  1. Events happening? Bajets must investigate and obviously run into the Shopkeeper because she can But yes, Tex, it's the 2 Colossuses, Venga, Dayeth, and now Bajets. XD
  2. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector) Gunshots. Shouting. Bajets reacted instantly, diving to a side and crouching down, using a table for protection. She only debated for half a second about whether to attempt to keep the charade going and decided that self-preservation was much more important than that. It was relatively far away but that would be no excuse to do nothing. Cracking her knuckles, Bajets did exactly what any high-class Zakaz Lady would do in this situation: Go find out what in Karz was going on and, if needed, lay on the hurt to return to peace, quiet, and tea-sipping. There was no steady walk here, no measured steps, just an all-out sprint from crouch to rolls to crouches, darting forward with erratic yet elegant movements. With that mindset it didn't take long to get nearby the incident, and as she dropped into another stall she came face-to-face with a rather large Po-Matoran. "Salutations and apologies for dropping in, your shop happened to be a good place to hide for a second." IC: Zakaro (Hallways) "Sounds like a good idea," Zakaro managed to eventually reply, still wiping the bleary vestiges of sleep from his eyes and mind. "Speaking of which, how did you fare in that last round? I didn't do much of anything."
  3. IC: Nisaduf (Too easy Tunnel?) Even with some light returning to the tunnel, Nisaduf was still uneasy and on edge. It wasn't surprising, then, that as the walls began grinding inwards, she was off like a flash, darting forward and shouting back to the rest. "Quickly now! I don't think anyone wants to become squashed pancake and yeah, that would not be fun but what would be even less fun would be running right into a trap that's in front of us so keep your guard up and don't run into anything too fast, I think we could outrun these walls! They seem more like a way to force us forward, anyway!"
  4. >2 1/2 months >glances at the games that were like a full 6 months eh yeah i think I'm alive? i dunno, playerlist hasn't been updated in super long but uh i vote for some other alive person? i guess? if i'm alive too?
  5. IC: Zakaro (His Room -> Comfort Sector) "Mkay," Zakaro muttered, following behind while unsuccessfully trying to actually wake up. Perhaps a bit of plotting to get Lekona back was in order? Maybe. It would have to wait for when his mental functions went beyond thinking in simple sentences and grunts.
  6. IC: Zakaro (His Room) "I've done it before," came a grumbled reply as Zakaro extracted himself from his sheets, rubbing his eyes. Taking Lekona's offered hand, the Onu-Toa managed to reach his feet and stood for a second, taking in what Lekona had said. "...sure. Why not. I can do that," he eventually said, yawning directly afterwards. "You're still not forgiven for waking me up, though," Zakaro added, touching his nose gingerly and turning to walk out. "So where are we- oh, hello Olari. Didn't notice you there. Though I suppose it's not surprising, Lekona did say we.." Zakaro drifted off, staring into space with an almost confused, but mainly tired expression before shrugging and continuing. "...though where's Artorre?" IC: Bajets (Food Court) She waited for a few seconds before deciding that Tirkah probably hadn't heard her, but rather than repeat herself the Skakdi simply glanced around the room. There was Snarl, apparently investigating something under the table- and another Skakdi was approaching him. Bajets sighed and got up, frowning a little as a strange, acrid scent slipped into her nostrils. No matter, that could be investigated later. "My apologies for talking and leaving, but it seems that my Energy Hound has gotten himself into some trouble." Tirkah could follow if he wished, she decided, and as the Lady Bajets approached the scene she schooled her face into one of near-childish concern. The more unassuming she could appear, the better. Still, it would be best to wait just a moment, to see how to begin this encounter.
  7. IC: Zakaro (His Room) Zakaro grumbled and attempted to roll over to look at Lekona. However, due to the fact that he was already tangled in his sheets and that his rather bulky shoulder armor was still on, he only succeeded in rolling out of his bed and onto the floor, face-first. Impressively, he managed to pronounce, although slurred, a series of curses that would make a Skakdi's mother gasp in horror. A few moments of silence followed before he spoke again, face still securely planted in the ground. "...I have no idea what you just said but it better be worth my time. And my sleep. And my nose."
  8. IC: Bajets (Food Court) "Suit yourself, then. I suppose that's as good of an idea as anything else is, although I can't say how well people will agree to having that done to them." She pauses to reflect a moment, before attempting to continue the conversation. "I don't suppose you could tell me anything about what's happened thus far in the tournament? I may or may not have just arrived, and I'm a little low on the information as such." She giggles a bit after that, instantly chastising herself at how girlish and almost forced the action sounded. No need to lay it on that thick. IC: Zakaro (His Room) The Onu-Toa murmurs in response, though that might've been just instinct, but doesn't move. It was apparent that Lekona wasn't going to get him up that easily, he had just slept through the entire walk from the Food Court to his room! Zakaro was a deep sleeper, it seemed. IC: Nisaduf (Dark, dark tunnel with scared people and a very, very hungry thing that eats fire and light) The Fe-Matoran tried to not shiver in fear. The silence had lasted an eternity, it seemed, when was something going to happen?
