  1. IC: I.F. "... Ni-sa... Deff?" I.F. stared down at the Matoran, a curious look in its eyes. ... Whiiiiiich were hidden behind the hood it was wearing, so they were barely visible. "I think I've seen..." I.F. reached out into the air, as if literally trying to grasp a floating thought, a fleeting memory. A grasp at empty air. A handful of nothing. What did you expect? "... Well, hello Nisadeff. My name is I.F.. And I am doing... I don't know. What would you call it? Words cannot describe..." It's probably feeling worn out after bawling its eyes out over a flower. A flower.
  2. IC: I.F. (Trophy Hall) "Oh, petunia!" The cloaked figure of the Toa of Life was sprawled on all fours on the floor of the Death God's temple, holding a flower in a vase in its hand. "Oh, your stem! Your leaves! The colors of your petals, how the multitude of tones complement each other! Oh, how beautiful !" It was clear that something was not right in this Toa's head. Or maybe it just had an inclination towards... Being a large ham. Or being prone to camp behavior. Or both. "Oh, how beautiful your life is! But it is a TRAGIC BEAUTY; oh, so TERRIBLE! (Note: I.F. is pronouncing "terrible" the French way). Oh, beautiful flower..." The Toa was practically sobbing at this point. It was also "milking the giant cow", to use a certain slang. "Oh, flower... Let me free you from your bonds." The Toa's grip on the flower tightening, its hand flew with a sickly light. The flower began to wilt and die, as its life was forcibly sucked out of it, but... ... It was still alive. No, the Touch of Death had not finished the job. That job would be finished by I.F. savagely tearing the flower to pieces. "Join Kuolema in freedom, brother flower." OOC: I.F. open for interaction. Yay Kuolema!
  3. IC: OWL "Sinking? Like quicksand?"
  4. Name: Agent 5040 Species: Selakhian (Pridak's Species) Faction: Prisoner Power/Weapon 1: Kanohi Kualsi Power/Weapon 2: Elemental Plasma (gained via modifications performed by the Makuta Group). Power/Weapon 3: Hagah Plasma Cannon (handheld) Appearance: tall, thin, and pale, Agent 5040 would resemble a particularly gaunt Toa if not for the second row of teeth in his mouth (his species has been nicknamed "Land Takea"). His armor consists of a series of well-arranged white and black accents (to give a suit-like aesthetic) Bio: Imagine a universe where the Brotherhood of Makuta was a megacorporation. The Makuta Group, as this corporation was called, controlled almost all of the business - and in fact, the government - in both the Matoran Universe and on Spherus Magna, down to what brand of towel a Matoran or Agori would wash their face with. This megacorp's power was so great that they even had business holdings in other universes (they are currently attempting to open up trade with Halkenverse Xia). Recently, they had struck an advertisement/sponsorship deal with Bionifight that had cost them a lot of money but would have had a big payoff due to the opportunity to make themselves known to the Multiversal community... Except soon after making the deal, the tournament disappeared into thin air. Naturally, the folks upstairs were mad. For all they knew, they had been ripped off. So on orders from Chief Marketing Officer Antroz, an agent (the Group's spies, diplomats, Pinkertons, and hitmen) was sent to investigate just where the ###### the company's money had gone. This agent, the 5040th in the company's employ, began a Multiversal odyssey in search of clues hinting at the fate of the Bionifight tournament... ... But was captured and imprisoned by Vapautti Sielu along the way. So much for investigating Bionifight. (Little does he know just how big of a break he got...) Personality/Other: Agent 5040 is very dedicated to the goals of his company. After all, when the company profits, he profits, and when the company suffers, he suffers. Having been raised in a society where the Makuta Group is law his sense of morals, values, and ethics are structured around the "good of the company". Despite being little more than one of the Makuta Group's thugs, Agent 5040 displays a surprisingly in-depth knowledge of economics and business. This makes him more useful to the Makuta Group than a regular thugs as it allows him to perform more intellectual missions as well. He has been thinking of getting a desk job with the Group if they ever let him switch jobs.
