  1. IC: Tyemek

Tyemeks remaining eye, for a split second, went a colour darker than the night itself. And then, just like that he let out a laugh that would send a shiver down even a Ko-Matorans spine. He through his Katana into the sand hard, which sunk down blade first, only a few inches away from Zobans face.

He held out his arm to off the Skakdi a hand getting up.

  2. IC: Tyemek

The Toa pulled out his Katana and put the tip lightly against the Skakdi's neck.

"Surrender, Skakdi! I've dug three too many graves today already"

  3. IC: Tyemek

The well timed block and the strength of the Skakdi caused the dagger to fly out of the Toa's grip and fall into the sand.  Wasting no time, he swung his leg from left to right, in an attempt to knock the Skakdi oh his feet.

  4. IC: Tyemek

"Digging graves." Tyemek half joked. He smiled again: A charismatic one, with just a little bit of menace to it. "The Oasis, ehy? I heard its pretty nice around this time of year."

If this Skakdi asks too many questions, Im going to have to dig him a grave too.

  5. IC: Tyemek

The Toa of Waters blood ran colder that ice as he saw the Skakdi. . he thought to himself. He picked up the shovel and leapt to his feet with much enthusiasm.

"Greetings traveler" he said with a smile. "What brings you out here?"

  6. IC: Tyemek

Tyemek whiped a thick layer of sweat off his brow and sighed. He through the shovel onto the sand beneath him and sat, or more fell, down beside the three fresh graves he had just dug. A family. A man, a woman and a child. Sad the child had to go too, but there couldnt have been any witnesses. Wasnt the first set of graves he had dug and it most likely would be the last.

He looked around him. Nothing but endless desert. If someone would ever find these graves, they would have to be looking for them.

  7. IC: Wryu

Wryu felt her self being lifted up with the power of Saeren's Matutu. It was a strange weightless feeling. For some odd reason she felt ashamed to be carried by a mask of levitation although that shame was drowned out by her rediscovered ability to actually breath. It was a process that was very underrated.

Excuse me, how do I put in a formal complaint for a late sprite? Can I speak to your manager please?

    Hopefully that will suffice?

. I really did want that money back grantee.

But seriously this is awesome. Im going to put it in my sig right away. Thank you, friend.

  9. IC: Wryu

Wryu was only semi-conciseness, but she heard something about about a medic. No. The medic was speaking to her. Or was is Chivinix? Everything was just echos and noises around her. Nothing made sense

OOC: Yeah Zox, she was attacked by a Nui Jaga and has a puncture lung and has been stabbed twice in her abdomen. She has currently lost a lot of blood.

  10. Now we're getting somewhere.

I've talked with others about this a few times, and what I've gathered it that it's simply a matter of how you as a person influence what you write.

I think, if there's a trait my characters had in common, it'd have to be that I avoid using an excess amount of flowery language. I tend to keep things fairly straightforward. It's mainly a result of personal preference.

This might be more of a trait of me, personally, more than my characters, though.

I think everyone drips into the their characters a little bit though. I think just do whatever feels natural for that character in the moment and everything will be alright.

  11. IC: Wryu

Wryu let go of her breath she didnt even realize she was holding. Much like the curved sickle strapped to her belt. She might just get out of this alive.

But as she finished her train of though, she coughed violently. Her eyes were shut but she could hear the splatter of blood hit the floor.

OOC: Anyone have any medical training? Not sure if she has time to get to the hospital.

  12. IC: Wryu

Wryu looked up to see a blurred vision of a Toa of Fire. As here sight grew stronger she saw he was covered in scars and scratches, and had an eye patch covering one of his eyes.

She would have liked to have spoke, but all she could manage was a slight exhaled breath. At this point, she didn't care who took her to the hospital, just as long as she got there. Although, she couldnt say the insect allowed for the most comfy ride. He didnt seem to have her well being all at heart, that was for certain.

  13. When Bionicle first came out in 2001, were the Turaga even meant to be that old. The films gave that impression, but where the Turaga ever designed to be much older than a Matoran? Its just something thats always bugged me.

Also story wise, were just Matoran on Metru Nui. If it had been another set of Toa Metru, wouldnt the current Metru just be Matoran and get sent to Mata Nui? We wouldnt see them as old then, would we. Not to mention the Toa Mata are older than all of them (I think).

  14.

I would not mind an orange Pohatu one bit. Technically, his original brown color was already a shade of orange (specifically, Earth Orange), and had the same relationship with classic orange (Bright Orange) that Metru Blue (Earth Blue) had with Mata Blue (Bright Blue). If a compromise was needed you could split the difference and make him the same Dark Orange color as Hewkii's original mask (which is indeed still on the LEGO color palette even after all these years).

However, I can't deny that I'd get much more of a nostalgia kick from a brown Pohatu than from an orange one. And beyond that, Reddish Brown would be more useful with the current palette of CCBS parts than Dark Orange, which has not appeared in a constraction set since 2003 if I'm not mistaken.

They can bring everything, just don't bring the dark colors we had with the Toa Metru please....

Really? I actually kinda liked those.

Their darker color really bugs me  :( I don't know, Vakama's red isn't as charming as Tahu's or Furno's red, for example.

I hope we get an 07 type. Lots if interesting combos in that year. Bright and dark combined made for a nice look IMO
  15.

    However, one important question looms:

What color do you guys think Pohatu will be?

As much as I would like the return of brown, I just don't see it happening. Lego got rid of the brown sets for a reason (though Ogrum did have quite a bit). He'll probably be Keetorange or tan (hopefully, at least) or something similar.

And since pretty much everybody acknowledges that the Mata will probably be back next year, I'm not sure how I feel about it. The Mata/Nuva/Phantoka/Mistika/Star sets weren't bad, and they are all amazing characters, but if we're bringing it back, I want to give some other heroes a chance to shine. I would like to see some old faces mixed with new, some of those Matoran that deserve to be Toa along with some that have already proven themselves out of the spotlight.

Hypothetically if there were leaks then those supposed leaks would supposedly suggest a darker colour scheme. Hypothetically of course.

  16. IC:

Wryu could hear voices talking. One was the insect, the other was a matoran or toa, judging in the accent. She thought about the way the insect spoke. Child like, just like his behaviour. She decided that she would teach him some manners once she was, in his words, "fixed"
