  6. is the 'you can breed ditto with any poke to get their dw ability' theory true? that's the only benefit i see to voting ditto, as imposter is just broken...
  7. if i'm understanding it, i'll use your logic, bb: all love songs are terrible and boring if you aren't in love. does that sound like something you'd say?most reggae music and the slower, more soothing rap songs (usually about cannabis or whatnot) are written to appeal to people under the influence or whatever subject is in question.so unless you're just saying that no reggae artist should be popular, i'm going to kindly ask you why you hate love songs.
  8. who said anything about quality standard?come on, this isn't too difficult.
  9. translation: i have no comeback and you're actually righti don't see anybody mentioning liking bay. as a matter of fact, if i used him as a comparison to something i just deemed derrogatory, what do you think that- oh forget it.
  10. forensic evidence isn't flashy or anything michael bay can include in a movie.i don't recall ever saying he couldn't do it- i said it'd be difficult. on an unrelated note, i've found it difficult to be the devil's advocate on this site.
  11. if they're a staple of science fiction, what is that telling you about science fiction.its not hard to write a city in space but its hard to make it interesting.
  12. the second part (and mostly the first part.) was directed at alex.androids and lasers are fine and good but at the end of the day, kinda gimmicky. space stations have the lovely side effect of being delightfully difficult to write. outside of maybe overpopulation or some sort of broken government, it's more difficult thematically. granted, a broken government does sound interesting.@ the aforementioned alex, thank you, the thought of its time frame hadn't crossed my mind in the slightest. i do appreciate that comment and it has clearly helpe- oh im just being a prick
  13. i have no interest in being ponified but i wanted to say the jango fett pony looks fantastic
  14. define sci fi. if it's going to take place on a space station, we don't need space ships, we don't need light speed, the only thing we could get from the sci-fi genre is laser weapons or the occasional robot. are either of those necessary?as for your so called 'easy counter' to my argument, it'd need to be a city or something along those lines to prevent the 'ok, i've been working with you for five years.' modern space stations don't have enough people to maintain an RPG, and god knows they don't have enough people for a COURT.
  15. one of my all time favourites is actually rather underground- those people being fortune family. a few of their tracks (the one that immediately comes to mind is take me away and to a lesser extent, my energy) are just insanely intelligently, passionately written songs, but still the rap industry is owned by people like lil wayne and everybody else who's more doped up than charlie sheen fanboys.
  16. space station sounds really restrictive. unless it takes place right when the station was populated, you'd logically know most secrets about most people there, unless you want a space station thats actually a city in which case why does it even need to be in space.
  17. think you just missed the point of 'generic'.skyrim and, to a lesser extent, carrion stair make me want a generic sword and spell RPG. carrion is a little restrictive for my tastes, but i guess it has a monopoly on the genre for the time being.
  18. and if the message gets across in a grammatically coherent way, then it's mission accomplished. hate to say it, but we're not getting graded here. if i'm too lazy to hit shift then it's not a bit deal. several people all across the internet do it, and if you have a problem with people who don't use capitalization then maybe the internet isn't the right place for you. after all, if lack of capitalization is what you're whining about, you haven't even seen the worst of what people on the internet can do to the english language. besides, it just makes you sound like an annoying grammar nazi. you don't see me complaining about how you didn't use a semicolon where you were supposed to in your most recent post, do you? no, because i'm not obnoxious.ladies, ladies, you're both pretty. and probably both have better things to do than talk about. BB, i think he was just pointing out how everybody just beat you to the punch in the original post. the capital comment was snarky but it made him feel special, and that's all that matters.
  19. soo jealous of people who already have skyrim. my hearts aching over the reviews but i'm refusing to buy it until my play finishes. priorities, eh.
