  1. Congratulations! It's awesome to know that the person with the highest post count on BZPower is Australian like me.
  2. Six years later and he became the greatest Toa of all as well as my first set. Remember in peace, Matoro...
  3. Since it's the first review of one of the 2015 sets, I wanted to make sure I covered things in as much detail as possible. I'm sure future reviews will be shorter since things like the new box and many of the new pieces have now been covered. It's okay, I enjoy the lengthy reviews. You did a great job on this one and I can't wait for the other/s to review the new Tahu and Onua sets.
  4. Whoa, this review goes for a while, I was only expecting 10 minutes.
  5. It's nice to know we share birthdays. I can't wait until the new sets officially launch, it'll be a fantastic school break, one I haven't had for nearly five years.
  6. My favorite head piece is the Toa Metru styled type, because of being able to change or remove the brain-stalks with ease, as well as being able to change to the shorter brain-stalks which were introduced in 2008. Plus, most masks after 2003 worked well with it.
  7. I really like this. The thought of the original Lewa meeting the new one is just awesome, this is definitely a masterpiece of Bionicle art. Great job.
  8. I'll be going by what I own for my favorite sets of each year. 2001: 8532: Onua 2002: 8562: Gahlok 2003: 8578: Gahlok Kal 2004: 8811: Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo 2005: 8762: Toa Iruini 2006: 8729: Toa Nuparu 2007: 8923: Hydraxon 2008: 8942: Jetrax T6 2009: 8998: Toa Mata Nui 2010: 7116: Tahu
  9. I favor Gali's new Mask of Water out of all them, because while it may not closely resemble the original version of itself as much as most of the other new masks, I feel it suits Gali and I love how it is designed to have water goggles over the face of it.
  10. I'm personally not too sure how it will turn out. However, I must say that it is fantastic that Bionicle is returning with a fresh new start as well as a new storyteam.
  11. As Fordianl and a few other people stated, Bionicle's level of complexity was enjoyable. However I do think that I'm one of the people who doesn't mind it only because I was able to get into the story early on, around the release of the first movie and just before the story shifted 1000 years into the past.
  12. My brother's 2001 collection of Bionicle sets looked awesome and inspired me to obtain some. Eventually my dad bought me Tohunga Matoro, then later Tahnok Va and Tahu Nuva. From there on I was able to get most of the sets within each year, usually only missing out on a few of the big sets in the later years, however I'm not too worried about that.
  13. Yes! This doesn't surprise me, I had it coming. Well, time to pull out my Hero Factory parts bin.
  14. I'm not saying I think it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Bionicle TV show comes to exist within the next three years if the new line sells well. I honestly wouldn't mind a TV show. It would be something new to Bionicle, and surely there might be a few filler episodes, but at least nothing (hopefully) will be jump-cut like the first movie. You know, from Le Koro to Ko Koro in one or two moments. With a TV show, I think we can learn of and see all of the areas in great detail.
  15. Agreed, a Facebook page for any Lego theme used to be something I viewed as being unlikely to occur. It's great that Lego themes can now get awareness through the power of social media. The fans can get more information from Lego regarding set launches, exclusives, videos and such, for the many Lego themes as well as Lego overall and the company itself.
  16. These are very good checklists. They're obviously easy to use and it isn't hard to find and see what you're looking for, so I'll probably print them off. I remember my brother showing me some of the older ones, which were also great, but it is nice to see that they get updated.
  17. These giveaways are the only things making people on BZPower make Twitter accounts. I've retweeted, but I highly doubt I'm going to win, though it's great that Lego is doing this to show the return of Bionicle.
  18. I'm very excited. I think the gear functions are great because they're simple to use but at the same time offer quite a bit of play value. I think that it is also great that we have a specialised piece for the gear function of each set that includes one, and being able to articulate the arms to however we want and still be able to turn a gear and the let the arms swing is just fantastic. I'd honestly prefer a gear function over a launcher any day.
  19. Want to start wasting money, ay? I'd recommend waiting for the new sets to arrive and buying as many as you can, but before you do that, burn twenty or more pounds so you can run to your local store quicker.
  20. It's still Friday in Australia... Yeah, early in the morning. I'm sleeping early.
  21. I'll definitely give it a go, I used to play MNOG one quite a bit, but only played the second one a few times. It's looking great so far, what a great effort to you and your team.
  22. If that's true, it's going to confuse the Ussal out of people, just saying. I don't think Greg would directly tell information on a theme's story which we're meant to find out about later, not right now. I'm in for a link to it just like you though.
  23. Great to hear that we have a new location coming our way. My mind, body and wallet are prepared, my room on the other hand is not. Time to make room and store the oldies in their canisters.
  24. I totally agree with you. Bionicle should have it's own song from the ground up to present it's comeback.