  5. IC: Galos - Narsis Streets "The market was that way..." The Dunmer male walked through the streets of Narsis, on his way to... Somewhere. "After the market, I have to..." Galos spotted a Dinner (Anguis) and an Argonian (Bites-His-Tail) conversing with each other. Curious, his walk brought him closer to the conversing beings.
  6. IC: Tomo "... F̣̥̳̜̙̯o̢̳̞͚̮͖͓rms҉ͅh̜͎͍̼̫i͕̮̪͟f͕̹̰̙̫͚͡t͕̳̰̪̗̩ͅ ̫c̗̭o̫̻͍̗̟̙̘m͟p̢̫̜̻l͠e̷̠̼͔̱̮̦̮t̛ḛ̤͙͕͇̮͇." A new, blacker Tomo looked up to the sky above the Ilse of Saarella Kirotu. She had been considering changing her appearance for a long while now, having been browsing through a "catalog" of forms and shapes for some time now. Eventually, she had settled on this appearance. A solid-black Toanoid blob, with a swirling vortex of metal tendrils on its back; this fitted the mood. This was an accurate reflection of what Tomo felt right now. ""You cannot destroy me, for I am nothing." Tomo thought she could hear a whisper in her ear. But nothing was there. Turning back to the facility, she entered into the Training sector. She would need some time to get used to this body. IC: Lytrel Lytrel nodded, looking down. He wasn't sure if this Toa was onto something great, or if was just a naïve idealist. Still, better than being here... Was it? ... Lytrel didn't want to stay here, but he had little memories of home. These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray/ Right through the very heart of it...
  7. IC: Lytrel "I doubt that will work." Lytrel sat down against a wall. "From what I've seen of the Host so far, he is absolutely delusional. While we might be able to convince the Enforcer or the Head Engineer of our cause, persuading the Host..." Lytrel sighed, then continued. "Tell me, are the Host and the Queen the same species? If they are, they might share the same goals: the restoration of their people and universe through the collection of artifacts of power. Or maybe it's only the Queen who yearns for her home and the Host is so absorbed in this farce that he has forgotten the face of his father. But either way..." Lytrel looked back up towards the Toa of light. "It'd be better if we can simply pry the knowledge of the Facility's systems and then tear him apart piece by piece rather than trying to use reason to persuade him."
  8. IC: OWL "Empty, you say?" OWL turned over to look at this... Creature. He's some sort of Rahi. Probably can't digest his meat. Last time I tried eating a Rahi, it tasted like eating rotten offal... "... Perhaps we haven't gone deep enough. Or have you searched the entire forest?"
  9. IC: OWL - Wilted Forest OWL followed the strange Toa into the forest.
  10. IC: OWL - Wilted Forest This one smelled different... This one wanted to hunt too? Was he an Eater? On the one hand, this meant less food for OWL. On the other hand, help would be appreciated... OWL nodded. "You're welcome to join us...?" OWL turned to look at Kat. She wasn't an Eater, was she? OWL had never heard of Rahkshi Eaters. But considering the crazy sort of beings that he had seen here... "Should we get going?"
  11. IC: OWL - Wilted Forest A Rahkshi. Not 肉. "Yes," OWL replied, his voice coming out like the hiss of a snake.
  12. IC: OWL - WILTED FOREST There was nothing to do in the facility. So OWL decided to got take a walk. Right now, the Eater was stalking through the Wilted Forest, keeping an eye out for any cultists. He had heard rumors of some other individuals from the Bionifight facility encountering members of this "Vapautti Sielu"; if this was true, then OWL wanted in. He wasn't exactly starving, but he was surrounded by tasty, tempting 肉... Still, he WS sorta scared to go to far. Right now, he was kinda loitering around the edge of the forest, not sure if he should go deeper or not.
