Tahu? Anyone? I feel that he has the most cohesive color scheme and build (with the exception of the gunmetal hands/feet), no stickers, the gold mask blends with the color scheme, his mask is pretty G1... I feel like Tahu G2 is the perfect combination of Mata colors and iconic-ness, Nuva weapons and brawn, and Mistika action-figure-ness. Onua is second though.

I think this is one of the less-impressive Mixel tribes. -
Where would YOU Be in The Toa Empire?
Wazdakka replied to Meyres of Drifting Huna's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
The Empire already dealt with it. Kualus and Bomonga went there, killed Brutaka, and took his mask. So, presumably, Voya Nui is not safe. -
What's the point of having powerful beings in the MU?
Wazdakka replied to Wazdakka's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Were members of the Order created for the Order, or did they join the Order after being created for a different purpose? This would matter for Fisher's answer. -
$60 on the Exo-Toa? $109 on the display? Steep. Check this though... http://www.ebay.com/itm/201407745225?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Where would YOU Be in The Toa Empire?
Wazdakka replied to Meyres of Drifting Huna's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
I would join the anti-Tuyet resistance group. You really cannot beat an insurgency. -
So everything in the Matoran Universe (Generation 1) has a purpose. Matoran keep Mata Nui running Rahi somehow also keep Mata Nui running. Toa protect the Matoran. Makuta create new Rahi and oversee everything. Turaga are local leaders and ex-Toa. So why in the world would the Great Beings populate the MU with extremely powerful and potentially dangerous beings that are not part of this system? I'm looking at individuals like Ancient, The Shadowed One, Brutaka, and to a lesser extent, Krekka's Species, Sidorack's Species, and the Skakdi. What would their role be?

Uh. I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but does anyone have jokes that are not puns?

I finally saw the in-store display everyone's been talking about at Target. Of course, Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder happened to be completely sold out too. Also, happy birthday, Toa of Galifrey!

Broken pieces. Broken pieces everywhere...
Wazdakka replied to M.T.M.A.'s topic in Bionicle Discussion
I am similarly surprised that Hordika pieces (2005) are breaking. 2007-2008 pieces were known to be relatively prone to breaking, but not those. I second the advice of others - just BrickLink some replacement parts. It shouldn't be very expensive at all. -
Not going to lie, I had trouble distinguishing the difference.

So AFOLs really love Ghostbusters, or so it would seem.

Onyxia - Former Champion of the Arena
Wazdakka replied to BlackboltJohnson's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
The MoC itself is good, but I came here to add some more depth to what Bonkle said about Hero Factory. The Bionicle community as a whole often harbors a little bit of resentment towards Hero Factory as a product line for replacing Bionicles, but generally do not dislike it simply for the builds or parts. Let your creativity run wild! -
Feels just like an old-school Rahi guide. Love it. A lot. That said, while having very different builds, the Mammoth and Califa end up looking pretty similar. Only a minor nitpick though.

IC: Nameless Po-Koro Surgeon (pertaining to Torvoth) Click. Wait. Beep. Pour.. Drink. It felt good to get some energy back. Just like any Matoran, he could have imbibed energy simply through his hands, but it was much more satisfying to drink it down. This particular energy was a fairly bitter and slightly stale cup of coffee. There was always some coffee in the medcenter, though always of varying quality and temperature. This batch was not very notable in any which way, save that it was now piping hot. It was also being slowly poured into his mouth. Augh, that was hot. Regardless, it was still pretty good. It was at least something to keep him going, even as the sun began to dip towards the horizon. "Hey, Doc." He turned to see one of the other doctors stride into the break room, flashing a genuine smile at him. "Mmm," he grunted in response. "You okay, chief?" Sigh. "Alright, I'm gonna have to take that as a definite 'no'... " "Last patient. Real tough case. Just got out of the operating room after several painful hours." "Oh?" "Dropped off by some Plasma Toa, busted up really badly. Internal injuries - hemorrhaging, crushed lung, every non-mechanical organ damaged, and shattered hydraulics all over." "." "Yeah, that's not all. Back broken. Spine severed at-" here he broke off into a fit of coughing, spitting out some of the hot fluid which he had just choked on. His companion watched with concern, but the Po-Matoran recovered quickly. The people of Stone were made of strong stuff. "Mata Nui. That sounds rough." "Mmhmm." "Is he going to make it?" "Oh, you can't ask that. You know that's not good. Don't get overattached to the patient or anything." Suddenly, the break room doors burst open and in hustled a nurse. "Doctor? It's the patient..."

This, and also, good to see a brand new species introduced.

I guess that's the result of Hero Factory trying out a bunch of new head designs, continuously evolving away from the old stuff.
