  1. 2/5. stay gold, ponyboy. and is that a pip boy on her leg...
  2. IC[Jason Hanlon - Xorov] "I'll give it sixty seconds." He muttered, his tone calm and professional, and began counting mentally. "Ma'am, were you able to gather on the exchange between him and our contact? His exit was made hastily enough."
  3. IC[Jason Hanlon - Xorov] "Should we search?" He inquired, as a loud crash from inside caught his attention. His head snapped towards the bar. I don't remember the citizens being so rowdy. Impressive what alcohol that wasn't OK-ed into the military can do. "I volunteer."
  4. OOC: i just saw 'went for the door', never saw him actually leave. MAYBE ITS CUZ ALEX IC'S TWICE PER HOUR IC[Jason Hanlon - Xorov] "Nothing back there other then a bunch of drunken wastes of skin." He muttered somewhat under his breath, as there was a very good possibility the commander was behind him. "Did he go on ahead?"
  5. OOC: kinda rushed through all the action thur. IC[Jason Hanlon - Xorov] The soldier allowed himself one second to examine the chaos with scorn. Delinquents. His thought process was cut short as a missile also known as a beer bottle arced through the corner of his eye, and he ducked sharply as the glass exploded above him. He took a sharp look to his left. Orion was gone. He pushed through the door, and greeted by his partner, as well as by (ugh i keep forgetting her last name) Renard, the Exec. "Anybody hurt?" He asked. "And where's Monroe?"
  6. IC[Jason Hanlon - Xorov] "But as a general rule, don't kill civilians." Hanlon muttered, mostly unaffected by the Commander's speech. Cover his mouth? Check. Don't stand out? Well, check, he stuck out more within his own people then he would in Xorov. Kill people quickly? Oh, definitely.
  7. IC[Jason Hanlon - Dark Pathway] Jason just grunted in approval, anxious to get this operation underway. He was unsure as to what he made of Orion. He seemed fresh out of training, and didn't look to have too much experience. Then again, with the Emperor ruling as he was, this man could've been top of his class.
  8. IC[Jason Hanlon - Dark Pathway] "Affirmative." Hanlon replied, liking this less and less. Unless they could coax him out, he'd be more than useless in any sort of fight that could break out. Sniping in a bar would be a miserable thing to try, and just working with a machete wouldn't get him far. Fortunately he was equipped in state of the art riot armour, which did provide some security.
  9. i could be mean and suggest that just let the better RPer win. it would be hard to grow, definitely, but it would be motivation to write meaningful posts and not just nonsensical drivel.
  10. IC[Jason Hanlon - Dark Pathway] "Just heard something." He muttered, and relaxed, then turned and continued following the group with his arms folded, idly wondering what that sound was. It could've just been his imagination, but he doubted that. More likely than anything else was it was just a gag concocted by the magic user. "Xorov's a big place." He said at last, breaking the silence. "Where are we meeting our informant?" OOC: and come to think of it, what time of day is it? twilight means either sundown or sun up IIRC- but it'd be a lot cooler if it was at night
  11. anybody familiar with pokemon online? i've been spending a lot of time there, recently. weezing and umbreon form a great defensive core.
  12. OOC: thanks for waiting for me GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS IC[Jason Hanlon - Dark Pathway] The robotic looking soldier didn't seem phased by the ghouls that were chattering in and out of his head. Not much phased him. He mostly ignored the banter of his squad mates, and just kept walking at a brisk enough pace to remain at the back. He had not been impressed by the group so far, and he doubted he'd feel comfortable with even Monroe having their backs. A sudden snap tore through the pathway from behind them. Jason stopped and turned, hand already on his machete. He surveyed the blackness behind them, and he narrowed his eyes. This mission had strange written all over it, and the last thing he wanted was for it to be his last.
  13. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "I think they'll love me when I get a working helmet." He replied, and folded his arms. While it was true that he had yet to see any armour similar to his that wasn't, the techies had confirmed that it was not one of a kind. He knew he'd get a replacement one day. It was remarkably high tech, compared to the other equipment commonly used by the military. Or maybe it wasn't high tech at all, and just magical. Either way. "I take it you've never been to Xorov, then."
  14. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "I appreciate the offer, but no thanks. The only people wearing gloves is going to kill is the people I didn't miss because I just shivered." Jason replied, his interest in the woman already running thin. He didn't need to concern himself with distractions. He glanced up, at the CO. He looked twice as unnerved as Jason had ever been since he had joined the military. "Are you okay, sir?"
  15. OOC: oh, sure. sorry. this IC/OOC thing is new to me, since the sites i'm used to have seperate threads for the two. i'll use both from now on. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "I'll take risks after this war is over." Jason replied, yet to lose his cool. This woman did strike him as an odd one, but she had yet to be 'nasty'. Perhaps she was in a good mood, or perhaps Monroe and Renard were just trying to unnerve him. "Besides, sometimes I get cold."
  16. alright, i'll just say he interpreted it as a joke. after all, i did s'all good!
  17. lol, 'this man.' shoulda introduced myself. feels weird to do that in a military setting without having a rank, though. *coughcough* IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "Ma'am." Jason said, and nodded at the lady, extending a gloved hand. "Jason Hanlon. Sorry to disappoint."
  18. my mistake, i'll fix that. and the hike comment seemed like a joke.
  19. mmkay, thanks. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Jason just nodded at the Lieutenant, keeping a poker face under his helmet. People asked him why he wore it- he said it looked good. Which was true. But he also wore it to protect his emotions. Were the XO aware that Hanlon was scoffing at her joke, she probably wouldn't have thought too kindly of it. Monroe at least seems disciplined. Let's hope this job doesn't get completely botched. "Very good. I hadn't done a headcount." He lied. "I'll be sure to kill her when the job is done."
  20. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Jason's eyebrow rose beneath his helmet. While the comment about the magic user did spark his interest, he decided not to comment. Instead, he just nodded. Who is this man to live in Xorov, then? And why do I get the feeling that I'll need to be assassinating him? "Very good, sir. Who are we waiting on, then?"
  21. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] "I've seen eleven years of battle, sir." He loosened up, already liking the CO. Although he didn't like to admit it, he was nowhere near as well known as he would've liked to be, despite almost half his life being spent with these people. It obviously took more then eleven years and a lot of bodies to make a name. "My information on the mission is limited, sir. I'd appreciate a thorough briefing, if we're still waiting for somebody."