  13. Third of I.F. for approval... Name: Ignika Fallen (I.F.) Species: Kanohi Mask (with Toa body) Faction: Vapautti Sielu (under Kuolema) Power/Weapon 1: Touch of Life: I.F. is capable of imbuing inorganic objects with life through touch (similar to the Cursed Great Being), granting them the gifts of breath, movement, and thought. While it can usually order these objects around, it does not possess direct control over them; as such, more willful objects might pose a problem. Like the Cursed Great Being, I.F. can hear the thoughts of the objects it has enlivened. The more objects I.F. brings to life, the weaker it becomes. Power/Weapon 2: Touch of Death. In contrast to its first power, I.F. can drain the Life Energy from any living thing it touches (as well as any objects it has enlivened through Touch of Life). This life drainage works at a similar rate as a Level 6 Hunger Rahkshi's power. Power/Weapon 3: Skyboard Appearance: Basically a blue, black, and silver version of Toa Ignika (with a slightly different armor pattern). It usually wears a hooded robe to cover its own appearance. The mask on its face is usually a solid black color but will glow golden when it is using its powers. If one looks closely, they might notice a poorly fixed crack running down the left side of the Ignika. Bio: I.F. was the Kanohi Ignika of a timeline where it was forced to wipe out all life in the Matoran Universe. This also being a timeline where it become Toa Ignika and gained the experiences of a mortal creature, it was very distraught by its own actions. When the mask was taken by Vapautti Sielu to Saarella Kirotu, it quickly took to the teachings of the cult, probably as a way to escape its own guilt. (Though that guilt eventually caught up with it though; see Personality/Other). Attaching itself to the House of Death (curiously enough), it serves Kuolema with zeal and valor. Personality/Other: ironically for a Mask of Life, I.F. is obsessed with death. It truly believes that to die is to be set free; yet it does not believe itself worthy of death; not out of cowardice, but out of a twisted guilt complex resulting from its purge of its universe (for some reason, I.F. is convinced that all those killed by it purge were not "set free" but are trapped in a sort of limbo; this causes it immense guilt). It seeks to alleviate this guilt by killing as many people as possible without draining their essences, so that they may be truly freed. I.F. is also very melodramatic, being easily brought to tears and... Dramatic shouting (probably due to still being a child - or an adolescent at most - mentally). At some point in the past (I.F. doesn't remember when), the Ignika was badly damaged. While the Cult was able to repair the damage, the mask ended up losing a good deal of its powers (can't restore Mata Nui, won't start the countdown, won't randomly curse people, can't instantly regenerate its own body, etc). Prisoner profile coming soon.
  14. Eye injury. Though it healed, his vision in that eye is absolutely horrible.
  15. Pretty sure I made a mistake in the bio somewhere... Name: Galos Arano Age: 65 Appearance: due to being one of the Mer, Galos is still in the prime of his life despite reaching what the Men would call Old Age. He has used this time well, having developed and maintained his physique ever since he reached adulthood. Well-toned muscles and a lean but still imposing build reflect Galos's health and physical prowess. Unfortunately, this is rarely seen due to him almost always wearing his suit of armor. He usually wears a monocle over his left eye. Gender: Male Race: Dunmer Loyalties/Faction(s): House Telvanni Abilities and Skills: while technically retired, Galos still possesses the skills oft used by those individuals dubbed as "Nightblades". He is quite good at using magic as well as sneaking around. Magical Abilities: Power 1: Telekinesis Power 2: Invisibility Weapons: Steel Shortsword, Steel Dagger Equipment: a complete set of Netch Leather Armor, a copy of The Book of Daedra Personality: Stick. In. The. Mud. B O R I N G. N O S E N S E O F H U M O R. Serious to a fault and very uptight, Galos isn't exactly the kind of person one would go to the tavern and share a few drinks with. Instead, he's the kind of guy that one would go to the tavern to get away from. Dedicated to his studies and training, he leaves no time for fun, all of it being dedicated to work. Weakness(es): Galos is not very good with any sort of weapon aside from daggers and one-handed swords. Notably, he has horrible aim (he will lose at darts. Every single time). This may or may not have anything to do with the fact that he is slightly cross-eyed. Or the fact that one of his eyes can't even see his hand in front of his face without his monocle. Biography: Growing up as a member of House Telvanni, Galos was schooled in the arts of magic from an early age. Upon reaching adulthood, he ended up serving as an agent of the House as an assassin, serving those members above him in the house until an eye injury put him out of commission. Upon recovery, Galos decided to pursue more academic pursuits, though he still keeps his combat skills sharp.
