  1. This is a poll concerning consolidating four species into two. Before you decide your opinion on this proposal, I encourage you to read all the way through the idea. This sort of retconning is the sort that has been called for frequently. However, for those of you who think these sorts of retcons are silly anyway as Generation One ended five years ago, please be polite to those of us for whom Bionicle’s first generation lives on. A short while back, I was scrolling through the “Simplifying the Species List” topic which got me thinking along those lines. (I’ve always been supportive of the idea of less species, especially when I look at BS01’s unnamed species list, but this made me more serious about the idea.) Not long afterwards, I came up with a theory of my own. Various parts of my idea were discussed in the “Simplifying the Species List (again)” topic later on, although none of them reached the full extent of my idea, yada-yada-yada. So without further ado… Behold!! Here’s my theory: Conjurer is part of the same species as The Shadowed One. Tyrant is part of the same species as Ancient. Both of these races are based on the same island. At some point during the war on Ancient’s home island (which I will refer to as the Ancient War), Tyrant gave up trying to make something of the war. He left the island, found another southern island that he conquered, and harbored plans to add to his kingdom and power. At some point during the Ancient War, Conjurer gave up trying to make something of the war. He left the island, found another southern island that he conquered, and harbored plans to add to his kingdom and power. (These, of course, were frustrated as Matoran make notoriously poor conquering armies.)Points Four and Five are not in the order they happened; they are interchangeable. Here’s the evidence: TSO and Conjurer both have similar heads and builds. Their race is related to, but not necessarily the same as Krekka’s species. Ancient and Tyrant both have similar heads, tails, and claw hands (but not Claw Hands J). The fact that all of them might have been rivals on their island may provide additional reasons why Conjurer and Tyrant are so insolent to The Shadowed One and Ancient. The fact that powers (and to some extent, anatomy too) vary is of no consequence: anyone in the war may have been experimented on or modified, and that says nothing of the possible accidents that happen in Bionicle. Both TSO and Conjurer either claims to have or actually have powers of disintegration. Additionally, Tyrant is impervious to extreme cold and Ancient’s home island is one of “shadows and ice.” Just a thought. Here are the benefits: It would consolidate four species into two. It would increase the significance of both races and also show multiple occurrences of them. As someone else said when I pitched the idea to Greg Farshtey, it would increase the significance of the war, not leaving it as little more than an insignificant conflict with no effects outside of the one island. Expanding on our knowledge of this war would add depth to the events that would result in the birth of the Dark Hunters. Even the Skakdi civil war had its effects on the rest of the universe—why wouldn’t this?I’ve run this theory by Greg and he says he’d be fine with it if the community is. Tell me if there’s anything you need clarified. I may edit this proposal to add new information and evidence. Please do not vote until you’re absolutely certain nothing can change your mind. I only recently became a member, but yesterday I was reading through one or two pages of the What’s up w/ the rampant canonization topic, so I’m well aware of the ideas of both sides. I obviously support canonization to a point, but I do see very good arguments against the LMB activity of late. I will try to make a good effort to sway you in support of this. If this actually does work, I have another theory to consolidate races further, but only if this works. Edit: Okay, I'm sorry. Either only Premier members can make polls or something went wrong. Whatever. Consider this not a poll but a proposal. How embarrassing...
  2. So last year at NYCC Lego showed off all of the gold masks, (fire, water, earth, jungle, stone, ice, creation, and the skull spider mask) and they hate already given 7of those eight away, so I wanted to make this topic to be a topic where people come up with ideas on how and when Lego will be giving the mask of creation away, if they give it away.

  4. This is the first Self-MOC I've ever made, and I had a bucket full of all my brown bricks set aside for this occasion, but when I finally decided to build it, I couldn't find that bucket, so the bricks that aren't the same color on both sides are just bricks that will be replaced with brown ones, "I once was a young adventurer like you, then I took an epic to the face. 5. Hello everyone this is my first epic The Return of the Toa. Review Topic link http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/13920-review-topic-the-return-of-the-toa/ This may be a little different from most epics due to my writing style . It will be Written mainly in a script format so when you read it each character`s name will be on the left side like this. Character 1 - Hello. Character 2- Oh hello there . If something is written with in these [] it means that it is a action done by the stated character . Anyway now that the rules for the series are over here is the series prolog . Prolog. Narrator-wellcome my friends we gather again to hear the legends of the Toa . Long ago a mighty battle was fought here on SpheresMagna between the evil makuta and the mighty Mata Nui . Their battle was a hard one and many died in the battle but eventually with the Help of the Toa tahu and the other Toa of the world were able to weaken the makuta where Mata nui could destroy is body and burry it beneath the world . That was many thousands of years ago and since then the Toa eventually completed their destinies and became Turaga . before long the Toa had all but died out and eventually there legend slipped in to myth . The Turaga tried to keep the legends of the toa alive but they could not eventually the matoren of spheresmagna just thought of them as stories meant for a nice night by the fire , But soon three matoren would soon find that the legends where true . ACT 1 SCENE 1 [Ry a po-Matoren walks out of his condo in New Metru Nui and watches the ships fly past and then sits down on his patio sighing as a Ga-Matoren named Asa walks out to meet him ] Asa- Ry are you alright ? You never come out here and just sit unless something is wrong . Ry- I`m fine Asa , I have just been thinking what it would have been like back in the days of the great war . Asa -you mean that old fairy tell we learned when we were younger ? Come on would you really want to live in a time of terror like that I mean if the story is true at all. Ry- You don`t believe it? Asa- I think a big war did happen long ago but I doubt it had a bunch of giant robots fighting