OOC: i'd apologize for being inactive but it looks like me being MIA completely sucked the life out of you guys so i might have to do more than apologize.well anyways, i've been grounded for the last week and this next upcoming week, thank you mom, but my dad is giving me an hour (shh) so i get to tell ya'll why i can't be around to change your lives for better or worse. i might try and IC in a bit.

A giant inflatable SPARTAN was being towed by a Falcon overhead, and the bedazzled cry of a child to a few feet behind him was enough to put a smile on his face and a spring in his step.The eagle on his shoulder was not entirely unnoticed. An Elite behind him chuckled and slapped the emblem scarred onto his shoulder plate. "Hey, go out there." Startled, Marcus turned, eyebrows arched, but to this the Elite only pushed him, sending him stumbling forward, and he clumsily burst into the parade. Awkwardly, the Brute tried to stumble back into the crowd, but the Elite blocked him. "C'mon buddy, rep the other races!" The same child from before cried excitedly. "Mommy, we have a gorilla in our army!"Flattered but still unsure as to what a gorilla was, Marcus waited for the Scorpion to pass and the foot soldiers to enter the scene, where he proudly stepped into line behind an ODST, wearing a grin that split his face like an energy sword.

this was my point (and im not surprised anybody missed it)- he originally described indestructible zombies that couldn't die or be cured. there was no hope of ever getting out alive. there's just a handful of people biding their time. if you can't win, why fight?

He enjoyed his time serving a lot more than he enjoyed his breaks- after the first two days of straight sleep, it was a lot of sitting and watching soap operas of Elites with human babies. He doubted he'd ever fit in with the humans, despite wanting to with every fiber of his enormous being.A Falcon raced overheard, disrupting his thought process. He picked his helmet out from under his arm, and pushed it up against his head, and listened in to the comm chatter for a bit. He didn't catch or understand most of it- his grasp of English wasn't much better than most Brutes, but he did make out 'EMP' a few times.Emp? Have any of my fellow soldiers developed a drug problem? Now, of all times!

im going to immediately present the point of that there is no point in your rpg.if zombies are invincible, they are everywhere, and there is no hope to eradicate them, there is no point in playing that RPG. you can develop a character that will die, and there is no hope to avoid that. other then finding some sort of rocket ship to fly them to a new planet, there is no story to be told as the outcome is already there.i will agree, however, that zombies are more often than not fodder. making them stronger is definitely a good idea, but if you can't deal with them in any way, shape, or form, presents the 'whats the use' problem. i dont feel like i've gotten my point across, but for the life of me i doubt i will, seeing as its 12:30. take this post with a grain of salt.

i voted lugia.multiscale wont affect it all that much since not much can OHKO anyway, what with those gargantuan defenses. but i've been enjoying ubers a lot lately (mewtwo absolutely wrecks), and ditto is absolutely rage inducing unless your running a stall team.

if uncharted 2 wasn't decorated with 512 different colours of overrated i'd be more interested. u3 picked the worst time to be released, what with all the other titles coming out for the christmas rush.

thats moreso applicable to -all- prequels, be it RPG, novel, or movie.

ive been on this site long enough to know what cool dude means and just because of that *slapfight* being linear doesnt have much to do with one character making a difference, but i guess that's beside the point now. anyways linear storylines translate ooookaaay into RPGs. i find they're often the fastest growing RPGs but never the longest lasting. i'll agree that you can be too sandbox as without some moderator plot, it's just boring. nevertheless, i have no idea who'd want to run a linear fallout rpg.
