  1. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka with Riss and Feli) He lets a grin of his own surface, although since they're underwater that's perhaps not exactly what he wants to do at the moment. Ignoring digressing, Zakaro nods in reply, speaking as well as he walks forward, looking for a place with some cover to try and rouse Feli. "I think that's very helpful. Even if I have to be your legs, this means you're back in the fight." Zakaro's grin widens, before he glances over at Feli and his face falls slightly. "Let's find a covered area and try to get her up and about. Once she's up, then we've no reason to just hide for fear of losing injured teammates."
  2. IC: Zakaro {HP: 19/20, Pts: 0} As was the usual, Zakaro quickly got lost in everything. He wasn't entirely sure what happened here or there, but somehow he was still alive, not dead, and actually kinda okay. He decided the best thing to do would be to just stay out of it for now. Conserve energy and all that, while keeping his phone pole threateningly ready to smash the skull or legs of anyone who got too close.
  3. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli) As Riss hit the ground, Zakaro landed only a few seconds afterwards, his own dense earthen boots making the trip easy enough, even with Feli still on his shoulder. A quick glance at the other Toa had him speaking again, trying to reassure her and get moving. "Don't worry about breath, the mutations take care of that well enough for you. Feeling alright?"
  4. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, With Riss and Feli) He grins back at Riss, lightened by, at the least, her putting on a brave face, and backs away while carefully tightening the boots around Riss's feet, securing them for as long as the material chooses to stay solid. "Alright, you can either jump in and let the boots do the work or slide in and I'll grab onto you and bring all of us down together." With another slight application of his power, Zakaro himself was now wearing a pair of dense earthen boots, and his Pakari glowed a little, showing the effort he was now maintaining in staying just above the water's surface. The weight of two Toa, plus dense boots made to allow someone to 'walk' on the seafloor, was quite heavy.
  5. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli) "Indeed I am," he replied, creating a pair of dense earthen boots just beside Riss, slightly bigger than her feet so that she could get them on easily. Even as he treads water, he once again shifts the prone body of Feli on his shoulder. One good hit and she's gone. With luck she'll wake up soon, but if not then he'll have to try to force her awake once they reach a reasonably safe location. "It's understandable, we all have our own personal demons. Never liked fire and lava, myself, though I suppose just plain water and submerging are different enough one might not bother you while the other isn't all that comfortable.." He slides back into silence, not entirely sure where to go with things, before continuing. "Those boots are pretty dense, and as long as you stay nearby me I can keep them from just deforming into mud and sliding off. Once you get them on, I'll tighten them around your feet and we can head on down. Sound good?"
  6. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) The Onu-Toa paused as he floated nearby, even as the water continued to rise. Feli was still on his shoulder, but Riss too? That was more of a problem. She obviously didn't want to go underwater, and yet soon enough the entire arena would be nothing but it. Shifting Feli over a bit and checking her vitals quickly to make sure that, at the least, she hasn't slowing down into a KO, he pondered things for a moment before speaking. "The way I see it, you can either go under now, of your own will, or later being forced. In any case, I'd much rather be on the floor than up here and totally surrounded by venues of attack, so I'm going to have to go down soon enough. You can come with me or stay here, your choice." He gives the singer an awkward smile, before making sure that he was still holding Feli both securely and, ahem, erm... within safe locations. Zakaro had no desire to repeat the problem he had before with Olari. IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector) "That's the spooky, mysterious part," the Nynrah Ghost replied, eyes wide as she wiggled her fingers about in some sort of magical, strange way. "No-body knows anything much about the Host or the Queen, just that they're tall, mysterious, and run the whole Bionifight Tournament! Only thing that's agreed on is that they're not a race anyone's ever really seen, though the same could be said for tons and tons of fighters they've had. That's what makes Bionifight so unique! No other tournament in the universe-ses? Universi? Universuses? ...Multiversal Network has contestants from sooo many different places, times, and alternate realities!"