around , and come on a ancient all knowing being that used his last ounce of power to bring life back to this planet that's a little far fetched don`t you think? Ry- You may be right but wouldn't it be fun to be a Toa , you know running around saving the day and all that . Asa- I am fine where I am you have always been the more adventures type . Now hurry up and get ready to go or we will be late for work . Ry- Oh yea I almost forgot thanks for reminding me . [ The two matoren get ready to go and they head to the Kardi Labs ] Scene 2 [Ry and Asa walk in the doors of the facility .] Ry-I got to head to the lab we are getting really close to a break through in a new energy source . Asa- Great well while you are creating that I`m stuck on tour duty so see you around . Ry- Bye. [ They separate and head there own ways , Ry walking to his laboratory where there is a ko- Matoren sitting at a desk studying a strange green ad glowing stone ] Ry- Any news on the rock Idure? Idure- Its still emitting the energy and once we get the last few parts in place on the generator we can see if it is possible to control the energy . Ry-good I`ll go get to work on that . [ Ry picks up some tools and heads to a room with a large machine in it and he starts to work on the machine ] Idure-[under his breath as he picks up the green glowing stone ] you will grant untold power I know it but I cant let that glorified mechanic use you for his plan no you will be mine . Mean while Asa- Hello I am Asa I`ll be your tour guide today [points to a glass wall that has matoren and Igori scientist testing and cataloging 12 different Rahi breeds ] Here at Kardi Labs we do many different test from breeding new rahi to new forms of energy and even the occasional mech suits . [ One of the young Igori in the tour group holds up his hand] Yes? Igori- do you have any of the old bohrok A friend of mine said that you have a bunch in your basement . Asa-[laughs slightly] no we do not the bohrok are old robots that no longer serve any use but that's a history lesson not for here . Any more Questions ? Meanwhile [Ry completes the machine ] Ry-There done ok bring the stone everything is ready . Idure-[brings the stone in and places it in the center of the machine and it activates as Ry sits down at a control panel ] Is it working? Ry- All systems are operational I just need to activate the barrier or the energy may be released all at once and who knows that could happen if it does that . Idure-[ Pulls out a plasma gun and aims it at Ry] You will do no such thing I know what will happen and I want it to happen . Ry- Idure are you insane it could cause a massive explosion . Idure-Maybe I am [ Idure shoots Ry in the shoulder and it knocks him away from the controls where he cant activate the barrier . The machine then starts to shake ] Ry- Idure don`t do this . Idure-Its to late now the power will be mine . [ Just then the Machine explodes ] Meanwhile Asa- And that is why we don`t allow vorox to work here .[ She hears the explosion and knows its from Ry`s lab.] Ry !! everyone please evacuate the lab for the moment do not worry it was most likely just a bad energy cell but its better safe then sorry .[ The tour group runs off as Asa Runs to the lab .] Ry ! Ry ! Are you in here ? Ry-Asa I`m in here. [she runs to him and picks him up] Asa- Oh my gosh you have been shot . Ry-That's not the worst of it look [Points at the machine and Asa looks over to see Idure in front of the stone ] Idure-Yes I feel it coming The power of the stone is free and its mine ! [ Just then twelve green beams of black energy shoot out of the stone and fly around the room as if they are alive and they fly in to the vents ] Ry-That can`t be good. Asa-That looks worse, look! [ Idure picks up the stone as a 13th beam of energy fly`s out and grabs his heart stone and Idure merges the stone with his heart stone and turns around his Eyes having turned red and black Crack like line forming on his mask and body .] Ry-I think we have a major problem . To be continued .
  6. Full Picture: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CKinVA/Signatures/533_final.jpg This is a three part epic I am currently working on, I am up to about chapter 7 (out of about eight) of part one. I will provide updates of where I am in the epic, but for now here is an introduction to the story. Part one: 100% Part two: 3 Chapters done (It's longer than I anticipated) Part three: 0% Introduction Sandstorm started out as a Matoran, like any other Toa. But unlike most, whose lives were filled with knowledge, exploration, and regular everyday stuff. His life was as a back-alley adventurer of danger. Always on the lookout for a job that would get him cold hard money. Be it clean or not. He was often hunted by the Vahki. he was caught once. But, because of luck, he got away. He took a job one day for an old coot who lived on the outskirts of Po-Metru. He handed him an orange stone with a soft glow, and told him to take it to the Toa Suva for a friend to pick up. When he got there, Vahki were everywhere. He had to employ stealth to get inside. But it didn't work out so well. As much as he hated going underground, he had to. He almost got his head bitten off by a Tarakava in the process. Once he was inside, he dropped the stone where he was told to, and when he was about to leave, Vahki swarmed in. Sandstorm had no choice but to see what that mysterious stone could do. He quickly threw it into the Toa Suva and ducked for cover, thinking that it would explode. But, nothing had happened. Yet. He was caught by the Vahki and got thrown into jail for breaking and entering, and countless other crimes that he had committed. One day, when he was cursing Mata Nui for putting him in a place like this, a bolt of lightning streaked though the only window on the wall. Sandstorm tried to dodge, but the lightning followed him wherever he went. He finally gave up and allowed himself to be hit by the lightning and felt himself growing larger and stronger. Once the changes had finished, he looked down at his new Toa form, thanked Mata Nui, and burst through a newly made hole in the wall. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Link to my review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=9068
  7. Ok this may be explained some where in the bionicle story line but im a little rusty on the little details after my return from the four year dark ages But where were all the Toa that lived on Metru Nui during that war where Lihkan lead like a hundred or more toa to battle , Where were they when the Visorak came to metru nui or when Makuta took over it just seems like a ancient evil and a bunch of spiders infecting the largest city in the universe would signal some of the toa in other places to be like hey maybe we should go help out there . I guess that you could say that they were busy with the damage from Mata nui crashing but at least some had to go and check on Metru nui when all this was going on . Besides the toa Hagah .

