What a spineless salesman. I was hoping he would yell at someone for shooting the merchandise.

Yeah, he's a bit of a wimp.  I know there's minimal personality established for him but I somehow felt that screaming at VH would be a bit OOC. He's all bark and no bite, and accordingly even his bark isn't that loud.

I don't really understand this attack, by the way. Ferronox formed a metal sphere around himself, then somehow extended it all the way to catch Bastigan's legs... then you make the leg-grabbing into an autohit by attacking again. :|

 

I'll post IC once I've got an idea of what's going on. And once you've fixed that.

It was intended to catch you as you kicked off of him. And you can teleport out of the way.

In that case, Bastigan has already done so... since he teleported out to behind Ghidora, Ferronox is attacking empty air. Although I guess it was only a few seconds in-game so no big deal.

If Ghidora doesn't respond within one and a half hours of this post, I'll switch targets.

GM IC: NPC "MASK SALESMAN" - COMMERCIAL SECTOR
 
"May you help?" the Salesman said, turning towards the approaching being. He stood up and faced her, incensed. "No you may not help! You're the one who just shot 'em all to the floor!" Exasperated, he looked back to the masks.
 
"Now let me deal with this..." The grumbling Salesman crouched back down and began to shuffle the fallen wares around. One of them was very strangely wrinkled and pitted. His brow wrinkled as he examined it, and he sighed.

"Look here," he addressed Venom Huntress again - "look how you've damaged this one!"

GM IC: NPC "MASK SALESMAN" - COMMERCIAL SECTOR

"Hrrnph."

The weary salesman had been asleep at his desk, when suddenly a shot rang out and a bunch of masks fell off the display rack at the front of the counter. With a start, the Salesman jerked up, unbalancing his stool and nearly falling over.

Regaining his balance - and with it his dignity - the Salesman jumped off the stool, scrambled out front of the stall, and began collecting the masks that had fallen.

I don't like the squid launcher stand-in, and the green spines seems out of place (though I assume you simply don't have a blue one?)... but those are probably the only aspects of the MOC that I dislike. Great work.

Getting a running start, Bastigan sprinted forward and jumped into the air, then teleported before hitting the ground - he appeared inches behind Ferronox, falling immediately onto the hulking Toa's back, attempting to grab on and shoot him from point-blank range.

I refuse to appreciate this

Bast's eyes widened as he saw 0579 turn towards him -
 - then suddenly, he felt the point of a blade in his body. Oh joy. [19, +1 to 0579]

Immediately, as soon as he was able to, Bastigan teleported behind the Okotoan, attempting to wrap a forearm around his neck and hold him from behind.

Bastigan grinned as his bullet struck home. The smile dropped from his face as Charlinia whirled around with a blast of magma, and Bastigan teleported vertically to dodge it. As he neared the ground, he teleported up again, to fall once more and increase his own momentum, knowing that his next downward strike would be empowered by the kinetic energy he'd be building up...

Clenching a fist, he teleported to barely a foot above 0579 and dropped down with immense momentum.

Bastigan dodged the blade, teleporting back to where his gun had now fallen, and picked it up.

Teleporting again a little ways behind Charlinia, he fired at the Magma Toa's back.

Keeping his eyes on the Okotoan above, Bastigan teleported rapidly back and forth as the Blades impacted the ground near him. Caution would pay off... especially now that Charlinia was charging towards 0579 from behind.

he just froze the shotgun? for five seconds?

Unfortunately for Bast, he suddenly found his shotgun unable to fire, and unable to move - gritting his teeth, he released his grip on the weapon and teleported out of range of 0579's attacks, just as the Ethereal Blade swept through where he'd stood a moment before.

Bastigan knew he'd have to be swift to get in, get his gun (once it unfroze), and get out... but when you can teleport, swift is something you're good at.

for context, Bast was confused by how 0579 just walked towards him instead of rushing normally

Bastigan was relieved to see that he was not yet going to be frozen. He renewed the attack, teleporting to dodge the blades, ending up to the side of 0579 and firing another series of shotgun blasts.