  7. IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector) The Fe-Matoran nods in reply, sneaking a glance at the screens before actually speaking. "Yepyep, while this is teeechnically my first time actually in the Bionifight, I've watched pretty much every tournament that they've shown on IDBN, which is lots and lots! Not many people actually come back for another tournament, but those that do are the ones you really need to watch out for! They're super good at fighting and stuff and I really admire them for doing that and-" Another pause and deep inhale, and Nisaduf shakes her head once or twice before continuing. "..I'm sorry, got a bit carried away there, I'm a bit of a fan of the Fight and all.. So! Yes! This here is the Commercial Sector, where you can socialize and get pretty much anything you desire, and as a fighter it's all free! Free for you, at least, it's probably not totally free, someone has to pay for it, but that's besides the point, it's free for you and that's all that matters. Anyway," she looks around, an arm trailing her gaze before settling on a door off to the left. Pointing at that door, she continues, "ooooovveeeerr there is the Comfort Sector, where your quarters are for relaxation, recovery, or just some private time, and over on the other side is the Training Sector, which is basically a gym that allows you to, well, train. Waaay on the other side of the building is the Knowledge Sector, where you can find old recordings of basically every single round of fighting that's gone on here, other than the ones that the Staff wouldn't want you to know about, and it's kinda just a giant library with information about pretty much everything you could ask about!" She gasps for another breath of air and then grins up at Dynomi, bouncing on her heels. "That's this floor, down below is just kinda a big big hallway circling the Arena, where all the rounds take place! It's got some special technomagical stuff that allows them to make it into tons and tons of different environments, like underwater cities or icy mountain tops or jungles or normal cities and yeah!" Nisaduf ends with a gesture towards the screens, still showing various clips of the action. She's still bouncing on her heels and grinning, though, with enthusiasm practically emanating from her form.
  8. IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0) As his phone pole apparently whips around and gets caught by some tentacles, Zakaro staggers for a second, off balance, before wrenching at his weapon, trying to remove the log from the grasp of the other fighter. This however distracted him from Luroka's attack, which sliced across his legs, earning Luroka the first of the many points. (-1 HP, 19/20, 1 Pt. to Luroka) With an angry growl, Zakaro pulled back, deciding that this strange sea-creature could either let go or be brought along for the ride, and swung towards Luroka, trying to catapult the Mutilator at the Makuta.
  9. IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0) Reacting instantly, the Onu-Toa ducks downwards and allows the blade to fly over his head, before swinging his massive weapon at his opponent. Without missing a beat, if he missed he planned to continue the swing alll the way around, making it very possible that if Miras tried to get behind him, he'd be greeted by one very heavy corded phone pole.
  10. IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0) "LET'S GET THINGS STAAARRRTTTEEDDD!" With a whoop of joy, Zakaro proceeded to slam his phone pole into the ground, causing an earthquake that would affect pretty much everyone because hey, everyone just looked kinda confused and lost, gotta start somewhere!
  11. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) As the water hit his ankles and rapidly rose, Zakaro swore. There never failed to be that one guy who just couldn't stand not trying to pop the bubble, at least not the first time. The second time was sometimes better, though other times there was another guy who just wanted to watch the world burn. Er, drown. Grumbling, Zakaro created earthen 'boots' around his feet, weighing him down but also securing himself to the ground, relatively speaking. With a quick glance around the now-flooded area- those barricades didn't help much, in the end, he decided- he began forwards. Ismekne would find the Onu-Toa coming up to regard both her and Feli, before kneeling to scoop Feli's prone form off the ground and place her over his shoulder, pushing a pad to the side to fit the other Toa between it and his head. With his left arm securing her, he spoke. "We should probably find a better place to stay. This is out in the open, and I'd rather not loose a comrade to something like this without a fight." IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector) She only takes half a second to glance over and confirm that yes, this isn't someone she should be on the hunt for a signature from-though perhaps that could change later, depending upon their performance in the next round- before returning her attention to the screen and speaking, continuing to follow the action as her words came out almost too quickly to really hear. "Oh yes, I know most of those people in there. Well, kinda. I know them from their time here, in the Bionifight, at least-Karz, why would you pop the bubble? Ugh, there goes any advantages of speed you might've had, although watching people flail and swim around is always fun- but I know Ten and Zakaro and Feli Gemshimmer and Elittra and the last round's winner Vagust and- Mata Nui, it's Starburst! I didn't even recognize her at first, but a Mohtrek and that voice and the mike, it's so obvious! She's even sparkly like when she's onstage!- and a few others but those are the important ones, they've been here before and therefore are soooo much more interesting to follow than some of the newcomers, they're always all like 'Oh Karz, I'm stuck here and I can't get home to save the world, angst angst angst,' but the vets already know what's going on and that makes them so much more fun to watch!" The little Fe-Matoran pauses to take in a breath, and as if on cue by the renewal of oxygen to her brain she abruptly turns back to Dynomi and sticks out her hand, introducing herself. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Nisaduf!"