  10. As a comedy writer, I have had a very, very, very large number of comedies that die out of lack of personal interest, or just because nobody reads them. In fact, I have written somewhere around 20 comedies and I can count on one hand the amount of them that actually went anywhere. Why do I keep on writing these literary trainwrecks? Because I am waaaaaay too stubborn to quit. Also, it’s fun. Anyways, I got my first real comedy kick from the contest where you had to write about three Matoran, a bucket, and a Manas. Guess what I named my entry. It was my first attempt at writing a ‘real’ comedy, so to speak, and it actually turned out fairly well. Well enough, in fact, to receive an honorable mention in the results. That was a few years ago, AKA one of the very few times the comedy forum has had a contest. (While I’ve been here.) After finding out that this contest included pretty much everything on the forums, including comedies, I decided to write a comedy about my favorite characters from my works coming together in one big fat trainwreck story. So, here it is, the story absolutely none of you have been waiting for: KFRD’sC-Squad---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Scene cuts to a white room with smooth walls and floor, with the only decoration being a window, a door, a piano, and a mini-fridge. Multiple persons are present.* KFRD: *Holds up checklist* “Okay, everybody, one last roll call to make sure everyone’s here. Myself and Lewa from Bionicles + Me = Craziness are already checked off. Vezon, from the ‘Vezon Gets’ series?” Vezon: *Pulls out chain gun* “Thought you would never ask!” KFRD: “Ooookay. Ab, Mu, and Stro from Three Matoran, a Bucket, and a Manas?” Stro: “Present.” KFRD: “And last but not least, Skirmix from The Skirmix Show?” Skrimix: “Right over here, chief!” KFRD: “Wait a second, Skirmix? Where did you come from?” Skirmix: “Well, I’m afraid the full details would be a little too non-PC, but when a mother Skrimix and a father Skirmix love each other very much-” KFRD: “I meant, how did you get HERE? Like, in THIS ROOM.” Skirmix: “Oh.” KFRD: “The door is built to fit a regular human. I mean, come on, Vezon’s only about 7 feet tall, and he still hit his head carrying in that mini-fridge. Speaking of which, what is that thing for? There aren’t any plugs in here.” Vezon: “Well, DUUUH, how else do you think I got Skrimix in here?” KFRD: “……..” Vezon: *Blinks to the tune of ‘The Entertainer’* KFRD: “It’s not even worth questioning anymore, is it?” Lewa: “You’ve been writing for how long and you still haven’t figured this out?” Stro: “Pointless jokes aside, why are we here to begin with?” KFRD: “Well, BZPower is having a contest where you do something that involves Titans fighting Monsters for control of BZKoro for a chance to win prizes and such. Aaaand since I’ve heard some nut job called Dr. Generico is creating evil monsters on his private island of privateness, I figured we’d go beat them up.” Stro: “Hold on a second, wouldn’t that make US the Titans? We're not THAT big!” KFRD: “They’re very small evil monsters.” Stro: “Okay, fair enough, but why has nobody else noticed this already? I mean, you’d think that SOMEONE might take some concern to this!” KFRD: “Well, all of the normal heroes are…” Justice League Headquarters: Superman: “Hey, Batman, do you think we should do something about those tiny monsters that one guy is making?” Batman: “Nah, my schedule’s already booked with being dark and gloomy.” Wonder Woman: “Hey, maybe we could send Aquaman.” Aquaman: “We could use whales, you guys! Whales!” Back in the white room: KFRD: “Already occupied.” Vezon: “Well, that just about covers everything. Everybody onto Skirmix!” Skirmix: “What?” Vezon: “How else would we get to an island in the middle of the ocean?” Skirmix: “You DO know I can’t fly, right? How am I supposed to get there?” Vezon: “With the power of the segue!” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KFRD: “Segue; to make a smooth, almost imperceptible transition from one state, subject, or situation to another.” Vezon: “Blah, blah, blah, we’re here!” *Scene pans to show the rest of the island, which is actually fairly barren and rocky* Ab: “Hey, what’s with the not-so-tropical paradise here?” KFRD: “It’s probably a fairly new island, so plant life hasn’t had much time to grow.” Mysterious Booming Voice: “WHAT THE-HOW DID YOU FIND MY ULTRA SECRET PRIVATE ISLAND OF PRIVATENESS?!” Lewa: “Actually, we just landed on a random island and hoped you would be on it. Honestly, we had no idea you were here until you spoke up. Who are you, anyway?” Vezon: “Are you serious? It’s obviously Dr. Phil! I hear his voice in my head all the time!” Mysterious Booming Voice: “Actually, I’m Dr. Generico! I shall take over this world using my tiny monsters, and crush all those who oppose me!” Lewa: “Well, in that case, we’ll just be leaving! Good day to you sir!” KFRD: “Lewa!” Dr. Generico: “I’m afraid it won’t be that easy! After you cleverly coerced me into revealing my secret plan of secretness, you’ll just have to be the first witnesses of my creations! Behold! The tiny monsters of doom!” Ab: “Say, how are you speaking to us right now? I don’t see any speakers or anything.” Dr. Generico: “I placed all the speakers underground because some teenagers would drive by every night and slap the sound system. It was very annoying!” Ab: “Oh, okay.” Vezon: “Alrighty then, Mister Doctor! I’m afraid you’ve forced my hand! I came here to kick butt and chew bubblegum! And I’m all out of bubblegum!” [awkward transition]-------------------------------------------------[/awkwardtransition] *Cut to Skrimix carrying everybody towards the center of the island* Lewa: “Why are we going to the center of the island, again?” Stro: “I’m guessing it’s because where most villains hide their lairs.” KFRD: “Actually, I just felt like