  1. ok for awhile i thought that it was just something to like just to be cool (like being a hipster) but then i thought it might actually be a legitimately good show, so i watched it yeah i was right the first time whats going on guys like eugh i couldnt even get through the first ten minutes
  2. he was super interesting for about ten minutes in revenge of the sith and then it got to be just lightning bolt lightning bolt lightning bolt why am i still a character. in the original trilogy (and by that i mean just jedi.), he was less of a character and more of a scary monster.
  3. OOC: alex go on AIM for like, 2 seconds, whenever cha can. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "With all due respect, sir." Hanlon muttered, rising, his crossbow in his hands, helmet already back on his head. He looked like the poster boy for a movie, or a video game, with his long barreled crossbow being held at an awkward angle, and his armor looking menacing. "I don't know how necessary swords will be." EDIT: omgee i made some fans
  4. victini is great in trick room. real shame he doesn't get any sort of recovery.
  5. OOC: mwuahaha i asked that first >:] im so intuitive. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "One of the most poorly organized operations I've ever seen, but it was a standard meet up. The rest of us were Monroe's body guards, more or less." Hanlon remarked, bitterly. Renard had entered, gave him a funny look, and left just as quickly. He didn't care.
  6. If it's the building you really like, you can now you Creative Mode. You are invulnerable, have unlimited materials, and can fly. the uh, alpha or whatever its called was like that too, i think. and i do enjoy hunting materials, but ugh its more frustrating then rewarding unless you return to spawn every ore pocket.
  7. OOC: magic. i worked it out with alex. it being old warlock equipment is why its up there, but i'll agree the vocabulary he has is a little above and beyond. and not -really- sci-fi, its pretty up to par with modern military, but i'm just nitpicking that detail.
  8. i didn't understand what this was about until i read 'my little pony' then i inferred. meanwhile ...what, really, ponies...
  9. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Hanlon turned his head, and nodded at his teammate. He hadn't seen this one before, but anybody who had the skin to approach him was better then this lot. "Riot armor I salvaged from a campaign over in Xorov a few years back. Had it refurbished by the techies here, said it was a prototype. Officials were fine with me wearing it." He exaggerated. There was no doubt in his mind that if anybody who wasn't of his reputation or stature would get away with breaking uniform, even if it came with such a drastic improvement in safety and efficiency. "Helmet's completely busted, though. Next to none of the features work."
  10. my AMR in new vegas is glitched- has a higher value and doesn't seem to degrade. ^^, JC: 1 bethesda: 0
  11. uh, didn't it specifically say in the pilot he's the bad guy? i mean
  12. Võimkasus are very rare, and thus, all aliens all have guns, a military, spaceships, etc. They aren't very prominent, I only added a section to explain them. In all, it's more like science fantasy, not sci-fi.And five factions is not a lot. Think of the real world. Not all wars are two-sided, you know. k just tryna help buddy gotcha. talking about each species' technological advancements would be a good idea, because there's the star wars level, and then theres the halo level, and in sci-fi (sci-fa? lol) it's important to be able to distinguish. and while five factions is a lot, it certainly isn't ideal, and can be off-putting.
  13. surprise value, that is literally it. but u-turn is always a great move to run. on a mono-dark team i had, my zoro was disguised as hydreigon. they're rather similar, offensively, and hydreigon scares a -lot- of pokemon out in monotype.
  14. minecraft is so ughhh i played for a bit, made a sweet house that was like, built out of a cliff. i tried expanding, hunting for diamond and whatnot, but i kept dying. i eventually set it to peaceful, went on another huge exploration, got a few dozen diamond, fell in lava, died, haven't played since.
  15. i just wanna go ahead and say right now that you're trying to do too much. elements in a science fiction setting is a little ridiculous, and should stay in camelot-esque genres. you also have a -lot- of factions, much more then i care to try and memorize. i also want to say that having -all- the factions paragraphs isn't very appealing at all. i haven't given it a full read through, so take my comments with a grain of salt, i'll try and get a fuller review to you shortly. edit: ok i read more than i thought i did- so to sum it up, it's super awesome aliens that have no weapons and a buncha humans, and they're all in space?