  9. IC: Nisaduf (Dark, Dark, Tunnel with something very, very hungry) The Fe-Matoran just 'eep!'d in response and scrambled backwards, heart caught in her throat. This was not something she had a counter for, a wee little dagger would mean nothing to something as large as it seemed, and she didn't know enough about her environment to effectively use the Illusion. Perhaps if nothing else worked, but it practically seemed like this thing was creating the darkness. A sudden thrill of fear fluttered in her chest as another thought tore through her mine. What if this thing... was the darkness? Nisaduf gripped her dagger closer and tried to stay as small, still, and quiet as possible. Somehow she knew that even though her eyes were open, it didn't make a difference either way, so she screwed them shut and focused on the small sound of her breathing and the commotion of the others in the tunnel.
  10. IC: Nisaduf (Dark Tunnel) She had the good sense to throw herself against one side of the tunnel, not really knowing or caring which, and the Fe-Matoran pressed herself against the side as Iesua fired something down the tunnel. Slightly panicking, her words came out in a blur of emotion. "Oh, don't get eaten, please! That wouldn't be fun, this isn't all that fun, things are dark and things are trying to eat us and things are not even working and I can't even see anything!"
  11. IC: Nisaduf (Dark Tunnel) The Fe-Matoran instantly quieted. Now, more than ever, she'd need to be careful. There was something obviously hostile out there and Nisaduf had no intention of being caught off guard. The Illusion gathered around her hand and formed into a knife, almost a shortsword on the petite Matoran. Carefully, she reached out to rest a palm against one of the Toa's legs and breathed out a message. "Just... be careful... Whatever it is, it probably doesn't mind this darkness.." On one hand, if this thing murdered almost everyone, she could use their personas. On the other hand, she'd still need to get away after they were dead. Easier said than done.
  12. IC: Nisaduf (Dark Tunnel) "Ew," Nisa muttered, her voice coming from just behind the two Toa. Artorre had slowed her down, at least, and as such she was happily in the middle for now. Even while they walked, she was prepping the Illusion of Greatness for its first real run, sending bits of the swarm around to surround the group, not doing anything other than silently hovering along, a few landing on each member of the group if possible -the flames around the Fire Protector made that tough- and in general the machine was preparing itself to do something. What, exactly, she would do Nisa wasn't yet sure of, but it would come to her. IC: Bajets (Food Court) "The style, the glamour, and perhaps reading books as well," Bajets half-teased back, smiling slyly and shyly at Tirkah as she pulled back a little, stretching. "So.. What do you plan to do here, good sir?" She said, leaning forward again with a glint in her eye and easy grin on her face. Ugh, she hated playing up her feminine side sometimes, but it was all for a good cause.
  13. "OBJECTION!" The proclamation came from the last of the Defensive Attorneys to join, one Mr. Zakaro O'Nui. He stood up in his chair and spoke, waving his arms at various people as he mentioned them. "With all due respect to Mr. The Shadowhawk, I must point out that Mr. Venigard had reported his personal cellular device stolen but 3 days ago! Furthermore, Mr. Venigard has shown fit to tell the defense that while Miss Sapphire was within his personal quarters 4 days ago, he has also made it known that it was to purchase what he feels to be a priceless piece of art, 'The Seaside Shells upon a Shore'! That transference of money was made accordingly to that, and he also feels that it was entirely possible that Miss Sapphire took his phone while he was distracted or in the washroom during their talks over the price of the artwork!" He holds up the painting and a small note with Mr. Venigard's secretary's handwriting on it, stating that Mr. Venigard was not available via cell phone for the time being due to its disappearance. "Mr. Venigard did not know what Miss Sapphire was going to do with the money from her sale, but reports that she was unwilling to go any lower than 500, 000 widgets at all! How interesting it is that the same amount was exactly transferred to Green & Johnson but a day later!" He puts everything down and slams his fist down, speaking again. "It is clear that Miss Sapphire should be under high suspicion for her actions, and that Mr. Venigard has been set up to be a scapegoat!"
  14. IC: Nisaduf (Very dark, very spooky tunnel with a distinct lack of cameras) "It's spooooky!" came Nisa's voice from behind the group, her metallic feet clinking against the ground rhythmically as she skipped down the tunnel. Inwardly, she was almost shaking with excitement. This was fantastic! Things were dark, there were no cameras around-that she could see, although that meant nothing- and overall this looked like lots and lots of fun! It'd be even better if she could construct her own 'demise' and become one of the others! A real test of the Illusion, a real test of her skill, a real test in general! It would be amazing! "Anybody know where we're going, other than away? Cause I dunno!" IC: Bajets (Food Court) She raises an eyebrow and adjusts her monocle and magenta tie, as if to affirm that she was proper. "I must admit, sir, that I know little about what you speak. From where I hail, all the Skakdi are, 'all proper and whatnot,' as you put it. Are they uncultured in other universes?"