it. Now that you mention it though, Dr. Generico IS probably in the center of the island.” Ab: “Incoming!” *Cue shot of hordes of tiny monsters rising up from the ground of the plains and making a beeline for the group* Vezon: “You know, we’re on a biomechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex, about to fight a giant army of monsters, on a secret private island of privateness. I can only think of one thing this scene needs to be even more amazingly awesome.” Skirmix: “Oh? And what exactly would that be?” *Vezon pull out 20 machine guns, lights them on fire, stuffs them into a bazooka, lights THAT on fire, and then loads it into a giant cannon he pulls out of his ear, holds it on his shoulder, and rests his finger on the trigger* Vezon: “Needs more Dakka.” *Pulls trigger* *Giant explosion hit’s the tiny monster horde, destroying a giant chunk of it; however, they instantly respawn* Lewa: “GAH! Run the other way! Run the other way! Every incredibly amazing looking Bionicle set for themselves!” KFRD: “Oh, no you don’t! You have to stay here with the rest of us! I have a plan!” Lewa: “What plan?!” KFRD: “Skirmix, do you think you can get us to that dome-shaped building we forgot to mention earlier?” Skirmix: “Sorry, but I can either take you there or fight off these things. I can’t do both!” KFRD: “Okay, then Ab, do you think you can throw Lewa, Stro, Mu, and I into the dome?” Ab: “Don’t be ridiculous, KFRD! Of course I can!” KFRD: “Well, then what are you waiting for? We aren’t getting any younger!” Ab: “Are you sure it’s a good idea to leave Skirmix with us? I mean, Vezon’s a Skakdi and I’m ultra-strong, but he’s just a talk show host!” Skirmix: “Are you kidding me? I’m a giant biomechanical T-Rex with a stinger tail and humongous teeth! Pretty much the only part of me that can’t hurt people very well is my little arms! Now give me a gun, so that I may hurt people with my little arms!” Vezon: *Gives Skirmix an AK-47* “Here you go!” KFRD: “I think that takes care of that. Now, throw us into that building!" Ab: “Okay then, here we go!” *Ab picks up Lewa, Mu, Stro, and KFRD, and tosses them into the building* Ab: “Okay then, let’s do this thing!” *The horde and Ab, Skirmix and Vezon run towards each other* Vezon: *Holds up hand.* “WAAAAIIT!” *Both groups pause as Vezon searches through his pockets and pulls out a small stick of something* Vezon: “Yes! Found my bubblegum! Sorry guys, but you’re on your own now. As you were.” *Vezon flies away and the groups start running towards each other again* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IN THE DOME: KFRD: “Okay, I think the monster-making machine should be right down this hallway.” *Cue shot of hallway covered in signs saying ‘Monster Making Machine This Way -►’* Lewa: “Gee, what tipped you off?” Dr. Generico: “So, you found my secret base, did you? Well, now that you’re here, you must face the terror of my PILLOW NINJA RAHI! BWAHAHAHAHA!” *A panel opens up to reveal an Ash Bear sitting upright eating popcorn out of a bucket.* Ash Bear: “Hey, it’s Mu and Stro! What have you guys been up to lately?” Stro: “Eh, nothing much, really.” Ash Bear: “Yeah, same here.” Dr. Generico: “WHAT?! Where are my Pillow Ninja Rahi?! Where did this bear come from?!” Ash Bear: “Sorry, I got hungry and I ate the rahi I found in here. Was I not supposed to do that?” Dr. Generico: “Darn it! I knew I should have prepared more than one booby trap!” Lewa: “Ha! You said ‘trap!’” Dr. Generico: “Oh well, I suppose it doesn’t matter, you’ll never find me, and I’m the only one who can turn the machine off!” KFRD: “Like Karzahni we won’t!” Dr. Generico: “Oh, please! You’ll never think to look under the kitchen sink, pull the lever, go down the trapdoor, enter the passcode ‘1234’ into my high-tech security system, scan your eyes on the toilet seat I have hanging on the wall, and go through the energy wall! NEVER! BWAHAHAHAHA!” 10 Seconds Later: Dr. Generico: “How on Earth did you find me?!” KFRD: “The jig is up, Generico! You’re coming with us!” Dr. Generico: “As if! This human suit is only a costume! Underneath it, I am a vastly superior being compared to any of you! And now, to reveal my true self!” *Pulls off suit* KFRD: “Ratty from The Skirmix Show?! I thought you weren't evil!” Dr. Generico: “What? How did this costume get on me? Anyhow, no, I am NOT Ratty from The Skirmix Show! I am…” *Pulls off costume* KFRD: *Gasp!* Lewa: *Gasp!* Stro *Gasp!* Mu: *….!* KFRD: “You’re…” Stro: “You’re…” Dr. Generico: “Yes, it is I, Tree #47 from Three Matoran, a Bucket, and a Manas! BWAHAHAHAHA!” Lewa: “But…but why?!” Tree #47: “I never got any jokes, or praise, or importance. I was just a prop, something shamefully shoved into the background while the real action takes place up front. I wanted to be a main character for once, and you know what? It WORKED!” KFRD: “Good for you. How do we stop the machine?” Tree #47: “Oh, all you need to do is deliver a large jolt of electricity to it.” Lewa: “Oh, is that ALL we need to do? Because last I checked, none of us thought to bring a FREAKING GAS GENERATOR TO THIS NUI-FORSAKEN PILE OF ROCK!” Stro: “Calm down, Lewa. I know how to get a large jolt of electricity to the machine, whether or not any this method of shutting something down makes any sense whatsoever.” Lewa: “Well then, to the machine room!” --------------------Dananananananasnananananananana Segue!-------------------------- KFRD: “Okay, we’re in the machine room. Now what?” Stro: “Here, give Mu this Thunderstone.” *Hands Thunderstone to KFRD* KFRD: “Why?” Stro: “Just do it, okay?” KFRD: “Fine, fine.” *Throws Thunderstone over to Mu* “Here, take this.” Mu: “…..!” What?PikaMu is evolving! Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun duuuh dun dun dun dun dun dun duuuh duuh Do-da-le-do! Congratulations! Your PikaMu has evolved into RaiMu! Lewa: “…You do realize that if we don’t make it out of here, you deserve to die just for that pun, right?” KFRD: “Toootally worth it.” Stro: “Okay, then! RaiMu, use Thunder on the machine!” RaiMu: “Rai!” *Electrocutes machine with HOLY MATA NUI THE LIGHTNING BOLT IS BLINDING OH MY EYES WHYYYYYY* Tree #47: “And with that, the tiny monsters shall disappear forever!” Stro: “Uh…why?” Tree #47: “Because the machine that create them is destroyed!” Stro: “You know, the laws of physics dictate that an object that exists tends to still exist even when you’re not looking or interacting with it.” Tree #47: “So?” Stro: “So, why would destroying the creator destroy the creations? Is that like if I burned down Apple Headquarters, all Macs would cease to exist?” Tree #47: “You know, I never thought of it that way.” Stro: “Well, obviously we should-” Tree #47: “Burn down Apple Headquarters!” Stro: “Oh, for the love of…” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUTSIDE Ab: “Hey, look! The tiny monsters stopped respawning!” Skirmix: “True, but we still have roughly a gajillion left to go through, and I’m running out of ammo!” KFRD: “Hey, guys!” *KFRD, Lewa, Stro, Mu, and Tree #47 run towards Ab and Skirmix, squashing monsters as they go* Ab: “Looks like we just got backup!” Lewa: “Um, where’s Vezon?” Skirmix: “Oh, he found his gum and left.” Lewa: “You’ve gotta be kidding me! He had the best weapons!” Skirmix: “True, but at least these things are small enough to deal with, to a point. Say, who’s that you have there?” Stro: “Tree #47. He’s the guy who made these things.” Skirmix: “How? He has no arms! Or legs! Or any other appendages! He’s a plant!” Tree #47: “You say that like it’s a bad thing.” Ab: “If you created these things, I have a question for you; why did you make the monsters so dang small?” Tree #47: “Simple, really. That way I could hide them inside shipments of bacon and hold the world hostage by taking control of the bacon supply.” ???: “Did somebody say ‘Bacon?’” Lewa: “Who’s that?” Author's Note: Please listen to this music until further notice for a more enjoyable comedic experience. Thank you for your time. Vezon: *Swoops down from the sky* “I may not be out of bubblegum yet, but nobody except for NOBODY messes with my bacon, AM I 100% CLEAR?!” KFRD “Not really, no.” Vezon: “Too bad!” *Flings hand in the air* “Now, I summon Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka, guardians of the Mask of Life!” *Ground cracks open and Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka appear* Vezon: *Pulls out a card from underneath his cape* “Now I play the magic card Polymerisation, allowing me to fuse these three together into…” *Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka warp together to form a large beast* Vezon: “KARDAS, THE KINETIC GUARDIAN!” Kardas: *Roars* Vezon: “KARDAS, STOMP THESE MONSTERS INTO OBLIVION!” Kardas: *Stomps the ground repeatedly, squashing all the monsters in it’s way* Lewa: “I hate to break it to you, but that only works if more of the monsters decide to crawl directly underfoot. You’re not hitting anything anymore.” Vezon: “I know that, Lewa! In case you’ve forgotten, Kardas absorbs kinetic energy into his own reserves, meaning he gets more powerful with every stomp!” Lewa: “Okay, hax! I call hax!” Vezon: “Now, Kardas, unleash your ultimate attack! ULTIMATE KINETIC BEAM CANNON!” Lewa: "Isn't that statement a bit redundant?" Vezon: "Of course! That's why this story is officially endorsed by the" Lewa: "Oh, okay.* *Kardas fires a giant blue beam of energy from it's mouth, destroying the monster army in a giant explosion that knocks everyone over* Ab: "Holy Mahi, that was intense!" Lewa: "Yeah, imagine if you weren't actually here to see it and just had to READ about it! That would stink!" Skirmix: "Help! I can't get up! My arms are way too little!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's Note: You may stop listening to that music now, if you wish. If you don't, then that's okay too. That song is incredibly awesome. Ab: "Well, that was quite the adventure!" Skirmix: "Yeah, but now what?" *Scene shows group standing in the white room again* KFRD: "Now you all go home, and we never speak of this again." Lewa: "What?! Why?!" KFRD: "Well, that's how most crossovers end, so I'm really not sure what else I would do." Vezon: "Hey, I hate to be the one to point this out, but where is 'home' for us? We don't have comedies anymore!" Stro: "Yes, but you know, we were chosen to be in this comedy for a reason." Ab: "Really? What's that?" Stro: "Because in the author's mind, we are the most memorable characters he's ever come up with, and even if we don't have our own comedies anymore, even if we've faded into obscurity, we're still always going to have a home in his heart. Am I right KFRD?" KFRD: "Sorry, what? I zoned out. Why are you all still here again?" Stro: "Yeah, you can go jump in a lava pit."_____________________________________________________________________ Author's final thoughts: Okay, I've got to be honest with you guys; this is the most fun I've had writing a comedy in a long time. I fully expect this to lose in the contest, and that's okay. If it wins by some sort of blue moon miracle, that'll be great and all, but really, this comedy was a great opportunity to have all my best characters from my favorite comedies in one place. I would also like to take this chance to thank all the people who have supported me over the years. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it. Now if you'll excuse me, I seem to have some plum stuck in my throat. Adios!

  14. So this is something I did on MS Paint when I got bored. Basically it's Takanuvia who belongs to the user Taka Nuvia, and I decided to draw her on the computer. And like all my BIONICLE drawings she looks somewhat human but still looks more robotic. So without more babbling here it is.