  16. Changes to Tomo: Name: Tomo Species: Melding Universe Makuta Faction: Bionifight Power/Weapon 1: Level 6 Quick Healing. She can only heal others with this ability. Power/Weapon 2: Level 6 Shapeshifting. She has learned how to change her total body mass. Power/Weapon 3: Level 6 Elasticity. Appearance: in the wake of the Landfall, Tomo has assumed a different default appearance, taking the form of a vortex supported by a ghostly, black humanoid body. She will assume her Av-Matoran form when piloting the Velika's Vision. Bio: Tomo was one of the Makuta of the Melding Alternate Universe, trained to cast out her inner shadow and accept the light. She acted as a warrior for the Great Beings, assisting the Toa and Matoran in their maintenance efforts, and overall helping maintain society. During an interdimensional trip in which Rubakuta was escorting some of her Great Being masters as they went about their business, she witnessed the great Bionifight tournament, and she wanted in. So eventually, she got in, and here she is. Personality/Other: the events of the Landfall and the subsequent happenings on Saarella Kirotu have sobered up Tomo quite a bit. She seems to be constantly on edge, ready to snap at any moment. Gone is her mirth and her energy, replaced with an overbearing sense of urgency and a barely-contained rage. Curiously, these events have shaken up Tomo so much that she has lost her inner light alignment, reverting back to a balanced amount of light and shadow. As a result, she has started to emulate the traits of the Shadow Makuta of many other universes (though she isn't as far gone as to totally banish her light just yet).
  17. Kind of pushing the envelope with this profile... Name: Ignika Fallen (I.F.) Species: Kanohi Mask (with Toa body) Faction: Vapautti Sielu (under Kurjuus) Power/Weapon 1 and 2: Life manipulation. I.F. is capable of using its life-based powers to: Drain/give life force to a living object (similar to Avsa + Reverse Avsa). I.F. can only use one "side" of this power at a time.shapeshifting of other beings (NOTE: THIS REQUIRES THE SHAPESHIFTED PARTY'S EXPLICIT CONSENT. IT ALSO CANNOT GRANT INDIVIDUALS NEW POWERS; IT CAN ONLY CHANGE THEIR FORM. The changes from the shapeshifting will also revert in an hour's time.)Power/Weapon 3: Skyboard (similar to Toa Ignika's but without blades; it's just a flying board)Appearance: Basically a blue, black, and silver version of Toa Ignika (with a slightly different armor pattern). It usually wears a hooded robe to cover its own appearance. The mask on its face is usually a solid black color but will glow golden when it is using its powers. Bio: I.F. was the Kanohi Ignika of a timeline where it was forced to wipe out all life in the Matoran Universe. That guilt eventually caught up with it though(see Personality/Other), and it ended up attaching itself to the pathy of Misery. To this day, I.F. serves Kurjuus and the Herald, Masenna. I.F. is also very melodramatic, being easily brought to tears and... Dramatic shouting (probably due to still being a child - or an adolescent at most - mentally). I.F. has been heavily modified by Vapautti Sielu, having been heavily weakened. It won't leak life energy if damaged and its command over the power of life has been heavily weakened (restricted to the powers described in Power Slot 1+2)
  18. IC: Lytrel Lytrel stared blankly at Kale. "..." "... Kill the... Queen..." he muttered, looking down at the ground in shame. "... No home." IC: Sudrec "... It sounds like you're planning to fight a two front war. That's never a good idea, especially in unfamiliar territory."
