flare momentarily, but if you want elemental powers underwater, tough luck. Kongu Mahri using "air currents" really feels stupid to me, and unless you disagree, I'm not changing it. I could make certain characters have elemental abilities, but then I would have people like you griping about how unfair it is that Hewkii can summon stone sculptures. I would put in detail, but I wanted to save people some time and have a (semi) easy to read essay. If you'd like, I could PM you a description. My TBRPG is all you really need to know. Details are superficial. Hey, come on. As I explained in the top, an RPG is a role-playing game. The person playing doesn't have to have control over everything. Look at Super Mario Galaxy 2. They don't have control over the map, the monster,s everything. They don't even have a character choice! But look at how successful that game was! Unless I'm mistaken, FPS are RPG's. And, a Bionicle FPS would actually be pretty frickin awesome. If you hate having an arrow telling you what to do, that's your problem. Don't blame my game for your problem. If you think it's a common problem most people have, then look at how successful Call of Duty is.
  23. Bionicle TBRPG Contest 22 – Shadow of the Barraki By: Awesomeness Introduction: Setting: The game takes place in Mahri Nui. Backstory: For centuries, the Barraki have been training and mutating different sea monsters for use as an army. When the previous leader died, his son replaced him. Tired of waiting for the “right moment,” he directed a preemptive strike at the matoran. With their primitive weapons, the matoran didn’t stand a chance. The hydrukas that faithfully served the matoran were brought down to the Pit and were mutated. One matoran led a daring escape with a band of his friends; he climbed out of Mahri Nui and up onto Voya Nui. He told the Toa of what had happened. The Toa argued over the matter for days, until it was decided that Jaller, Hewkii, and Hahli would travel down and help the matoran, while Kongu, Nuparu, and Matoro would try and round up reinforcements. Jaller, Hewkii, and Hahli purposefully mutate themselves into water-breathing Toa and travel down to help the matoran. Characters and Creatures: The characters involved are Jaller, Hewkii, and Hahli Mahri and Kongu, Nuparu, and Matoro Inika. The Barraki will be the antagonists, and the player will be able to access them upon completion of the game. Creatures include all manners of aquatic beasts. Everything from the Bionicle universe (Mahri Nui) is included, though I will be adding to the names.Story:Setting: This game takes place in Mahri Nui. Outline and Basic Play: The player will be able to choose from Jaller, Hewkii, and Hahli Mahri for the first half of the game. Once he/she completes half of the game, Kongu, Nuparu, and Matoro Mahri will be unlocked. Upon beating the game, the player will be given the option to restart, with the possibility of playing the part of the Barraki. Player Control: The player has some control over where the story goes. There are set goals that the player has to accomplish in order to beat the game, but those goals can be met in numerous different ways. There will be multiple spots throughout the game where the player’s actions greatly influence an occasion later on in the story. Quest? This game is a questing game, meaning that there is something that they try to achieve. The game is not a MMORPG, rather, the player only sees him/herself. The ultimate motive for the Mahri is to free the matoran from the tyrannical rule of the Barraki, while the role of the Barraki is to eliminate the Mahri through any means possible. Requirements: Character: Members will be taking real Bionicle characters Made-up Characters: Halfway into the game, along with unlocking the rest of the Mahri, the player also unlocks a Character Creation Portal. This allows the player to create their own character that can be used in the game. The portal is basically a mix-and-match game where the player can choose from different masks, weapons, and armor from pre-existing Bionicle sets. The sole purpose of this is to allow for some variation; the characters created by the player are only a slight improvement upon the characters given. Character Profiles: Jaller: Jaller is given a Power Sword that can burst into flame that stuns the opponent momentarily. This can only be used once per battle. His mask allows increase of critical hits. Faithful to the sets, Jaller also has a Hahnah crab that carries his Cordak Blaster. The crab doesn’t serve much purpose otherwise. Hewkii: Hewkii’s weapons have been revamped from the set’s version. His weapons now consist of two electric flails. His mask of gravity allows him to alter gravity. It is critical during a cave battle, where the only way to beat the boss is to use Hewkii’s mask and flip gravity, causing the boss’s vulnerable stomach to be exposed. Hahli: Hahli still has her claws, which are just standard melee weapons. Her mask has been changed, however, and is the reason why one would want to play as her. It allows her to summon various creatures that do battle with her…or against her (think Kongu Mahri’s REAL mask). Hahli also retains her wings, allowing her to move much faster. Kongu: Kongu’s equipment stays the same. He uses two Cordak Blasters. However, his mask has been changed. He now uses a mask of detection, allowing him to find shortcuts. For Example: Instead of having to go through a ravine and fight numerous monsters in there, his mask of detection reveals platforms that one can just hop on across the ravine. Matoro: Matoro’s weapons have been changed to twin ninja swords. His mask of reanimation allows him to reanimate the enemies he has killed and have them “serve” him briefly. Nuparu: Nuparu now uses a scythe. His mask ability stays the same, allowing him to move silently. This makes getting past patrolling guards in certain levels a lot easier.Rules: Battle Rules: The winner of the battle is the one who survives. However, if one is playing and loses to a monster, but has managed to score impressive “combos” (multiple attacks grouped in an effective manner), then that player resurrects and the monster dies. Shops: Shops are located at strategic cities throughout the map. As the game progresses, the shop items increase in value. Items bought in the shop are sent to the player’s inventory, where they can be used or equipped, and a copy of them is sent to the Character Creation Portal, where it can be used in creating a character. Upgrades can be performed on any piece of equipment at any time, so long as the player is a. high enough level and b. has enough sand dollars (currency). Experience: The player gains experience after beating monsters and completing checkpoints. There is also a list of achievements the player can earn that grant huge experience. The player reaches a new level after getting enough experience points. The number of experience points needed per new level is simply that level squared. For example: at level 4, the player needs 25 total experience to get to level 5, where he/she needs 36 total experience to get to level 6. As the player levels up, he/she gets access to more areas, equipment, and upgrades.
  24. I realize. Just pointing that out. A full white Gelu helmet would look nicer... >
  25. wow. not bad at all!I agree with Lord Darkon; red and white don't usually go together well. The key word there is USUALLY. However, on this moc, I have decided to completely rethink my philosophy. you have turned it into an amazing color blend that I might try using in the future... The only color complaints I have is the use of the green glatorian head (however, I understand that it was requested). His staff looks wicked cool, and reminds me of Vastus. The custom limbs are VERY nice; I especially like the weird bohrok-claw-thingie on his arms. His custom torso looks amazing, excellent use of the reddish bohrok eyes there. Overall, nice job!10/10