  15. Hey guys, if you have a song stuck in your head right now, post it here and spred the curse! causing them to post it here to spred like a virus! 16. Image is too big to be posted here. so here's a link to the gallery. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=519897 This is Toa Faustus. I borrowed the name from a user on a website, I just reworded it so it can be mine, not his. His former life before a Toa was a weapons maker for the Centurion team. He didn't want to at first, but he finally agreed. So now since he's a Toa, carries the Scythe of Quakes, and a plasma cannon. (It's sight attachments can vary. It can also hold the golden armor, body or the shield.) I finally decided to post one, seeing how desperate I was to make one here. Anyways, comments are accepted.
  17. Tales of the Wanderer When your world has fallen, what do you do? Do you lie down and die,or keeping going? I choose to keep going, but if a record isn't kept, then why bother right? As we all know, history is written by the victor. And if we lose, then someone should know the truth of what happened. My name is Scott, but I think I'm getting ahead of my self, so I'll start at the being. I was born into a world of heroes and super-powered people. Too bad they were all dead by the time I was born. Here, some of greatest hero teams are dead. The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the X-men, to name the big ones. When the Phoenix came back, it went crazy, killing most of the superheroes around. That was a year before I was born. I lived a normal life, sort of. I was a social outcast, even in kinder garden, and I didn't mind it at all. The first month, nobody would talk to me during play time, and to this day, I'm still not sure why. I wasn't mean or anything, but that's beside the point. By the time the second month rolled around, we had a new kid. He was already enrolled, as I learned later, but he had been really sick, and couldn't make it to school. I walked up to him and said hello to him. He said hi back, and we sort of became friends, seeing as he was the first to talk to me at this school besides my sister, and she barely spoke to me anyways. We told each other are names. His was Blake, and mine Scott. The two of us were a pair that was hard to separate, as we would only talk to each other, and the teacher, that was it. By the start of middle school, I had started to develop a crush on Blake's sister, Leixe. I was working up the nerve to ask her out when Blake's powers came in. He always like wolves, and that was what he shifted into, a Grey wolf. He mauled one the kids who picked on him within an inch of his life. I'll admit, I was a tiny bit afraid, but then forgot about it after about three seconds. My friend had Super-powers! That was awesome in so many ways. For one thing, no one would bother us, as they didn't want to run the risk of being mauled by Blake. It was hard for him, and I like to think I helped him deal with it, at least a little bit. While Blake was dealing with his powers, mine were coming in as well, but mine were much more subtle. I was a Techno-path, and I didn't quite know it yet. I was building computers a lot, and had become my school's unofficial tech support. I didn't mind it one bit. It was fun showing up all my teachers, it really was. During all this, I did ask out Lexie, and she said yes. It was an awkward few days till we worked it out. He'd maul me if I broke Lexie's heart, and I would of asked him to if I did anyways, so it all worked out. Now, I do have a sister, Sarah, and she had powers as well. Hers though, made her a target for everyone to make fun of. She had a pair of wings, and looked like a cat-person. A lot of the nerds at our School called her a Khajiit, or the Dragonborn, it deepened on which one you talked to. She started to go cold, emotionally. Maybe if I'd payed more attention to her, she wouldn't of been put into the place were she is now. There is one thing I remember, about a month before we moved. It was the end of the school year, so summer was starting again, and the sunset was amazing from the roof of the apartment building I lived in. The four of us, me, Blake, Sarah, and Lexie were up there, just talking about anything. Then I said “We should leave home when were all old enough. Be like the X-men, out saving the world and all that.” Blake then said, “ Will need a name for our team then.” “How about Bad Company?” Lexie said. She always had good ideas. “Isn't that a song, or was it a band?” Sarah asked. “Both.” Blake then pulled out his Ipod, and started to play the song Bad Company by the band Bad Company. We all liked the song, and went with the name. “ Bad Company, till the day we die!” we all shouted out. To bad we wouldn't get the chance to be Bad Co., at least not for a long time.Review TopicEdit: Link to the review topic added in.-Wind-
  18. This is my Entry for the second comic contest: Onomatopoetic Justice Pages: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] Credits: All Characters used belong to Lego, DC, and Marvel Enjoy! -
  19. Okay, let me just start off by saying a few things. First, don't nag at me because of lack of complexity. I've been around here long enough for me to tell you like to hate on simple things. Second, I know the bright orange upper leg armor doesn't blend very well. I wish they made those pieces in dark red. Third, I also figured out something very important while building this MOC. I HATE THOSE BLUE PINS. Unfortunately, I don't have enough black ones to put in here. Anyways, onto the MOC itself. This is my entry for the BBC #63, though people are definitely not going to let anything simple get past the first voting round. There is quite a lot of backstory to this MOC, and to tell you it, I'd have to make an Epic. Looooooooooong story short, this guy was a Glatorian blacksmith until a Great Being gave him elemental powers to defend Spherus Magna aginst a Makuta. Time for pictures! Front Back Side The pins on his back are so he can store his sword. Poses: En Gard, Monsuier! (I spelled that wrong, didn't I?) It's Slashing Time! Skirmix Attack! Boo-Yah! All I ask for is some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, no 'this moc scks to smple lawl nwb!'Seriously, I get WAY too much of that junk.