  12. IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector) As her world materialized around her, Nisaduf nearly quivered in excitement. Scratch that, she did quiver in excitement, bouncing in place grinning as the Host's automated message played out. As soon as it was finished, though, the Fe-Matoran was practically skipping around, eyes wide and smile threatening to take over her face. This was it! Her chance to meet her heroes, get to know them, and maybe even become them! She wiggled in joy, already scheming how to best secure both signatures from every single person in the tournament and at the same time figure out which of her heroes would be best to become. Springing over to the viewing screens, the little Matoran attempted to get as close to the picture as possible, which resulted in her nearly toppling over a railing as she perched on it, eyes focused on the action. Even while she watched, she continued to bounce in place, muttering to herself random facts about whomever the screen was focusing on at the moment, at least when she knew who they were. It was debatable whether the more surprising thing was the number of fighters she knew or the number that she didn't. It was pretty close, all things considered. OOC: Nisaduf open for interaction, though I'll probably go looking sometime tomorrow in any case.
  13. Name: Zakaro Species: Onu-Toa Power/Weapon 1: Earth Power/Weapon 2: Strength Power/Weapon 3: Telephone Pole Appearance: Here.
  14. Because we someone to bounce around asking people to sign her mask, and apparently spectators that interact with the fighters don't exist so Name: Nisaduf Species: Fe-Matoran Power/Weapon 1, 2, &3: The Illusion of Greatness: A nanobot-swarm that resides within the hallows of Nisaduf's armor and has the basic ability to fly, grab onto things, create illusions, and connect to one another to form into a dagger. Using this, Nisaduf can roughly replicate a majority of elemental powers that are either mere illusion or a combination of such and nanobot help. (Ex. To emulate a Pakari, they can help Nisaduf lift or hit stronger, though the effect is certainly lesser and can be noticed by an experienced fighter.) Along with this, it allows Nisaduf to make an illusion over herself to make her appear as another fighter. Appearance: When not cloaked in a nanobot illusion, Nisaduf seems to be a fairly average Matoran. The lime green eyes behind a powerless bronze Kakama are tinged with madness, cold logic, and sometimes almost adoration, but she's smaller than a normal Matoran. Her armor is mainly that same bronze, with burnt orange highlighting her lips, fingertips, and other place of note while grey skin makes it certain that she is indeed a Fe-Matoran. Having been a Nynrah Ghost, her armor isn't her original armor, but is improved and hallow in many places, allowing it not only to give under powerful blows but house her creation, The Illusion of Greatness. Bio: Nisaduf hails from a universe very aware of the interdimensional broadcasting platforms. Well, at the least, Nynrah is. She never really paid attention to anything other than what was happening in the latest broadcast anyway. Sure, she enjoyed inventing, but Nisaduf's true passion was following the Bionifight, seeing the great Starburst perform at her latest venue, and the like. She was a fangirl, in the truest meaning of the term, and her idols unsurprisingly didn't even know she existed. Also unsurprising was when she first began to invent machines to give her the powers that her idols had, using them to make her feel like them. Like many Nynrah Ghosts before, after, and across the multiverse, she fell victim to the idea that she was the best. But why work hard to become one of the best when you can just take one of the best's spots? The Illusion of Greatness was born, and the name of the weapon was completely and totally ironic, even to Nisaduf herself. But the beings on those broadcasts, they were her heroes; Nisaduf has always wanted to be like them. And now she can, on the glorious Friday night beat-'em-up extravaganza primetime event itself, Bionifight. Maybe she'll even get to participate in the hidden camera spin-off 'Out of the Arena'! Personality/Other: At heart, even though she's rapidly become an insane fangirl who wants to literally become her heroes, Nisaduf's still a fangirl, and that's the outward appearance she emits. Though her eyes- and thoughts, considering the physics in the tournament- often reveal her true thoughts, her small stature actually helps in that few beings bother to get down on her level enough to truly recognize the slightly crazed look in her eyes for what it is. Her main topics of conversation are usually the heroes she idolizes, and when faced with a situation the reaction is usually to ponder 'What would [Hero] do?'
