  3. OOC: saw alex post, was excited cuz its like noon, saw just ###### OOC, was sad. anyhorse i got the second lead in our winter play CLAP.
  4. i thought you were supposed to dig straight down o-o and, dude, try storage. 13 picks? what you using, wood?
  5. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] It took him about fourteen seconds to stop blinking wildly, and collect himself, the same amount of time it took the Guard to summon the Maker's Fist to the Emperor's quarters. He only heard the last part of the message, but the point was clear just from that. As he followed Monroe through the swinging doors of the courtyard and through the corridors of the palace, he opened the braces on his helmet again and slid it off his head. The Emperor wasn't a person who he got to see very often. He contemplated dropping his coat somewhere, too, but decided that it'd be best to hang onto it. It sheltered him, not only from dust and weather, but from the looks he would've gotten without it. He was still the same sniveling little boy he was before his mother died, but he'd be ###### if anybody ever learned that.
  6. gonna go right ahead and say that developing specific characters in an rpg where you play as an entire species might be a little beside the point.
  7. OOC: alex posted the ranks, im a happy camper. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Sargent Five-Dropped Jason C. Hanlon was a soldier who had not once shaken in his boots in ten long years of campaigns, crusades, assassinations, and trials. Gung ho, he was, but it was backed by a spine that was spoken of and respected by all in the military. Was he a legend? That was debatable. What wasn't, were his traits. He was brave, strong, and just. He could make a shot from five hundred meters. He was the one his allies looked to, his commander's enjoyed, and his trainers were proud of. But as the magic of the most powerful warlocks was able to crack and dance in his mind, even he was forced back into the whiny, sniveling shell that was him as a recruit when his eleven years of training and discipline was unable to hold back a whispered, "Oh s***."
  8. Actually, because nations hold greater interest than individuals, IMO. can't develop a nation.
  9. considering the last few sonic games were terrible i dont think you should be rooting for it to get GOTY too hard.
  10. rap. because im repressed. i listen to anything that sounds good. i think i favor rap because im a poet at heart, and rap songs (good ones, at least) are moreso poems read to music then any other genre can come close to.
  11. i, for one, was entirely unaware that there was a game called sonic generations. That's because it's not out yet. then i blame poor marketing.
  12. i, for one, was entirely unaware that there was a game called sonic generations.
  13. pet peeve of mine that everybody staples 'u mad' and trolls together. no good troll would ever say that... not really relevant, i guess, though. i'm definitely glad, though. pokemon gets enough flak for being immature.
  14. OOC: ugh alex we need ranks :S IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] Hanlon's eyebrow climbed two inches beneath his helmet, impressed. The man looked shabby and unorthodox, but he had heard similar things about himself, and more importantly he seemed disciplined. Practiced, at the very least, which made a better first impression then much else could have. "Jason Hanlon." He replied, regarding the newcomer with curiosity.
  15. IC[Jason Hanlon - Orcen] The soldier took his seat, back on the bench near the fountain. The huge hinged doors to the courtyard creaked open, and he glanced over as another member of Maker's Fist walked through the door. The team was clearly a lot bigger than he suspected it was, either that, or the Empire was in desperate need of new management. He rose and took a few steps towards the newcomer, saluting as he did. "Soldier." He employed the greeting once again, and once again he looked to be the only one to do so.
  16. still always the 'we're just civilians. if they beat the military they'll probably beat us' so i dont think riots would be such a huge problem as just the rest of the fleet showing up and engaging in war, which i doubt slaughtering all former inhabitants will prevent. but that really has nothing to do with the rpg -itself- so i guess im just nitpicking!