It was a nice spring day in the park. The flowers were beginning their annual bloom, making the field burst with colorful swaths of bloom. Clusters of red and yellows clashed against each other in a peaceful battle amid the greens, their pitched fights interrupted only by the hovering of a hummingbird or the buzz of a bee. Birds chirped noisily in the trees, some plucking crumbs tossed by pedestrians. The setting was peaceful, and the lord seated on a bench enjoyed this scene, absorbing the environment with glee. He fumbled for his pocketwatch and glanced at the time before promptly putting it away. His company was almost late. Still at peace with his surroundings, however, he scarcely dropped a beat in anxiety, not even hitting his cane in worry of his potentially belated friend. He looked at the passerby, some well dressed businessmen enjoying a bit of free time from their work and a smattering of youthful joggers bouncing down the trails, but none of them matching the descriptions of his ally. He payed closer attention to the businessmen, however, and his heart skipped a beat as they lingered in front of him. Suddenly, one of the suited men wheeled around and produced a pistol and nonchalantly fired the weapon at the seated lord. The elder man fell back with the bench, which as it happened was not bolted to the ground. The powerful cartridge pounded him with such force that the entire bench dumped him on his back. But there was no blood, no sign of wound; the lord flopped on his back, groaning, an then got up, to the shock of the would-be assassins. He stood there for a second to give the men a hateful glare before whipping a Skorpion from under his coat and spraying the men with bullets. The two men quickly fell, not protected like their target. But as the lord vanquished the men, he could understand why his friend had not arrived. Seizing the opportunity, he bolted, and after him the dirt flared and trees splintered. The park tourists fled or ducked away from the violence that brewed. The lord came across another killer and flung his cane at him, and as the shaft of the cudgel met the man’s chest, the pointy end of the sword that was suddenly exposed pierced his jugular, emptying his fortitude with haste. The lord dropped another killer who hid too casually behind a tree before the telltale click of an empty magazine sounded and he had to duck himself behind a cement barrier to reload. He looked out before him and admired the contrast between the massacre and the beauty of the park, but he knew violence was the only answer now. With his friend dead, there would be no respite in the war brewing in the lord’s home country. There would be no peace. He primed the chamber of the weapon and emerged from his hiding place, ready to bring his wrath down on the insurgents.
  21. This is the topic where you can discuss the mask of time!Just to get you started, here is a small question to sizzle your brain:If the Vahi was created in "the time before time", then how could it possibly function?
  22. Step right up, step right up! It's toa Audio's amazing horn organ!Believe it or not, but this took me six days to make. "The kanohi maestro was first worn by Toa Audio, who is credited with making the first horn organ, predecessor of the more popular shell organ."He made a large bellow, but it was rather high and found no toa that were up for the job.He hired a po-matoran instead. And the hammer can be explained: no, he isn't trying to break it, its just the only way for him to reach it.(geez, i've thought this through, havent I?)The first row is made up of hollowed out muaka claws;the second of mountain rahi horns;the third is made of some sort of coral. He couldn't find anything big enough for the lowest register, so he just had them made out of protodermis. :sigh:This was more of a funny idea than anything else.I got my inspiration when i was sitting in a church, listening to my dad rehearsing on his harpsichord. Then he told me "why dont you go check out the organ?" I guess he noticed i was bored. :PSo there i was, staring at this old, broken down organ, when i looked down and saw my dad doing his weird faces/ positions thing. He calls it "being in to the music", but i dunno. And that was my tale of how i got inspired to make some weirdo playing an old, broken down organ. So, yeah. This actually took me three days to make, but i was experimenting with the backgrounds a lot, so that took up the other three days.In the end, i realised it didn't require a backround- in contrast to my earlier "ta-koro school" drawing, the quetion is what, not where.Anyway, i hope you like it! (and i hope i didn't talk too much. I have the tendency to do that. ) Constructive criticism appreciated!-NOTE-Extra challenge:Try to come up with what Audio's powers could have been, what his mask does, ETC.Have fun!-Dwanny
  23. So, what martial arts are you guys involved in?I am currently a 1st degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and am also taking an "unconventional " self-defence course. We do alot of ground fighting and disarming techniques in that, with a smattering of Kali and a dash of CCC.Post away.NOTE: Do NOT start bashing people because they learn different types of arts. No Karate vs. TKD debates, etc. Because ninjas will hunt you down and mess up your face and other urban legends.
  24. So in 2008, I started writing my own BIONICLE story saga. Very basic at first, but as time went on and I got some inspiration, it exploded into this: The Legacy Chronicles.Well, it's been a year since I laid the story to rest, so now is probably as good a time as ever to do a MOC showcase. In this topic, I'm going to showcase my Toa MOCs from the series. Please note that these are all at least fourteen months old - some are even four years old - and I have no intention of going back and upgrading/rebuilding them. I'm merely showing you all what I spent a few years of my childhood on. For the Legacy Chronicles, and its many characters, this is the end. IhuOriginal form, Pit Armour, First Upgrade, Sword of the Great Spirit, BlueSpace Upgrade, Final Upgrade, TuragaThe saga's main character. Ihu was originally killed in Ko-Metru by a Nui-Rama attack, orchestrated by Makuta Tyrex, who had a vision of Ihu becoming some kind of "super-Toa". Another Makuta, Locuz, collected Ihu's remains and secretly resurrected him, using a portion of his own life-force. Ihu was also made a Toa, but one with all of Locuz's Makuta powers, as well as being totally immortal. He travels from the Pit to Karda Nui, to Irania Nui and Bara Magna, and even into the middle of deep space to try and stop both Teridax