  15. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Feli, Zelnos, and Hound) The Onu-Toa grins slightly and steps back, gesturing to either side where Feli and Zelnos both stand. "I don't have any fancy healing stuff, but apparently both my companions do. I'd say they'd be best working there." He lets out a chuckle and turns to survey the gathered crowd at what Zakaro supposed was now Taravaka HQ, then glances around to see if any yellow sashes are visible. Not seeing any, he returns his attention to the group, though another glance at a building reminds the Toa of something. What it was, he couldn't exactly put his finger on, but Zakaro was sure that he had once used a building in some interesting fashion that had been extremely fun, if not impractical. Then again, that summed up nearly half of his previous Rounds in the Bionifight, so perhaps he was just mistaken.
  16. i heard my name? i vote Xaeraz? no? um who's even alive
  17. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) He first turns to Feli, grinning at her with his reply. "Indeed it is! That's why I'm heading out now rather than later! More people to smash the face into, though this can't compete with that time they stuck us in one little ship on the sea to fight. That was crowded as Karz." Without missing a beat or pausing to consider the grammar of what he just said Zakaro swivels around to greet Zelnos, speaking again. "Sounds good, though perhaps an idea of just what you can do would be appreciated? Besides, a falling building can be more effective than just charging forwards, and thanks to the power of Earth that can be easier than you think! Anyone else?"
  18. i read this as 'What if... I HATE PUNS' but if the Earth could think, and decided to take that course of action then we'd never comprehend things, being wiped out in an instant of an explosion but perhaps one astronaut in a ship somewhere would survive he would be lonely
  19. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) Turning from his barricade making, Zakaro quickly moved forward and scanned over the group, shouting out to all those still waiting around. "Teams of 6? Alright, 5 people who just can't wait any longer to go and try to beat the out of that other team, let's move, eh!"
  20. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) The Onu-Toa, knowing quite well that Earth, while solid, is not the most hardened thing for deflecting objects, decided to back up the barricades rather than make many of his own. For Kale, he added a large sloping hill of earth right behind his wall, making it much harder to knock over or blast through. The slope was a simple addition: added mass, and an easy way for defenders to get up that side. "Don't be afraid to knock some buildings down, as long as you can be sure they go the right way. Better they go down now and not hit anyone then later and hit any of our teammates."
  21. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka) After listening for a few more seconds, Zakaro speaks again, shrugging a little. "Won't say I wouldn't prefer to fight, but I suppose with a Pakari and Earth at my disposal I'm best suited for the building squad," he said, glancing around at the gathering people.
  22. IC: Zakaro (Team: Taravaka) The world shifted around the Onu-Toa, and as he landed he grinned and then laughed, excited at the prospect of a battle and eager to get to it. However, noticing a group developing to make a plan, the Onu-Toa headed over, nodding towards Olari as he spoke. "I'll say right off that we do not, unless under the most dire of circumstances and even then I'd hesitate, want to break that bubble. Anyone who actually did it would likely be KO'd instantly, and the proceeding rush of water can easily wipe out half of the fighters in one go. Trust me, I've seen it, and having that much water pouring down is practically a death sentence unless you get lucky."
  23. IC: Zakaro (Hallways) "All things considered, I think that unless we happen to run into a tunnel in the next minute or so, we should probably just participate," Zakaro said, shrugging before speaking again. "However, if everyone else is deadset on looking for a Gem, I'll stick with the group." Zakaro
  24. IC: Zakaro (Lower Hallway) The Onu-Toa shrugs in reply, before following up with a sentence. "You can go right ahead, but I don't think this is the work of a machine. At least, not a typical one with gears and wires. Perhaps something a bit less... grounded in the physical, I suppose?.. seems to be at work." He sighs and brings a hand to his forehead, uncomfortable and uncertain. "Feh, this reminds me of just why I don't think too hard about all this. The deeper you go the more confusing it gets." Zakaro
  25. IC: Zakaro (Tunnels) "They would be," Zakaro stated, reaching out to run a hand along the wall. "As foreign and not earth as this place is, I can still feel the constant vibration of something constantly... it comes and goes, but isn't static." He draws it back and frowns a little, as if realizing something. "It's honestly a little disconcerting to feel. Never really considered it that much, but.." The Onu-Toa trails off, uncomfortable at the implications.