  19. IC: Sudrec Sudrec looked up and nodded to the Av-Toa that entered, still doodling on the floor. IC: Lytrel (engineering) Slightly behind Kale, a despondent Ba-Toa wandered into the Engineering sector, uttering some strange gibberish about the "city that never slept" or something.
  20. IC: Sudrec (Engineering) "... I don't get it." Sudrec sat on the floor in Engineering, next to his personal mech. "They wish to free the soul from the 'chains of life'..." The Great Being absentmindedly drew on the floor with a piece of chalk he found. "... They're making the mistake of assuming that the soul even exists." From what he and his brothers had found, there wasn't any evidence to support the existence of a "soul" of any sorts. The Mind-Body dualistic paradigm that had been popular in the ancient times had long been discarded by the time of the Core War; instead, it was common knowledge that the mind was a function of the body. "Matoran go to the Red Star when they shut down, like we programmed. Agori simply cease to exist. When the stream of consciousness is ended... It is just ends. When brain function breaks down, there is no 'after'." ... What were these lunatics thinking, spouting about freeing the soul in death? He couldn't understand. He just... Couldn't. IC: Hagah (Training) The Artakha Bull went to work on a training dummy. Cut, cut, cut, stab... ... IC: Urashimako (Knowledge) "The... Freed Soul...?" Urashimako had heard whispers of their name once. But they were only whispers. Just a name, he knew, a name that he didn't believe had a face attached to it. Until now. Now, he knew they were real. ... "If only I had..."
  21. IC: Constructman This was a mess. This whole thing, this whole "Freed Soul" or whatever that name translated to... This was even worse than the Order. At least the Order only wanted to rule. These guys? ... Best not too think of it too hard. I was sitting at one of the Knowledge Sector's terminals, my mask plugged into the console, searching for info I would need to transfer. There wasn't anything on this particular island to be found, but I could still download the data on more "mundane" things. ... "... Allons enfants de la Patrie, Le jour de gloire est arrivé ! Contre nous de la tyrannie, L'étendard sanglant est levé, L'étendard sanglant est levé..." TL note: 肉 is the Han character for "meat", read as "ròu", "niku", or "yuk" IC: OWL 『肉...』 It had been two weeks in this wretched place. Six to go before he needed another body. 『肉...』 Two weeks of him sitting against the wall, watching people come and go. Two weeks of staring at 肉... 『肉... 肉 everywhere...』 A Toa. 肉. A Skakdi. 肉. A Vortixx. 肉. 『肉肉肉肉-』 He was drooling. Sprawled on the ground, a veritable puddle forming beneath him Don't make a mess... 『... I wanna go home... Go home..., go home go home GOHOMEGOHOME-』 One of his natural blades erupted out of his left shoulder; he slammed it into the wall of the hallway. 『There was never... Never anything like this...』 OOC: both open for interaction; more posts coming later
  22. IC: TomoTurning, turning - The lights on the consoles of Tomo's cockpit lit up. Something had breached the mech's armor. Quite seriously too. Taking advantage of her mech's panoramic cockpit, Tomo looked to look at her attacker... Which was a giant piece of origami. What. Putting the thought aside, Tomo... Tomo did a barrel aileron roll.
  23. @An/A Blade: basically, OWL's natural agility and reflexes is equivalent to that of a Toa using a Great Calix at full power. (not sure if Calix gives a speed enhancement... if it doesn't, I'll remove that part) If that doesn't sound good, I'll change it to a Calix mask.
  24. IC: Yasmin "No, nothing of note. You?"