  15. IC: Bajets (Food Court, with Tirkah and Snarl) She took his hand daintily, shaking less firmly than he did. As much as she hated it, fostering the image of a weak damsel could be beneficial for the time being, so it would be a necessary evil. Didn't mean she wouldn't hate every second of it. "Lady Bajets von Zakaz the seventh, although much like yourself that title means next to nothing in this realm. Bajets will do for now, though, why include a title if it is nothing but mere fluff to be ignored?"
  16. IC: Nisaduf (Medbay) "Of course! Why would I want to stay in a silly old medbay when I can go with you?" Nisaduf chirped, skipping forward to come alongside Ten. "Though I've never heard of a Mask of Fire. Mask of Gravity, sure, but not Mask of Fire." IC: Bajets (Food Court, with Tirkah and Snarl) She let out a chuckle, feminine and yet not all that high, become speaking again, her silver pools focusing in on the Glatorian's eyes. "And why would that be? Because you prefer to be alone, or because you're forced to be alone?"
  17. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector) After selecting and slipping her last purchase, for now, into a pocket (the cards weren't the best, but they'd do if she ever wanted to play a game) Bajets turned to survey the general Commercial Sector, looking around for anything-or one- that stood out. Over there, perhaps? She could see some being sitting at a table all alone, and she had the strangest feeling that he would look better with a hat. Pushing that aside, Bajets walked over and sat down across from Tirkah and leaned forward, allowing her voice to come out sensually. "Why, hello there, sir, eating all alone?"
  18. IC: Nisaduf (Medbay) She just glances at Intavus with a dubious glare, not really convinced of his story nor his excuses. "Suuuree, and Ten's not the best hardlight specialist around." IC: Zakaro (Comfort Sector, his room) Unsurprisingly, the Onu-Toa hadn't woken up. So much for a quick nap. Perhaps he could still be awoken, but without trying it would never happen. The only thing Zakaro did do was murmur some gibberish and roll over, his shoulder armor catching and dragging one of the sheets along the way to almost create half of a tent, although even a Matoran would have trouble fitting in there.
  19. neither do i but that means nothing just like my vote how sad i must make an impact and that will be glad so from Arsene my vote I take and to Manducus' death I do partake so an impact i can make
  20. IC: Nisaduf (Medbay) "Well, if you say so, must be true!" And she grinned at Ten, bouncing up and down a bit before speaking again. "Say, where do'ya think they'll go next? Mt. Ihu and Mahri Nui have been used, so what's our next destination? Any theories, ideas, or are we all just going to be stuck wondering until the next round? Well, we will be anyway, but you know what I mean!" IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector) "Understood." She rose and proceeded on, making a note in her newly acquired pad about the strange spider-possessed being. With that done, she headed towards the food court, looking around for both someone to converse with and a bite to eat.
  21. IC: Nisaduf (Medbay) "True," she commented offhandedly, "But your element is usual more usable than just another weapon, like a gun, all you could do with a gun is shoot, but with fire you could shoot fireballs, make firewalls, or heat up an area! Plus you run faster and are stronger, making another weapon half-useless if we can't catch up to you to use it." IC: Lady Bajets von Zakaz VII (Commercial Sector) Having finished a majority of her purchases, Bajets glanced over to where Snarl was, well, snarling at what seemed to be a being that was more organic than most. Cautiously, she knelt down beside the Hound and spoke in a low tone, knowing the Hound could hear better than most. "Do you sense something wrong with him? Do you think it would be best to avoid this being if possible in the future? Or simply keep an eye on him?" She was careful to leave a gap between each question so that Snarl could nod or shake his reply to each one. Snarl was her only ally as of yet, and it would be good to foster a greater connection and show that she was putting trust in the Hound's abilities. Simple eyesight revealed the presence of strange, large spider-creatures crawling around the being, with another one on his face. She had a sickening feeling that this being's will was not his own and rather was that of the spider's.
  22. IC: Nisaduf (Medbay) "Hey, is that implying something!" The little Matoran swiveled to look at Artorre with a glare, crossing her arms in annoyance. "Just because less small people get into the tournament because we're more often civilians doesn't mean we're worse! There's just a smaller pool to choose from, what with your fancy elemental powers and usable masks and Skakdi's odd abilities and all the other things, but all we Matoran get is our brain and whatever weapons we can make all by ourselves! It's no fair comparison!"