  16. 'start of the first season'? isn't it only like four episodes in? anyways, i watched the pilot. i had a few criticisms of the writing, and the whole second half was just jurassic park, but i wasn't turned off by it. it didn't spark my interest enough to watch any of the others though. it's a cool setting, and the acting was good for a TV show. i personally found there was too much dinosaur. there was a ton of untapped potential in the form of family drama, and the colonization of dinosaur land in itself was a pretty cool setting, but i still wanted to see less dinosaur. jurassic park did dinosaurs, and the media should've been done after that. it's akin to the vampire nonsense that twilight started, albeit nowhere near as fleshed out.
  17. uncharted 2 wasn't that amazing. OT: i've got nothing. other then new vegas, i haven't played many games from this year. killzone 3 was fantastic but i doubt it'll get GOTY.
  18. OOC: OH, ToA as in his initials. myyyyy bad. im dumb today ok. sorry ToA, no beef awight (: anyways did everything already happen? hai ya alex go on aim k.. -.-' or koth haaay budday whats going onnn IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Jason grunted weakly out of restlessness, and lifted his helmet, staring at the red tinted lenses. The right one had a thin 'X' scratched on it. It had originally just been a slash, but he had added in the second, completing the 'X'. The military was woefully under equipped, so even the trashed helmet was an improvement over the stock uniforms, which offered next to nothing in terms of protection. If he had it his way, he'd have the draft abolished. That would free up enough military funding to supply our soldiers with equipment that doesn't make us look entirely bankrupt. He put his helmet in his lap, and looked up. He made brief eye contact with Orion, but his squad mate looked away. Everybody was skulking uncomfortably in their own corners. Brotherhood wasn't much of a practiced concept among the members of Maker's Fist, which was fine with him. Snipers worked in two's, being part of a squad, while not unfamiliar to him, was not preferred.
  19. OOC: ugh i feel so bad asking this but, ToA? IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Jason shook his head, entering the courtyard a little after the rest of Maker's Fist, and sighed as he walked through the doors. This was a mission? If this doesn't say something about the current state of our military I don't know what could. Unorganized and unprofessional, and yet the cream of the crop. He decided to blame the Emperor. He took a seat on one of the benches beside the fountain, and reached to his neck. A metallic hiss whispered into the courtyard as the neck brace unclasped, and he was able to slide his helmet over his head. His scars were faint and hard to see in the slim light of the nighttime, but his stern expression wasn't. He was able to keep himself from scowling, albeit just barely, as he examined the rest of his team for the first time with his own eyes.
  20. OOC: silly? awesome, if only my character wasn't such a stiff. gotcha. i'll IC in a little bit, just getting settled
  21. OOC: outbreak? old rpg i guess. anyways i took my time getting home so i guess it's my fault i missed everything. just to clarify, the rest of the team is just idling in the courtyard?
  22. that was actually brought up earlier, making an impact when i proposed a fallout themed RPG in the RPG thread- it does seem to have a sizable following on this site. would anybody else have an interest in it?
  23. new vegas is a much better game. fallout 3 was fantastic, but its story was just a story, and the karma system ultimately didn't do anything. new vegas introduced options- the reputation system is much better then the karma system ever would be, and karma was included just to emphasize that (although karma in new vegas was way too easy to get.) 3 had a better story, but NV had stories. options. i never thought i'd say this about fallout 3, but new vegas makes it look like just a normal shooter. the only thing i felt i missed when i played new vegas was the subway system. i loved fighting raiders and monsters in the subways in 3. that, and i got the feeling that new vegas was like, 100% on course until the last month and they realized they didn't have any sound recorded, and butchered that aspect of the game. @Light of the Lake: i don't have a steam account and i generally dont buy things online- so unless they're free, i doubt i'll get it from there.
  24. have around 50 hours on fallout 3 and around 80 on new vegas, im just doing a hardcore runthrough now. i must say new vegas is mind numbingly huge compared to fallout 3- even without DLCs. i'm looking for copies of the first two, still. while i do love the last two to death, i can't call myself a fanboy until i beat the heck out of the first two as well, and i probably won't get started on those until i've platinum'd new vegas.