and the Disciples of Vradok from fulfiling their "destinies".Ihu wears a Great Mask of Shielding and originally carried a Sub Zero Blaster, which he exchanged for two Energized Ice Swords. These later merged into a single blade. As part of his final upgrade, his Hau was fitted with an eyepiece which grants him telescopic, thermal imaging, atomic and X-ray vision.Upon becoming a Turaga, his elemental Ice powers and his Makuta powers greatly diminished, and he lost his immortality. His sword became a Staff of Ice.AmayaMatoran, ToaSome time after Teridax's takeover, Amaya, a Ga-Matoran, became a Toa of Water, and joined the Water Council.Back when she had lived in Ga-Metru (the first time) she and Ihu had been deeply romantically...involved, and she had been devastated by his death. Strangely, upon becoming a Toa, some of her memories from this time were restored, and so she had very mixed feelings when she met Ihu again on New Krano Nui, the Water Council's moving base. During their mission on Spherus Magna, to stop Vashkov from finding the Cavern of Eternity, they became very close again, but were almost separated when Ihu nearly killed himself trying to stop a huge nuclear explosion of the Cavern's power. However, things worked out well in the end, and Ihu and Amaya became Turaga together.Amaya wears a Great Mask of Mind Control and carries a Fishing Spear and a Protosteel shield. Upon becoming a Turaga, her powers greatly diminished, and her tools became a Staff of Water, her badge of office.KaraelMatoran, ToaOriginally a journalist in Av-Iarn, the Irania Nui District of Light, Karael was transformed into a Toa for his bravery in a battle against a malicious Matoran called Ikov. He would continue to battle Ikov, and his Toa-sized alter-ego Vashkov, from the time of the Rising until the reforming of Spherus Magna. He wears a Great Mask of Quick-Travel and carries twin Sun Sabers. And no, I'm afraid I couldn't find any better images.GelikMatoran, ToaTransformed at the same time as Karael, Gelik is a Toa of Lightning. In her first day, she managed to stop a rampage of a group of huge wild Rahi, and later defeated (and accidentally killed, by dropping a stone tree on) Kreix, one of the most powerful villains in Vradok's army.Gelik wears a Great Mask of Strength and carries a Lightning Scythe.HalokOriginal Form, UpgradeUntil the Toa Krano came along, Halok was the sole Toa of Irania Nui, and he exceled at his job. He as so skilled at using his element, Air, that he could practically fly, but used a jetpack most of the time to aid his flight. During the battle against Vashkov, he recieved an upgrade from Turaga Lome, the Turaga of Irania Nui.Halok wears a Great Mask of Illusion and carries a whole host of weapons, from sticky bombs to zamor launchers, but his favourite and most commonly used Toa tool is a Laser Axe.JuulocMatoran, Toa, Helryx's bodyguardOriginally Turaga Lome's bodyguard, Juuloc accidentally became a Toa when Makuta Tyrex posed as a Turaga, acting while Lome was missing. The two of them engaged in a lengthy battle, in which Juuloc melted Tyrex's armour together and thoroughly trashed him. Juuloc later helped defeat Vashkov's forces in the lost city of Onu-Iarn, and eventually became Toa Helryx's bodyguard.Juuloc wears a Great Mask of Valor, which grants him shielding, strength and speed. Before becoming Helryx's bodyguard, he carried a sword, which he later exchanged for a staff and shield.Toa KranoFrucas, Toa of Fire, Miran, Toa of Gravity, Covoc, Toa of Stone, Kuro, Toa of Ice, Kurek, Toa of PlantlifeLed to believe that, fifty years ago, their island was destroyed and their people massacred, the Toa Krano were welcomed to Irania Nui, where they joined Halok as its guardians. Later, they would discover that their people had been taken hostage by a being called the Sygran, and so set off back into the Matoran Universe to the island of Isakrah, where they came face-to-face with the Bringer of Pain himself. Frucas was killed, but Covoc donned the Kanohi Aethra, the Mask of Protection, and was able to defeat the Sygran, leaving him for dead in the middle of some lava fields. They then set off on board the New Krano Nui, a ship built by the Water Council, and left for Bara Magna, where the Water Council were needed.KarahnGalleryWhen he was a Ta-Matoran crafter, Karahn boasted that he could recreated the Spear of Fusion. He succeeded, but upon becoming a Toa, it fused itself to his hand. Every now and then, the Spear goes a little wild, and he was cast out of his village for accidentally killing several Toa and Matoran using the Spear's power.Eventually, he learned how to control the Spear, and was drafted into the Water Council. He joined Ihu and Amaya on their quest across Bara Magna.Karahn wears a Great Mask of Stealth and carries a Spear of Fusion duplicate.VohanGalleryIn his universe, Vohan started as a Ta-Matoran called Vohon, who discovered the Vahi in Tahu Nuva' suva just before they all moved to Metru Nui. Somehow, it transformed him into a Toa of Time, and he was propelled acros the space/time continuum, until he reached the Prime Reality. Here, 40,000 years ago, he joined the Order of Mata Nui, but later "retired". He was drafted back in by Frydax during the Destiny War.Vohan wears a Vahi Nuva, a Kanohi Nuva Mask of Time, and carries a Staff of Time, as well as a zamor launcher that also allows him to focus pure elemental time energy into powerful blasts of energy.VolatileToa, Mid-possessionAn experiment by the BoM, Volatile was turned from a Ga-Matoran into a Toa of Water, Ice and Shadow. She also possessed the power to teleport, levitate and see in the dark. During a mission to Jydivia in the Destiny War, she was possessed by Vradok's spirit. She killed several members of the Order and Brotherhood alike, before being destroyed by Frydax, who used a special syringe given to him by Angonce to split Vradok from Volatile. Volatile was killed, but Vradok's spirit moved on...Volatile wore a Great Mask of Sight, which allowed her to see anything on the same terrestrial plane as her, and carried two Shadow Blades.Other ToaHelryx, leader of the Order of Mata NuiBojek, Toa of Light from an alternate universeChiron, Toa of Iron from Fort KohydroxVyleck, rogue Toa of FireThose are all the main Toa characters. Others were mentioned and stuff, but most of them were MOCs belonging to friends. Keep checking back for the next topic, which will probably be the Order of Mata Nui and the Water Council!-JREdit: Main image thumbnailed due to dimensions and file size. Please keep images in BBC to 640x640 pixels and 100 kB, and images in other forums to 500 kB.-Wind-
